Prices seem high if you're from Orlando but well worth the cost. Good portions and delicious flavor. Broth isn't too sweet like some restaurants will do. My cousins said "broth is clean" and it just had a great pho aroma which takes time and patience. Service was great and food came quickly. VERY clean restaurant which you don't always get with Viet food. Bathroom was very clean too. Scallion oil on the rice from grilled pork and rice was a nice touch AND we get a small bowl of broth with the rice. This was our second time eating here. My wife and I already have our favorite meals. I had the Rare Ribeye Pho (P2) and my wife had the Grilled Chicken Bún (B1). My pho was wonderful. I love the plate of add-ins. Fresh basil, sprouts, jalapeños, and limes. Also adding a bit of the sauces (sriracha, soy and chili oil) gives a depth of flavor. The broth is flavorful and the noodles and sliced ribeye make it perfect. My wife enjoyed her chicken and vermicelli bowl a lot. She had enough for lunch the next day. The Thai tea's taste differs, depending on who makes it. It was a little too sweet tonight, but i still drank it all. The staff was attentive both times we came in, and the timing of the food was great. The restaurant only had a few tables of people but there were a ton of to go orders. EST pho I have found south of Brandon. While we keep going back to the pho because it is so good, everything else we have tried has been excellent and plentiful. Service depends on who you get to take your order. One is friendly and very efficient. She even remembers your order from the last time you were there and brings your special requests even before you ask for them. The other seems to resent the fact that you are there. However, she still gets your order to you correctly also. So they both are efficient, the difference is in the friendliness. The ambience is pretty basic with varnished wood tables and chairs, and always clean. The only problem we have ever encountered is the fact that the closing time is 9:00PM, they will not seat you after 8:30. We have begged our way in and there again, it depends who is up front seating people. Both will pack to go orders after 8:30, you only stand a chance of being seated with one of them, even if you promise to be out by 9. We go to this restaurant several times a month and it is our favorite spot for pre-meeting planning discussions and post meeting discussions, so we have had a lot of experience with this restaurant. We do highly recommended that if you are a pho fan and like good Vietnamese home cooking, you will enjoy Pho Loc Tho. read more

They are actually Phở Lộc Thọ when you include all the diacritic marks but even if you don't, this is some darned good food. I met my friends here for dinner and it was fantastic! We started with the spring rolls which translates to "salad rolls" and are paper rolls wrapping pork and shrimp and noodles and lettuce and came with the fabulous hoisin and peanut sauce for dipping. Decently sized, one of these is a good appetizer and two of them are a lot. Try them! For main, I got the pho with sliced beef. I had gotten the "regular" size and even this is a lot of food. Apparently if you get a "large," your waiter has to stand around like a lifeguard as there's enough room to swim in that bowl. But the regular is plenty of food. Beef, noodles, broth, and then we added from the big bowl of condiments - basil, bean sprouts, peppers, fresh limes - and added hoisin, sriracha and maybe even some fish sauce. Was in the mood for some pho and found Pho Loc Tho based on the great reviews. The restaurant is located in a plaza and once you enter, the smell of the food hits you and you can see them preparing it! Ordered the large chicken and shrimp pho and it was good, not the best I've had, but the broth was tasty. I just wish the chicken was fresher because it had that taste when it's been reheated. The chicken nor shrimp had any flavor so I wish the proteins would have been seasoned too. The broth was definitely the star of the show. I decided to get a regular beef pho with tripe and tendon, and I am so thrilled I did. Ordering over the phone was easy and my to-go order was ready in 10 minutes. I was thrilled with the outcome of this dish. The broth was in a separate container from the meat, veggies and noodles. I assembled and heated everything up at home, which is extremely easy to do. This was probably some of the best broth I have ever eaten in my life. It was rich & flavorful and had much more depth to it than regular broth. You can tell was made over several hours. This place was our go to, we were regulars - literally once every week or other week. Recently they had a new girl join the crew. We have had nothing issues every time we walk on the door when we interact with her. Anytime we go in there, it's either they are out of broth, or they aren't sitting people. There is never a set time they close - it's always a different time that seems to fluctuate depending on what time the teenager wants to be out of there by. It was supposed to be only shrimp and it had pork and some kind of squiggly white something that was very nasty. I had to throw those away. I really love the slaw that the bang bang shrimp were tossed over. It was delicious with the bang bang sauce. I would just be leery of getting the shrimp rolls because they were not delicious. The food and the service are so amazing that anything like ambience or decor don't matter. Ever since they opened,, the waitresses, the owner, the workers consistently give exceptional service. I'm not a chef, but I cook a very great deal to include, not Vietnamese but Thai & some Korean food. I don't know anybody in the surrounding areavthat even makes rice as good as they do. It's the way it's supposed to be made not mush. it's something that doesn't send your blood sugar into the stratosphere. I have been following their Facebook, and I've always wanted to try their seafood and mussels. I called and placed an order for take out and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes (and it was). For appetizers I ordered Bang Bang Shrimp and 2 orders of the Fresh Spring Rolls with no pork and it came with peanut sauce on the side, they were both excellent! For my entrée I ordered the Pho with Taí-Rare Beef Ribeye as my meat/protein, and it comes with Rice Noodles, Onions, Cilantro, and scallions. The broth was super rich and flavorful. Pro: the pho is good and their variety, awesome. I like that they are located so close to home however, due to their con. I would drive all the way to Brandon instead of ordering from here when I have the time.. Yesterday- we drove to Brandon to get pho at pho Hoang but it was closed so we drove to pho viet- also in Brandon and that was under renovation so we finally settled for this bc we both don't like the fat trimmings at this restaurant... that goes to show that you can be convenient located and have good broth but not everyone likes fatty rare beef so this was our last choice.... Hopefully someone who owns this restaurant reads this and make that change for the better.. Cons: I really wish they would trim the fat of their thinly sliced beef - this is the only pho place that doesn't do that in all of tampa and even Bradenton which is a no no... not everyone likes the texture of fat and traditionally the rare beef is not lined with fat... that's why there are so many options of meat you can select when you order pho... so that it accommodates the masses.
