Chicken and ground beef tacos Taco Tuesday $2.50 each

I come here for my favorite local live music performers, Eddie Wright and Damon Fowler, and tonight is Eddie Wright, 1st Tuesday of every month. Third Wednesday of every month is Damon Fowler. It's also Taco Tuesday, and we ordered a Chicken and a Ground Beef each, $2.50 apiece. They were okay, enjoyable, what else can I say. Cheap good eats lol. I could get them again.

This place is definitely a hidden gem don't pass up a fantastic meal, a great vibe, excellent customer service. It's definitely a nice place to relax after a long day of work and you wanna just chill with some nice music and a few good drinks. but lord have mercy please, please don't skip out on the food! Smh wow every dish is simply delicious and comes out hot and fresh. And if you love mozzarella sticks the pull is something serious IYKYK .. but let's get into this shrimp po boy I had tonight!! Slam dunked it!! Slap a person silly hands down mouth watering ummm delicious and the bread it comes on Omggg I can cry just thinking about how flavorful it was and the shrimps came out cooked just right and that sauce that's drizzled on top smh it's that hint of spicy but not too much gives it just the right kick you need to kick a leg out and shake it's so good! Wait just look at the pictures please and go get you one!! Tell them Denise sent you!!!

Atmosphere - Great! Like most pubs, the restaurant has a fun feel and is welcoming. There are both high tops and regular 4 top tables. There is a very small stage where live music can be found on a fairly regular basis. Service - Very good. There was a popular musician playing that night and the restaurant was crowded and yet our server did a great job attending to us. Food - Disappointing. The menu is excellent and has many interesting options. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. I have ordered this sandwich often over the years and have enjoyed the authentic version in Nashville. Unfortunately, this sandwich does not measure up to what I expected. The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. However, the hot sauce had plenty of heat, but little pleasure. In addition the sandwich came with kettle chips which were so hard I was afraid that I might chip a tooth! Overall Value - Just OK. Although the restaurant has some appealing attributes, I can't get past the disappointment of the meal.

We came for the purpose of hearing Damon, who has been highly recommended by friends. Parking was a bit challenging as many people had the same idea and the lot isn't large. The bar/restaurant is fairly large, with high tops and low tops. The stage area is very small, and can't be seen by all parts of the restaurant. Our server was quick to take our drink order while we looked over the menu. The menu is extensive, with numerous appetizers, sandwiches, salads and entrees. I settled on the French dip, with the parmesan crusted fries as a side. Our food came fairly quick and everything was hot. Since there were 8 of us, food came out at 3 different times, but not too far between. My sandwich was large, and filled with lots of beef and cheese. The au jus was a thick gravy, not what I had ever experienced before. It was way too salty, so I opted not to use it. The fries were very good. The live music was not disappointing. Service was decent considering the crowd.

We ventured out from Riverview for our weekly happy hour with friends. The old parking lot and curb appeal can be misleading. Don't be deterred, the food, service and drinks were all top notch. I had wings which I ordered "Robbie's Way" a mix of Thai Chili and Nashville Hot... the way Robbie (doing double duty as a server and manager) recommended. There was live entertainment which was excellent. too.

The food was tasty and the ambience of this Irish pub was really nice, but I felt the prices were a little bit high.

(Auto flash is needed for pics) The joint, is VERY CLEAN! The staff is awesome and very attentive! They understand process. The drinks are SOOO WELL MADE! I had a Zombie as my first drink, and it is very well presented and STRONG! I prefer,my first drink at an establishment to be strong cause then I can lighten it up later. Then I had a Rum Barrel, not as strong, but well presented and delicious! Note: Prices for drinks are worth every dime! They have a small food menu, but everything on the menu looked delicious, but I did not eat there. This speakeasy is attached to a British pub which I went for food after. (Review to come) All-in-all great spot to come and have a drink you are well treated, appreciated and just a fun experience! I will DEFINITELY come back here for a delicious drink and DEFINITELY will try something off the food menu. I'll just make sure next time I won't go there after a big breakfast lol! The hostess was pleasant when arriving and presented herself with exceptional sleek style. Someone brought me a palate cleanser drink which was rhubarb and lemongrass water. It was smooth and refreshing. The server guided me through the cocktail menu which was an exploration all its very own. I choose the cocktail called Opposite Day- Japanese whiskey, sweet Sauvignon Blanc, salted wine and roasted beets- twist on a whiskey sour but flipped! Oysters were light and fresh and the juice in the shell was precision clean. It really pops the flavors of the oyster. Yellowtail jalapeño handroll- it is designed to be eaten similar to a taco. The yellowtail was superbly fresh, the jalapeno was a mild touch to accompany the dish and didn't try to be the star. and the homemade soy sauce didn't over power the fish. Duck leg finished with a Szechuan spice and finished a pear au jus. The duck fell off the bone and was bursting with a complex blend of elegant flavors. As you check is presented they served you the tea of the day which was Hibiscus citrus Japanese tea in the most sophisticated teapot sitting on Japanese bamboo, which was a nice touch in the meal Upbeat modern music vibe Helpful, friendly weight staff that explains every item in detail as you order it, and when it brought to the table.

The entire dining area and booth is now Tanto and they have themed cocktail menus that changes seasonally. They have a small bites menu which includes handrolls! Service was good, attentive and we got a nice view of the bar where the bartenders were amazing! They were shaving down ice for the cocktails. Very cool. The seasonal menu has already changed, so I am not sure of the drinks we got lol both were fun and just okay.. mine came in a cone shape ceramic and very tart? The food was pretty good - some hits and misses. The caviar service was good but came with thin chips that break. I would recommend small pancakes. The sea bream hand rolls were good and the chirashi was very good. The karaage was good but the chive aioli was incredible. Overall cool concept but would love a bigger entree options on their menu. This would open up more patrons to visit who don't want to drop $500 for sushi

(I am missing the items we ordered, so I'll have to come back here and add them later, but all that matters is four people had completely different entrées, and we were all very pleased.) How pleased were we? So pleased that, a mere 7 days later, we're about to drive 1.25 hours to have another meal there, this time with our extended family of 14. The host greeted this warmly and had us promptly seated. Our server, Danielle, was magnificent! She attended to us very well providing excellent recommendations. I also want to give a shout out to the fellow who came and prepared my pasta carbonara tableside. (Alas, I will have to come back and put his name in because I don't have it handy at the moment.)

One of the main ingredients in this cheesy skillet of goodness is pepperoni. My husband asked that the chef leave that ingredient out of the recipe due to my recipe allergy reaction. The waiter did a commendable job communicating to the kitchen about my dietary needs. Unfortunately, our dip came off with pepperoni and I nearly devoured it down. The waiter was super apologetic and wrapped it a carry home container and reordered a new one. We were so full from the soft, tasty bread, that we didn't touch the appetizer. For dinner, I ordered the most divine homemade pasta and beef rib dish. Whoever was back there cooking the dish, you have amazing taste, talent, and skill. My husband ordered the stuffed shrimp and beef fat potatoes. The shrimp were jumbo and filled with a hearty breading that was packed with flavor. The potatoes were rich in flavor and had a buttery texture. He would definitely order this dish again! Our server went out of his way to refill our drinks and attend to everything we were requesting. As a bonus, he ordered two pistachio and chocolate chips on his tab for the dilemma we encountered with the appetizer. I thought that it was a genuine gesture. You don't see that happening much anymore. When our cannolis arrived, I was pumped trying one of my favorite desserts Due to full bellies, we brought the dessert home. When I tried the cannolis at home I unpleasantly surprised at the taste. The cannoli cream was virtually absent of flavor, smoothness, and mascarpone. It is unclear what the my replaced it with for the fillings Overall, our experience was great! We will definitely make an appearance again!

Unfortunately, this visit was a major disappointment. We chose to sit in the speakeasy side, expecting a unique and elevated experience. Instead, the ambiance was extremely disappointing and fell far short of what we expected. The atmosphere simply wasn't what we had anticipated and did not add anything special to the evening. The service was lackluster throughout the night. Our server was pleasant, but we didn't see her nearly enough. Water refills were difficult to get, and we often found ourselves waiting until she eventually returned to our table before we could ask for anything. The food was equally disappointing. Dishes did not arrive together, leaving some people eating while others waited. My wife's entrée arrived cold and had to be sent back. The pork belly appetizer sounded promising, but the potatoes underneath were cold when it reached the table. The drinks were okay, but nothing memorable. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that we brought friends based on how highly we spoke of our first visit. Instead of confirming our recommendation, the evening left us disappointed and wishing we had experienced the restaurant we remembered. We're giving three stars because we've had a much better experience here before and know the restaurant is capable of more. However, on this visit, the ambiance, service, and food quality simply did not meet expectations. I had to reduce to three stars.
