Amazing place! Great service and very tasty. Menu is typical of Vietnamese restaurants. They have meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. If you've never had Vietnamese Iced Coffee, HIGHLY recommend it. They make it just like every Vietnamese restaurant and it's the best iced coffee you'll can get. I ordered an iced coffee, eggrolls, and bo luc lac (shaking beef) for eating in and another coffee and a banh mi to go. The food was so good in the restaurant that I forgot to take pictures. Very tasty and this was a great hidden gem in Lakeland. I went with coworkers as a party of six. Menu clearly states parties of 6+ have tip automatically included. It was and I just wish I could've tipped on top. Place was nice and spacey but casual. You can talk and have conversation. Not a quiet, "upscale" kind of place but would still be great for a date night. Plenty of parking because it's in a huge shopping plaza. Price point is pretty good considering how other places are priced. Overall, if you like Vietnamese food (or have never tried it), this is a great spot to check out. Highly recommend and love finding this spot in my city! EDIT/UPDATE: The food and service is still 5 stars. I took a star off because I found out the tips don't go to the servers. It's probably the first bun bo hue I have liked outside of Vietnam, although it is admittedly not as spicy as the native version. I tried the Egg Roll and the Special Combination Banh Mi. The Egg Roll was airy, perfectly crisp and filled with crisp cabbage, onions and meaty tender pork. An addictive appetizer. The Special Combination Banh Mi was phenomenal. Soft bread with a lightly crisp crust was filled with tender flavorful pork, creamy pate, cool crisp cucumbers and onions, lightly sweet bbq and fresh cilantro. Banh Mi!!! Was not expecting to find this place in Lakeland. Not sure why, but it just felt out of place. Walked in and there were a couple patrons eating Pho. It was definitely just as busy as I thought it would be... not very. That being said, I hope more people try this place because they offer some great food! It was pretty quiet and they could use some music to improve the ambiance and possibly attract more people. The Banh Mi was spectacular. Classic Vietnamese sandwich. I should have got some pho broth to dip it in! The French roll was fresh and the pork was tender. I wish it had a little bit more cilantro, but I think I like cilantro more than most. One of the better Banh Mi sandwiches I've had, which is understandable because this is a true Vietnamese restaurant. My only complaint is that they served my sandwich several minutes before the dish that the other person in my party ordered. It was kind of weird, but I imagine they are still trying to get the flow of things down. This place felt "newer" like it was opened in the last year. That was just a small issue though... I just moved to town, and I always love a grate Pho when the weather terms cool. I was not disappointed at all, & the portions were extremely generous. The service was prompt, and the food came out super fast. All of the meals we had had featured fresh cut vegetables that were a true compliment to the meals that we enjoyed. When I asked about the menu, the waiter gave us great recommendations and explained enough for us to make a very good decision. I will definitely be coming back. This business is the former "Pho Loc Tho", rebranded as a pho & sandwich shop. However it has a bar, a bakery and a large Asian menu as well as boba drinks & Vietnamese Coffee. They are working hard for local business (in the strip mall with Hobby Lobby. They are friendly & speak English (well most of them). I enjoyed quite a few pastries and iced coffee with them. I also had their orange chicken another visit that was very delicious. Also tried a great steak banh mi sandwich. They are speedy and food served hot. Prices are reasonable. People are really sleeping on this place, because it was great! In the quest to find a new vietnamese spot as a new resident, I narrowed it down to one dish: Bahn Xeo. A lot of places are known to carry your various Pho and boba tea but I wanted a place that provides that and a variety of more options. Bahn Xèo is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes but most places I have gone to tend to make it soggy, and lack flavor. As we sat down, the restaurant is nice and big, not crowded, and very clean. The booths were suitable and even a fluffy girl like me, sat comfortably. The server was really kind and funny! He made an effort to interact with everyone in the table including my kids. The service was on point and the gentlemen provided suggestions, asked questions, and reiterated our order to confirm the food items we ordered. He also asked if we wanted to wait for certain items or pair it with the entrees. With a quickness, everything came out hot and fresh. We were a family of three and had quite a bit to order (which he also provided suggestions to make the meal cheaper, which I appreciated). The Bahn Xeo was crispy and fresh accompanied by plenty meat, bean sprouts and other veggies (I asked for no shrimp). The egg rolls were fried to a golden brown delicious crispy and tasted fresh paired with the tangy fish sauce for a harmonious blend. The pho was very flavorful and had a great size. The prices were great and allowed us to enjoy the food without breaking the bank at all. Lastly the lychee boba green tea was made with just the right amount of sweetness, and with well-cooked boba (sometimes other locations have given me rock hard or crunchy, undercooked boba). Everything came out great. I was genuinely impressed. Oh and they also have dessert and a bar, so if you're looking to get a cocktail, you should definitely stop by! read more

Another great visit to Dalat town. This place has easily become my favorite restaurant in Lakeland. On my latest visits I've discovered their wings specifically the fish sauce wings. When you order them they do take a little longer to come out because the cook them to order so if you also order pho expect the pho to come out way sooner but trust me they are worth the wait. Dalat Town is a hidden gem in Lakeland. From the outside it blends into the strip mall where it is located. They have big stickers with pictures of food covering the windows. But inside it is decorated Very nicely. The food And the drinks are all very delicious and made with care. There are things on the menu here that you can't get elsewhere in Lakeland. I loved everything that I tried so far and can't wait to get something new next visit. I ordered the rare beef pho and it was so good, broth flavor was fantastic! I asked my waitress for a suggestion on an appetizer and she said the pork and shrimp spring rolls and they were also great, the peanut dipping sauce was the best! Tonight I was craving a banh mi sandwich, and let me tell you... BEST one I've ever had (and I've tried a lot). Pork was really tender, veggies were fresh, seasoning/sauce was so flavorful and the bread was perfect! I almost wanted to order another one to take home! I did want to try one of their danishes, but the whole case was sold out both nights, which I'm guessing means they are really good! Good with a tasty sauce. I would have liked some bean sprouts in the roll for crunch...minor criticism. Had the chicken pho on the recommendation of my server, Liz. Broth was clear, clean, really good flavor. The rice noodles were plentiful and bouncy. Came with a plate of extra bean sprouts, basil, and lime. All excellent additions. Hoisin and sriracha available too, at the table. Treated myself to the mango sticky rice to go. Did not disappoint. Definitely worth it. One of the highlights was my server, Liz. This young lady is a BOSS. She made sure i had everything I needed all while keeping the dining room running. She was even quality-checking the to-go orders to make they went out correctly.
