When you simply HAVE to have Mac & Cheese, and just happen to be in the Lakeland area, I HIGHLY…read morerecommend Mac Shack and their Mac Chicken ($10) with Buffalo Chicken. Do not forget to add the Ranch dressing. Trust me. This amazing combination of flavors will leave you, quite literally, speechless. As an added bonus, this will re-heat like a dream...IF you manage to leave behind a single crumb after that first bite (doubtful). I was impressed, particularly, by the tasty chicken. Not even remotely dry...just perfect! Best damn $10 I've spent on Mac & Cheese EVER.

Mac Shack is a food truck serving macaroni and cheese to the the Tampa Bay and Lakeland area…read more Formerly known as "Just the Goods", this food truck rebranded itself last February. All of the mac & cheese entrees from Mac Shack cost $8 to $9 and are accompanied with a small side of collard greens. The portion of mac & cheese served is HUGE and can either be shared with another person or saved as leftovers for a second meal. I love extra cheesy mac and cheese and can confirm that they do not skimp on the cheese at Mac Shack! We ordered the "Mac Hammy" which included cheddar cheese mac & cheese and diced ham. This doesn't look like the most sophisticated mac and cheese, but it tasted damn good. We also ordered the "Pig Mac" which included braised pork, granny smith apples and sriracha. After a few bites of the Mac Hammy I couldn't fathom even trying a bite of the Pig Mac because I was too full. The next day I was searching for leftovers, but I guess this dish was too good to share and my husband had already brought the leftovers to work. Would definitely order from this food truck again!

I'll start by saying I am in a Matcha obsession phase. And not your chain coffee shop matcha....I…read morelove a small mom & pop coffee shop because it always tastes better. Anyway..... I was looking for matcha and stumbled upon a picture of matcha on Pressed 25's Facebook. It looked so delicious people said it was AI. I am here to say IT IS NOT!!! the area the small trailer sits in is shaded and comfy. The woman who was running it was friendly and made our order quickly. She also told us that everything was naturally sweetened. The drinks came out just as gorgeous as Facebook! They tasted delicious! 10/10 I am GOING BACK!

Great new coffee truck start-up in Lakeland, serving items that are gluten-free, keto-friendly,…read morediabetic-friendly. They make their own almond milk & also serve oat milk & lactose-free whole milk. They serve craft coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, mini-donuts and soon, mini bagels. Prices are on par with other coffee shops in the area & cheaper than the chains. Owner goes the extra mile to translate her mini donuts to carbs & calories as well as to explain choices in healthier sugars. They keep up with their FB page for locations, including having some stationary locations so you can count on finding them. They're also showing up at local markets on weekends. I look forward to them continuing to grow in their craft and develop a strong & consistent business model for the alt coffee & healthier eating industry!
