PHỞ TÂN ĐẠC BIỆT House Special Rice Noodle Soup Combination for Meat Lovers
    Branco J.

AMAZING PLACE!! Don't let the outside of this building scare you, service it's really amazing, server who assist us was really nice and attentive, the food quality and taste.... 100000/10 my girl totally loved the fried dumplings, maybe because there were crunchy and special sauce was GAS .. we also ordered spring rolls but no pics of that you can guess why . Meat house pho was incredible my girl love it and I tried it... 1000/10 but the fish one OH LA LAAAAAAA.. I went with that choice because meat ones are the most tasty as always so it's weird that you could get a bad meat pho.. but fish ones NOT EVERYONE DOES IT RIGHT! And I totally love the flavor of this pho's. Most important part, PRICES ARE INCREDIBLE! 2 phos, 2 appetizer and 2 drinks.... 56$? Any other place 70$ easy! Def this it's an amazing place!

My family and I recently went to this restaurant based on the high reviews and it did not disappoint. The pho was amazing. It was rich, comforting, and very nostalgic. The other 2 rice dishes were also great but I believe the highlights are definitely the soup options. Each portions were LARGE. Would definitely recommend and be coming back every time I have a pho craving or when I'm feeling sick.

This pho place was recommended by my wife. Since we are in the area, we decided to have the lunch here. She has good experience with them. But her revisit show that they are not improving and actually feel they take a step back. We got the skirt steak rice dish. The steak is not soft and tender. The sauce is good. At least this dish is good. The second dish is the tan special pho. The pho base is a bit American taste. The meat is quantity is average less. Overall the price is a bit more expensive compared to the demographic that can afford.

The register is actually super cute

Prompt: hole in the wall restaurant in a slightly sketchy area. Answer: Pho Tan. Conclusion: an amazing place to go that should not be overlooked!! Any true foodie knows that hole-in-the-wall restaurants that are super unassuming from the outside always turn out to have the best food. Pho Tan is a case in point. You'd never expect much from them just passing by, but that's exactly where the mistake is made! Their food is pretty simple, but they do it well. I love pho and they make it how it should be (in my opinion). I usually get a simple chicken or shrimp pho, and it's loaded with carrots, broccoli, snap peas and other veggies along with the protein. So not only is the meal delicious, but it's soo healthy too! The steamed dumplings and spring rolls are on par too, and I am just so happy to have this little place nearby to frequent. It's definitely a locally owned business so the service can be a little slow because there aren't many workers. So don't expect a quick trip but do remember it's totally worth the wait!!

Everyone was eating beef pho around me and there's plenty of "oooo this is so gooooood" comments flying around. I wished I got pho but instead, I was surprised to see beef stew pho on the menu and decided to give it a go. This is my "go-to" pho option when I used to live in a city with a Vietnamese-town. It took about 30 minutes for the beef stew to arrive and then I was disappointed to hear that the typical beansprouts, basil and lime would be an extra charge from the waitress. Also, the carrots were not stewed with the beef stew but instead, crunchy and sliced on top. The soup was also bland and tasted watered down... so I ended eating the whole bowl dunking it in hoisin sauce and siracha. I was really hoping for the traditional version. Note to self...next time... try the beef pho.

Looks a little shady on the outside but totally different on the inside. Service was great, helpful and food came out fast. The food and drink was better than expected. The coconut water was delicious and they even open the coconut to eat the meat.

This is hands down one of my favorite Pho places I've ever been to. I don't live in Lakeland but I would pay good money to have their food shipped to me. First we got the crab rangoons and WOW. These were hands down the most delicious crab rangoons ever and I've been on the hunt for ones that taste this good in my town. These aren't your average crab and cream cheese ones. They had garlic, water chestnuts, garlic and peppers and magic inside. The pho was fantastic and giant serving size. I made two meals out of it. Next time I am in Lakeland I'm headed here first.

One of my favorite vietnamese places to visit thats local. I've had the shrimp spring rolls (6.5-10), egg rolls (7.5-10). They have changed the menu up but I have had the Chicken Pho (8.0-10), Beef & Brisket Pho (9.0-10). Both very filling. The chicken could be improved but overall still very flavorful.

    Yes they do

Hi! We'll have a small maltipoo traveling with us. She is 8 lbs and well-behaved. Will we be able to bring her either in with us or is there a patio area where she can sit with us? Thank you.

There is not outdoor seating. I would suggest calling them to directly in regards to bringing the dog inside. I somewhat doubt it is allowed? However you never know if you don't ask. You could always get a meal to go and eat at a nearby park? Pho… Read more

Very tasty and this was a great hidden gem in Lakeland. I went with coworkers as a party of six. Menu clearly states parties of 6+ have tip automatically included. It was and I just wish I could've tipped on top. Place was nice and spacey but casual. You can talk and have conversation. Not a quiet, "upscale" kind of place but would still be great for a date night. Plenty of parking because it's in a huge shopping plaza. Price point is pretty good considering how other places are priced. Overall, if you like Vietnamese food (or have never tried it), this is a great spot to check out. Highly recommend and love finding this spot in my city! EDIT/UPDATE: The food and service is still 5 stars. I took a star off because I found out the tips don't go to the servers. I saw this on a recent visit. Will definitely come back for the food and service, but I won't be tipping. As a former food service worker myself, that doesn't sit right with me.
