This place does not disappoint. We got the Chicken Fried Rice and The Four Seasons, and both dishes were excellent quality. The proteins they use are great quality and you can tell they are using fresh vegetables. They're crisp and perfectly cooked. You get a lot of food for the price you pay as well. I was so disappointed. I chose this store bc of the ratings. I've never seen rice like this. It was little short stubby grains of rice, must have been some cheap rice or old. The chicken wings were fried in old burnt grease. You could smell it as soon as you opened the container, just pure disgusting. My husband is still trying to find the beef amidst all the broccoli. My husband and I decided to get take out from Hong Kong last night prior to the rain coming in. We figured it would be easier to do pick-up as we were in the neighborhood and not necessarily wanting anyone to drive to us! We ordered chicken and broccoli, which came with a side of pork fried rice. My husband absolutely loved the flavor and finished every bite. The portion size was huge and enough to fill him up, which most places don't provide enough food for that. I ordered the beer chop suey with added shrimp and it was everything I was looking for in a Sunday night meal. It came with white rice, but I ordered an extra side of shrimp fried rice. The meal was very tasty and delicious. It was super reasonably priced and enough even to bring for lunch. We ordered some egg rolls as well. Those were just the bit of the fried meal we wanted! I can't tell you how excited I was when my husband called and found out they were back open after all of the social distancing requirements. This is our favorite Chinese restaurant. We ordered sesame Chicken, pork fried rice, shrimp and lobster sauce, beef lo me in, shrimp egg rolls... our eyes were bigger than our stomach because we have been craving it for weeks! left over Chinese is amazing!! We love everything. They also always give us extra egg rolls! The people are very friendly! They always get our order correct! It is a family run restaurant and they are wonderful! We LOVE Chinese food! Every time we travel for my husbands work we look I to finding the best Chinese restaurant. Well after minutes of looking I found Hong Kong! I AM SO GLAD WE ORDERED WITH OR FIRST FIND! The food is delicious! Great taste, well temperature and big amounts of food for a great price! We ordered Pork fried rice, chicken Lo Mein, Sweet and sour chicken (so well breaded ) and beef broccoli and some egg rolls SO BOMB! Great experience! This place is a hidden gem. It was hard to find their menu online, and they don't have a website, but they should! I attached the menu photos on here, hopefully it helps someone. They are completely barricaded in behind plastic shutters, it is a fantastic covid precaution and we found the inside very clean. Staff was so friendly and even gave us free donuts to promote their coupon without us even asking. The food was all so delicious, the house lo mein was our favorite! There was meat in every bite. Got out of work after 10am on a Saturday and was craving Chinese so I searched "open" and found one on the way home... so pleasant when they picked up the phone for a late night order 45 minutes before close. Gave me options. Ready in 10 minutes. Hot and fresh. And one of the best egg rolls, even after I saved it for after eating my meal... more than 30 minutes after I picked up my order. Yumm yumm! When we moved around this area we wanted a quick cheap Chinese food and this is the spot! The employees are very nice and helpful. I always order the sweet and sour chicken with the pork rice. Love the breading on the chicken and I like how they serve the sauce on the side so that you can decide how much you want. I've ordered from here several times before and it was always really good. But this time I was not impressed, something was changed. The food looked good but it's now dry, tough, hard (chicken)....like it was old or frozen for a long time. It arrived and was room temperature. It was not enjoyable. Also I ordered a large sweet and sour chicken which used to come with a good amount of sweet and sour sauce. This time I got a little cup which ran out fast and I don't use that much. Now I still have over half the order of chicken but no sweet and sour sauce. The chicken in thar dish and the bourbon chicken were tough, dried out and hard. I'm not sure what changed or if this was just a bad order but until it goes back to being moist, tender and delicious I am apprehensive about ordering again and I spend about $100 just for me alone when I order. Food taste great to me and love the sesame chicken and the crab rangoon. They are always busy especially on fridays and saturdays so that says something there. They have alot to chose from and the family who owns the resturant are very nice people. Its especially nice because if you order over $20.00 you can get a 2 free egg rolls with your order and if you spend over $30 you get a free order of the crab rangoon or an order of their sugar donut. read more

Don't be fooled by the positive reviews. This place has barely mediocre food and a lackluster atmosphere. It seems like the owner is either absent or doesn't care anymore. Decor is old and faded. Walls are peeling. Nothing but a few bare tables and posters urging you to vote for the restaurant in some contest. Generals chicken was bland. It was just breaded chicken with sticky sweet sauce. No peppers or chiles. Fried rice was odd, as if pre-made, didn't seem like fresh ingredients. Eggroll was previously frozen. The only difference between dine in and take out is that they don't put the styrofoam container in a bag. Service was good though. She deserves to be in a better place. read more

I have ordered from Hong Hong on and off since I moved to North Pointe in 2009. The food is always consistent and on-par for most NY style Chinese take-away style restaurant. Their delivery is generally quick and always friendly on the phone. They will sometimes throw in extras for larger orders, which is always nice. You're also asked if you want your sauce on the side for some dishes - this is great because your food doesn't get soggy before it arrives. I highly recommend the cold noodles with sesame sauce (#12), chicken with curry sauce (#66), honey chicken (#S15), egg rolls (#2), and their hot and sour soup (#20). read more

I took a chance based on the reviews and I was pleased to find them accurate: slow delivery but well worth the wait. I ordered late night on a Friday( after 10) and everything tasted great. The rice is not greasy and they will make it how you ask. I gave 4 stars because I was so sleepy when I got it I ended up having most of it as a late weekend breakfast...delicious to me and if you need silverware you must request it.....another reason I left off a star. I spent 20.00 bucks on rice and chicken ..GAH dude just throw in the plastic ware. Way better than the other more pricey joint in New Tampa. read more

Best Chinese food in North Tampa.

Food came about 20 minutes later than expected and my meal (Kung Pao shrimp) came with only 6 small shrimp. The rest of it was only vegetables. Only saving grace was the egg roll and I can get that from somewhere else with better food. They also forgot my drink I ordered. read more

Good food. My favorite is the hunan beef, it actually taste like beef. Delivery is slow but it's worth it.

My go-to place in this area. Not like NY but still pretty good. Love the fried dumplings. Haven't had anything here that I didn't like.
