Wish we had time to actually eat here, but grabbed our usual drinks to go-super yummy jasmine milk tea with boba. Cute place and friendly service!

We saw this spot many times and finally decided to try it for early dinner and every single thing was delicious. The teas are refreshing and the food hot and made to order. Service was excellent and we felt appreciated for being there. The music and eating area was just right. Perfect we will definitely come back and order more items on the menu.

Happy to finally have had a chance to pop into Sweet Krunch. This is a counter service chain and very affordable. While casual the interiors were very clean and the staff nice and helpful. My family ordered 2 flavors of chicken which they served with a labeled divider to keep the flavors separate which was honestly perfect for my spice averse Daughter. We selected pickled radish as our side and got a packed full container of perfectly seasoned cubed radish, so refreshing. I ordered the shrimp bibimbap which had a generous portion of shrimp alongside the fried egg- they really packed the bowl quite full and I found it to be a great value for the price and quality of ingredients. Lastly, we all enjoyed a boba tea- they have a good selection of fruit, milk and slushes with a variety of jellies and popping boba as well as brown sugar boba. Definitely worth a pop in for a casual dinner night.

First time trying sweet Krunch i went in blind and was not dissatisfied! It's Korean chicken wings tastes really good and super krunchy. We got an 8 piece wing half spicy and half sweet chili. The fries were fresh and krunchy and they tasted really good. The drinks were the best boba I've had in while! The brown sugar added to the taro and really made it stand out! Will definitely be going again. Nice little restaurants with seating area and the workers were really nice.

It's a very tasty lunch option when shopping in Wesley Chapel/New Tampa. Don't pass this one up if you love crispy Korean fried chicken. It's in the Shoppes at New Tampa off of Bruce B. Downs Blvd. There's plenty of parking despite being so close to Publix. The seating area inside is somewhat limited. The plushies around the counter are cute. They have boba drinks. I didn't get to try any of them. It's known more for the KFC, but it was the japchae that was the star of the show. I ordered it with bulgogi. Best decision ever! It was loaded with veggies & meat. I've only had japchae 3 times at other Korean restaurants in the bay area. This one is my favorite (by far). I'd go back just for this dish. The soy garlic fried chicken strips were good. I got the lunch special. I love that it's so crispy. The crispiest I've had in the area. Just choose wisely on the type of chicken. I usually get wings or drumsticks. The strips are white meat chicken, and somewhat dry. Maybe because it's double-fried white meat. That's the only negative. I would get the same flavor again, but in a different form. The French fries were great. The service was excellent! We were greeted right away and offered a menu. The menu has too many items to list, and many that I want to try next time. The portion sizes are very generous. The prices are affordable. I wish we had a place like this in Brandon.

About 3.5 stars. Compare to Land O Lake store, this one does not make the cut. Although we are happy they open one closer to me. But I like the other one better. We got the pork belly Bao. This is good to my taste. We also got the Japchae. The taste is no there. I think is lack of sesame oil. We also got the popcorn chicken. This is really let us down. Overall just average.

The Korean fried wings were bomb.com!! My teammates and I found this spot while shopping at Publix, came back the next day to try the wings because the store front looked appealing. We were treated by a friendly smile and warm service. After looking over the menu I wanted to try everything but stuck with the wings. I would love to come back and try a bulogi bun or sandwich! Everything was what we looked for in a place, so much we told our other teammates to come by and try for themselves!

Menu for sweet krunch! Super quick excellent service! Cant wait to eat

The wings are fantastic! Novio and I went because we wanted some bim bim bap. The bim bim bap was just okay, we wouldn't order it again. But we would be back for wings! Sweet krunch is right because thats exactly what their wings taste like, a sweet crunch, not too spicy but can be spicy for those that like spice. Also, very affordable. Novio and I spent less than $50 which is amazing for a date night, especially in this economy. Service was excellent as well! The place is super casual in a strip mall by a karate studio but overall if you want a quick cheap date, great place to go. 4 stars because the nim bim bap wasnt great, but everything else was.

Fried chicken. I got the M size of wings and drumstick mix with half soy garlic and half spicy.
    Kasey M.

Service was very fast and they even store the drinks in a fridge instead of leaving it on the counter like most places. The chicken was very crispy. This is the second time i ordered and the first time was way spicier which i wish this time was the same heat level.

I initially tried this restaurant last year after it opened for a few months and thus giving them time to get things up and running. Food was overcooked at that time. I decided to give them another shot this past weekend and unfortunately I can't recommend this place to anyone. Once again, the chicken used in the chicken sandwich and the chicken strips were severely over fried. We couldn't eat most of it because we physically couldn't chew through it. The fries once again were overcooked and many had a crunch like you'd experience when eating a potato chip. I'm not sure how they continuously over fry their staple items, but it wasn't a fluke the first time around. Otherwise, our order was ready before the estimated pick up time and staff was courteous. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the poor quality of food.

The food was delicious, the service excellent, the atmosphere was great. We order our food and stayed to eat there. The staff was friendly gave us a family like treatment. The food was cooked fresh. We ordered fried chicken steam buns, a beef bulgogi sandwich with fries, a fried chicken sandwich with fries, a lychee tea and mango tea everything was seasoned well and fresh. I will definitely return here when I'm in the area and recommend you check it out as well.

This is the chicken terryaki! Enough for 2 grown adults lol

Extremely good chicken wings. All flavors are bomb. So crunchy, moist and flavorful. Very hearty but then again it's fried chicken. The wings are worth the drive.

In a somewhat run down looking strip mall, the small restaurant was simple, but showing K-music videos on a TV. Unfortunately I couldn't see it from my seat, but I'll change that next visit! Our server was polite, helpful, and attentive. We ordered a ridiculous amount of food since we drove 45m to try it, so had a Kimchi Pajeon, Kimbap, Soon Tofu, and Veggie Fried Rice. The pancake was DELICIOUS-super flavorful and chock full of veggies. I did not care for the Kimbap, only because it had less flavor and was a little more dry than the other items, but it tasted very fresh. The Soon Tofu was spicy and full of flavor. It came with a huge heaping of rice in a cute covered dish to keep it hot - I'm ordering these things for home! The veggie fried rice, for which we opted no egg, was also fantastic, but we ended up taking ,ost of it and the pancake home for leftovers. We were also served Ban Chan - side dishes, of small tastes of seasoned veggies such as bean sprouts, eggplant, cucumbers, broccoli, radish, and more. It was all amazing. Sadly, we had no room for anything else, but I will definitely be back as soon as possible. SO worth the drive and expense!

They were also out of the crab egg roll, out of sweet tea, and out of lettuce in which we like to wrap the bulgogi. We ordered mandu, it was good but a little bit doughy because of the wrap they use, not as crispy as we would expect. I ordered the dolsot bibimbop. Mine came out first and was sizzling hot. No complaints, the egg had a runny yolk which means it was not overcooked like many I have had in the past. The bibimbop sauce is delicious with just the right amount of kick. Waitress brought out banchans, there were six different types, pickled eggplant, nori, broccoli, kimchi, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. Son ordered pork bulgogi. The plate was heaping with pork, and the sauce was nice and thick and stuck to the pork. Spouse ordered beef bulgogi and it took about 10 minutes for his to come out after our son and I had our meals. The plate was heaping, but spouse said the beef was a little bland, but some of the bibimbop sauce took care that. Son and spouse took leftovers with them. We were kind of disappointed in the items they did not have, but the lady waiting on us was nice and we realize they are a small business and when things are busy, it is easy to run out. The interior was a little dark, did not go to the restroom so cannot comment on the cleanliness but what we did see looked clean.

They specialize in dishes like Jampong, a spicy seafood dish originally invented by a Chinese-Japanese chef in Nagasaki, Japan, who used leftover seafood from sushi in noodles. This dish made its way to Korea and became Koreanized, becoming spicier and evolving into the Jampong noodle we have today. Jajangmyun is also one of the most popular comfort foods among Koreans, just like its ancestor Zhajangmien, which is a popular comfort food in Beijing, China. Korean Jajangmyun differs from Chinese Zhajangmien as the sauce is thicker, sweeter, and has more vegetable, meat, and seafood toppings. Gyodong also makes some incredible Koream-Chinese fusion fried pork dishes known as Tangsooyook using chewy brown rice, and they are just as good as the great Korean-Chinese places I've tried in LA's Korea Town or Seoul, Korea. Varied options to choose from for your malatang. Service is also very friendly and helpful as well. The things that need improvement though. Since all of the ingredients for your malatang are by weight, you can to choose the ingredients yourself from the open buffet. When I went, unfortunately, several containers from the buffet had moldy ingredients and discolored meat. This is rather concerning since this is a health hazard, meaning that the ingredients aren't being kept at the right temperature. Thankfully, when I told the server, they quickly threw out the bad ingredients and cleaned the containers. But I really hope more attention is paid to the state of the ingredients and sauce bar. The guobaorou, while ok in flavor, was too heavy on the batter. The meat slices were so thin compared to the thick coating of batter, which made some pieces a little unpleasant to eat. Overall, a mixed bag experience for me. I truly hope they can succeed. If they bring consistency to their dishes and make sure ingredients are closely monitored and kept fresh, they will be good to go. I hope the next time I come, the experience is even better :)

The pay by weight, customized, buffet style selections, have some great noodle, ttoek, protein, and vegetable options. I always put too much in my bowl! Each individual serving in placed on a personal flame burner to keep warm. I've written entire articles on Korean style mala, so feel free to ask me any questions in the comments. This chain hails from Korea. What makes Korean style mala different than the original chinese mala? Firstly, ma 麻 = numbing + la 辣 =spicy. Unfortunately, the term "mala" is used when food is often just spicy and not numbing. Here, the mala is sweeter, but still thankfully has both spicy and numbing flavor. The sauces are smooth here; not containing entire pieces of chili pepper, peppercorn, garlic, ginger that is typically in mala. This makes for an easier eating experience. There are also spice grades, and cream (rose) versions. Featured items: 1 麻辣香鍋 마라샹궈 Mala Xiang Guo - Mala dry pot, customized. 2 鍋包肉 돈등심 꿔바로우 Pork Guobarou - Thin sliced pork, deep fried crispy in rice flour batter. Covered in sweet sour sauce.
