The ribs were amazing the quesadillas were good too but the ribs def took the cake! Will definitely try this place again. We went for game day. On a Sunday very open not crowded bar. And I enjoyed the burgers and my friend ordered the wing special . Sweet potato fries were amazing as always. The carrot cake was okay but for the size the price was good. I probably would not order it again They do have shot specials so please look at those and then the other drinks they have as well. Tried out Talking Pint for the 1st time the other night. What I can say is overall, it was okay. Nothing great and not horrible! The atmosphere is like a local divey place. They have a big selection of beers and drinks on the menu. They do have seating outside, as well as inside. Service was friendly. We ordered the burgers, bistro burger, classic burger, and mushroom and Swiss. The claim is that they are smash burgers, but just felt like a regular burger to me. I don't think it was worth the $15, maybe 10-12. Overall they were good, but the bun was cold. We also had the pretzel bites which were good. Our first visit here was a success! I had the Bistro Smash burger and sautéed "fresh" spinach as my side. Most places use frozen. It was cooked perfectly with the ends being charred a bit. Our waitress was great and helpful. read more

Kristen was our server and she apologized for making us wait.. but we quickly realized it was because she was the only one working on the floor. My teenage son and I had lunch at The Talking Pints a couple of weeks ago. It was a really good experience. I was appreciative of our server's attentiveness. She was very accommodating. She allowed us to sit outside because indoors it was very loud and yet we were the only customers outside. The food was pretty good. We enjoyed appetizers and entrees. My son had the pretzel bites. I had the bacon ramp shrimp and we both had a burger for an entrée and had more than enough to take home for another meal. This was a new restaurant that we decided to try and I'm glad we did. I would go there again. I have to say, though, the best part of choosing this restaurant was that another customer decided to pick up our tab and pay for our meal. This was a great experience! The bartenders were also the wait staff so it was lengthy times between service but they were efficient and kind when we did see them. Overall: solid bar food. Nothing will make your jaw drop that it's incredible but you won't be disappointed either. They have some really good pretzel bites. They had a perfect balance of butter and salt. I got the Hawaiian chicken and shrimp meal, the chicken was very dry but the rice had really good flavor. The service was sub par, she got everything right it was just not very friendly. They do have darts but you have to bring your own darts, which I thought was odd. The Mac and cheese had really good flavor but it was very very greasy. So if you like that you will love it, however it was hard to eat the whole thing. Cute place, but rude server. Kept trying to upsell and got viably irritated when we wouldn't. First time here. Won't be coming back which is a shame. The lady who was taking our order who I assume was a manager which made it even worse. Had some kick to them. She came back for refills after a while. I mentioned my soup had not come out. She went in the back to check and they were just melting the cheese- so somebody must have forgotten (not sure if her or the kitchen). Soup was good once it came out. I had a burger that was good, but a bit messy. Husband had a salad and said it was good. This place is not too far away so we will go back to try other menu items. My families favorite stop when the adults don't want to cook. Our first time have the gator bites for an appetizer. It was ok, nothing I'll order again. The special, bourbon whiskey meatloaf burger, OMG was soooo good! And I only had a bite (husband ordered it). I wanted to ask for the recipe because it was BOMB! It was our first time trying to sweet potato fries with the aioli and bouyyyyyy those were the best!! I'm not sure how they cut or cooked them to be crunchy and still soft. But we are fans! The kids butter pasta is perfect for picky eaters. Our two year old is a fan. The tequila lime chicken was okay. Honestly, the broccoli and spinach was better than the chicken. I've been here 4 times and really want it to be a regular spot but can't do it. First off it's so loud you think you're at a sporting event! It's like eating in a warehouse. The tables are disgusting. In general the eating area is just plain old and wore out. Ordered a beer and it took so long the beer appeared to be half full. 1st time here. The food came out very fast. The French onion soup and Ceasar salad were good. My husband ordered the meatloaf. He asked for butter for his broccoli. I would literally give this place a solid four. I had no idea this place was this close to my house. I am so glad I found it. It has been here for a good two years or so and this was the first time I even heard about it or even been here. I have come a few times since and still plan on coming for their Sunday brunch. The food is spot on all the times I have come and the beer selections they have on tap never disappoints. The first time I came, I met the bar tender named Alley. She was awesome! She gave us samples of the beers we were trying to decide on and a few she had suggested for us to taste. First of all, I already liked the place since they had one of my favorites on tap...Hefeweizen. Although, the next time I came, they were out. Boo! The menu also looked good. We started off with the Smoked Fish Spread. This was made with Mahi-Mahi blended with herbs and spices. It was swerved with a side of their house pickles, pickled red onions, jalapenos and crackers. My advice is to order an extra side of crackers. You'll need them. For our actual lunch, I got the Athena chicken sandwich and my friend, their regular chicken sandwich. The Athena was topped with fresh spinach, tomatoes, melted feta cheese and topped with a balsamic glaze. You also get to choose your one side. The both of us devoured our sandwiches. Bottom line is, this is a great spot in the area and worth the visit. The one and only complaint I have about this place is the service. Ugh, it is SLOW and you sometimes wonder if any servers are actually assigned to your table. I have seen people walk in and wait a while before they even get greated and be seated. We have been twice. Both times had the same waitress, Bonita. First time she charged us double on an entree. Tonight, was even worse. Two grilled chicken sandwiches in which the chicken was tough & over cooked. Husband ordered French fries and he got mashed potatoes (with a club sandwich???!!!!). My fries were overcooked and greasy. Menu said sandwiches came with sides but she declined to mention that if you order premium sides there's an up charge. (I had sweet potato fries). When confronted she used the excuse that she had only been there six months. SERIOUSLY! How long does it take to be a good server?! I personally have been a server and a restaurant owner. This is no way to run a business. The restaurant itself was dirty. Cobwebs all in the corner of the booth. Pictures crooked, and seat cushions torn. Windows were filthy. We will NEVER go back. Fishhawk/Riverview/Bloomingdale people BEWARE and don't waste your money. Wawa across the street would have been a much better choice and a more pleasant experience. You never blame or argue with a customer...you make it right if you expect to make it in the extremely highly competitive market of restaurants. read more

The bar tender even came to our table to ask my friend about the drink she ordered, she is very particular about he Margaret's. Had never been here before, so my date recommended we eat here, she had eaten here once before. The food was amazing! My date got the club sandwich and I got the fish and chips. Having lived in England myself, these fish and chips were spot on! The fish was fried perfectly and the fries were delicious! My date loved her sandwich! Reasonably priced and we could not finish it all in one sitting, which is not common for either of us. If I were to complain about anything; there was live music, which was excellent, but a little on the loud side, especially if you are trying to have any form of conversation... but it really wasn't a huge deal, since we were stuffing our faces! I had the longest hair in my food and because of all the cheese and mashed potatoes I actually ate it...and then pulled out all 9 of the 12 inch hair.
