I've been passing this place for 2+ years and before, was too "nervous" to try their food after having a bad pho experience. After being sick for a few days, my wife and I decided to have pho just to strengthen our immune system. This was a fantastic idea! They have chicken broth and beef broth dishes (we try to stick to chicken broth) and the pho was just what the doctor ordered! The people were very friendly setting up the order, and the location was your quintessential asian restaurant in a small town feel. One of my favorite places! Picked up a chicken egg noodle soup to go and it was delicious like always. The noodles are perfect and the broth is amazing. I would even drink the broth on its own. Incredible flavors and just a little spicy because of the jalapeño slices but I didn't find it overwhelming or too spicy. More like a hint of spice/heat. The food here is amazing--the broth is rich, flavorful, and everything tastes fresh. If you're just looking for great pho, this place is great. However, their order accuracy is terrible. I've been here twice, and both times they messed up my order--even when I placed it in person. It's incredibly frustrating to get home and realize something is missing or incorrect. They clearly need a better quality check before handing out pickup orders. I really want to love this place, but the lack of attention to detail makes it hard to trust them. If you go, double-check your order before leaving. The first time they packed a completely different order the second time they didn't pack broth for pho. A classic hole in the wall that cooked up delicious surprises - upon arrival there was plenty of parking available and the place itself was quaint until you walk into a surprisingly big restaurant. We were greeted with warm welcomes and the staff seemed genuinely kind! They had large portions - and all their dishes were made fresh to order. Like all pho - it was comfort/home in a bowl and the ambiance of the place made this experience heart warming. The chicken was so juicy and the vegetables were so fresh! The broth being the most important part - was perfect to taste, savory, hot, and a breath of life. It took me about 5 years too long to finally dine here. Where I live doesn't have many Vietnamese options and the spots that do lack options like the tofu banh mi I ordered. Really good portions and veggies were fresh. I would love if they served cilantro and mint alongside the basil on the pho toppings plate. Service was pleasant but a bit slow. We sat around for awhile before drink orders were taken but once it got rolling food came out quickly and at good temperatures. Can't go wrong trying them out :) read more

Food was good. Service was ok as well. My husband and I asked the waitress if there was any sesame in the food we were ordering, we were told no (by her and from the kitchen). We let her know my husband had a serious allergy to sesame seed or sesame oil. However, we were told again and again that there was no sesame seed while my husband was getting red like a tomato and choking and out of breath. Worriedly, I asked if the peanut sauce for the summer rolls or the spicy beef pho my husband was eating came with sesame oil. While I kept asking if there was sesame seeds or oil in the food we were eating, the lady kept telling me again and again that it could be the spiciness and I kept repeating my husband is used to eating spicy. After a while, the chef came and mentioned the peanut sauce for the summer rolls came with a bit of hoisin sauce and my husband had read the bottle on the table. Indeed, the hoisin had the sesame oil. The waitress took off the sandwich we ordered along with the pho. That was ok but it doesnt compensate. While it started as innocent dinner, it turned out to be a scary situation. To Saigon Cafe, please make sure you know the ingredients in the food. This could have turned into a tragic event. It's so hard to find good pho in the Wesley chapel/new Tampa area and I always have to drive 30-45+ minutes for pho but I'm SO happy I found Saigon cafe. My new favorite pho spot!! I've been here a few times now and every time it's been great. Summer rolls and fried spring rolls are awesome. Banh mis are amazing, bread is crunchy but soft on the inside. My friend and I stopped here for dinner. She had the Spicy Beef Pho and I had the Seafood Pho. We also ordered Spring Rolls and Summer Rolls with peanut sauce, which were good. Neither of us were impressed with the Pho. The spicy beef was indeed spicy, but otherwise not much flavor. I did not enjoy the imitation calamari, crab or scallops that were in the seafood pho along with shrimp. My preference would be to leave out the fake stuff and just keep the shrimp and veggies. When craving for a yummy big bowl of Pho noodle soup in Zephyrhills, I know I have to get my fix at Saigon Cafe. I recently found out about this place with my parents and now we love coming here quite often. It's hard for me to order something other than their Deluxe Beef Pho noodle soup because it's what I like the most about Vietnamese food but I have ordered their Teriyaki Chicken Combo plate and their Chicken Fried Rice which were both pretty good too. I am looking forward to trying their Banh Mi sandwich and their boba tea drinks one day. It's hard to take photos when your devouring pho. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine; the noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was flavorful without being oily. We had the summer rolls, veggie tofu pho (the surprise standout), and beef pho. We were served quickly and had room for coffee at the end. The restaurant was kept very clean and the TV was perfectly placed for us to watch the Bucs play has listened to relaxing, traditional Vietnamese music. All this in Zephyrhills, Florida. The selection of protein included grilled pork, grilled shrimp, grilled chicken, grilled beef, fried fish, grilled pork chop, grilled fish and veggies. We got the today special fried frog leg. It come with 8 drum frog leg. This leg is massive. The coating and accompanying sauce are flavorful. Our other dish is grilled pork chop rice. It has good enough seasoning.
