I found this place on Apple Maps while searching for "noodles" on the way to the outlet. The reviews looked good, but maybe that was true years ago , today's meal was just okay. We ordered chicken teriyaki, the chicken and salmon combo, a kids chicken teriyaki ($2 less but no veggies and overcooked chicken), and crabmeat Rangoon. Everything was overcooked, the soup and sauce spilled in the bag, and the salmon was dry and too salty ...not worth the extra cost. The food only had decent flavor when dipped in the sauce. I read the hype on Yelp and decided to try their food during lunch hours while I was in the area. I didn't find the food to be better when compared to others in the Lutz/Wesley Chapel area. My personal opinion, you get less bang for your buck. Subbing rice for noodles was a surcharge for both the kid or adult plate and it was wasn't a lot of food. The flavor is average as well. The service was great. No complaints there! They do have an extensive boba tea menu. I didn't try anything but maybe that's something work coming back to experience in the future. read more

This is a walk up and order place however they will bring your food to the table should you choose to dine in. Upon walking in we were greeted and he was so friendly. Explained the menu and helped me with my tea order. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with fried rice and a grapefruit green tea and miso soup. Hubs got the hibachi chicken with miso soup. Tea was good, refreshing. Miso soup was good, lots of flavor. The winner of the table was my teriyaki chicken. Had great flavor, was fresh and loved the veggies that were included. This is a solid staple. We are in this area twice a week. I love Asian cuisine so this was a must try. This was my second visit and two weeks apart. The first time was a dine in meal with the family. I had the Hibachi with shrimp and salmon. The serving size was perfect. Unfortunately we witness a couple who seemed to be regulars there order get messed up more than once as they dined in but the waiter/cashier made the effort to get it right but I think he should've just had it reordered. Nevertheless fast forward to two weeks later I decide to come in solo for dinner. It was a Friday around 630ish place was not busy at all. But like last time tends to pick up. I can tell its a popular spot as I sat waiting for me food this lady goes straight to the back and the guy at the register let's her know her order was not fully complete. Then I watched another person come in get her take out and say "See you next week" This time I ordered the Teriyaki Shrimp with fried rice and Crab Ragoons. Man it was pleasing to my palate. I felt like they gave me more food this time as I was not able to finish it all like last time but last time I also didn't order the Ragoons so maybe that's why. Food fresh and hot. I love the dipping sauce. I have had my share and the sweet and sour sauce at other places is like a red syrupy to sweet sauce. This sauce was yellow and like a light flavor of apricot or some fruit but it was good. I don't usually care for that white sauce at other places but this place was different. My most favorite is that ginger dressing on the salad! It was popping 2 weeks ago and the same that night. I LOVE anything ginger especially in my food. Definitely need extra for my meal next time. This restaurant is Asian fusion restaurant. Affordable pricing to all people for lunch and dinner. Interior is not attractive, but the food is good. The combo at lunch special has included a drink. I got the grilled shrimp with sautéed mixed veggies with noodles. The grilled shrimp was perfectly grilled with slightly burnt edge great for the taste. The second dish is the grilled beef with fried rice and sautéed veggies. The beef qualities is good for lunch. Overall our experience is good. Definitely good to return for more. read more

I went here for boba, asked the worker if they have dairy free options for the milk tea. He said "Uhh I can do that for you." It literally tasted like it was just made with water instead of milk, and my boyfriend got a regular boba and his tasted fine. I don't know if mine was made with water, but the fact that I wasn't told what options they had and how it tasted really seems like it was. read more

This place is good! The staff was friendly and it was a welcoming environment. The only thing hindering me from a 5 star rating is the portion of food, and taste of the noodles. Personally, I've had better noodles and the steak was kind of bland. Other than that the vegetables were cooked extremely well and had a lot of flavor. I was not very hungry, and the price was not particular cheap, so I ordered a beef teriyaki lunch special. It included a can of soda. I got a mango juice. The food was delicious- plenty of tender beef slices and I believed the chef used strong fire stir-fry technique. The edge of the beef was fried till crunchy, which I like. Plenty of vegetable accompanied the beef. Two scoops of fried rice were also quite good- it got enough flavor, but not overwhelming by soy sauce. Decent enough service and the ambience, seating area was not fancy. Yet it was clean and acceptable. Overall, the food is delicious enough for me to come back again. read more

The guy creating the orders was not too professionally dressed and had a ton of tats but he was nice. I got the Dynamite Bowl 2 scoops tempura shrimp, cucumber, avocado, green onion, mixed greens, carrot, wakame seaweed, masago, tempura flakes, and spicy mayo sauce for $15.95 which is a bit higher than average but the serving size was large and the dish was tasty. Ayoki's ambiance has an old school run down 80s vibe that makes this spot not ideal for a date. There's brown wood paneling on the walls and nasty old brown tile, ugly uncomfortable brown chairs, and no booth seating. The restaurant could use a serious renovation. The lighting is also bright and not dim or romantic. There's a lot of more modern poke spots with nicer interior decor that cost less than Ayoki. The ordering and service timing was a little screwy; I think the restaurant needs a thoughtful reconfiguration to match what it wants to be... either a sit down or a market with seating. I prefer table service which is appropriate when you request a tips when first ordering at the PoS. We ordered a Dynamite Bowl that came with three delicious shrimp tempura that were DYNOMITE!!! We also got two custom ahi tuna bowls that were really good too all the available toppings were noticeably great. I'd come back for these. Not a fan of disposable dishes and forks though. I think the quality of the steak and the fried rice in the Hibachi were average. The veggies were good but ask for Yum Yum sauce. Mushroom Soup was good. Pricey hot hibachi entree overall served in to-go containers...you know what I'm thinking folks....you know. The cheese wontons were also decent with a unique (to us) dipping sauce with what tasted like apple cider vinegar added. Pricey. The price is on the high side considering the majority volume of all dishes was some form of rice. Staff was a mix with one gal particularly pleasant, Overall, I feel like a grade of "B" would be appropriate which isn't bad in the local Poke market. I'm glad we went. They have things they can improve on to be market leaders because the key ingredients and flavors are there. If I could offer suggestions, I'd say to put some more effort into the restaurant and do real full service for folks that want it. So happy to have a good poke place in the Land O Lakes area. I've tried a couple of other places and they don't give you much of the protein but the price would seem otherwise. Although there are booths that you could utilize for dinner service, I prefer to takeout. We love the poke bowls! They are fresh and bountiful! You can select how you want to build your bowl with an order sheet and requests are taken with a smile. If you become a regular you can ask that they keep your order.
