I finally decided to give China Taste another try, and I'm really glad I did! I ordered the Chicken in Garlic Sauce and the Hunan Beef -- both were generous portions and packed with flavor. I'm happy to say I'll definitely be coming back, whether to reorder these dishes or explore more of their menu. Would recommend! read more

Food is not good. Customer service manager really did not care so I will be taking my business else where. Do not see combination of average Chinese food and terrible customer service being in business very long read more

One of the best neighborhood places for carry out. The staff is always friendly and food is always good. Nothing fancy inside, basically carry out. Tonight I had General Tso chicken and it was outstanding. Egg roll was good. One of my go to spots!! read more

China Taste - C20. General Tso's Chicken Combo Platter - Chinese Near Me - Lutz, Florida

If you want good, simple food, this is the place. Plan to take out. There is seating but almost everyone is taking out. I think they have everything you expect on a Chinese menu for takeout. Portions are always large. Least expensive way to eat without cooking yourself. read more

Wasn't impressed at all with my order last night from China Taste in Lutz. Disclaimer this is based off of an order through Ubereats, I have no idea what the location looks like or how they operate. Scary, I know right? My order consisted of house lomein and a Pupu platter which is something I always order from any Chinese spot to test the quality of several different menu items at once. The Pupu platter came with 2 ribs, beef teriyaki, chicken wings, fried shrimp, shrimp toast, Krab Rangoon, and pork egg rolls. The wings and Krab Rangoon were the only appetizers I actually enjoyed. The house special lomein was pretty tasty, but I doubt I'd order from an establishment if I barely enjoyed the other menu items they offer. read more

I am on a quest to find the best general tso tofu and so far nothing had really come close to, or beat, my usual go to spot- but China Taste changed that by providing a pretty decent tofu. Other places I've gone to usually have a problem with making the sauce too sweet- happy to report China Taste does not have this problem! I was also pleasantly surprised by how small the tofu was cut. The pieces were perfectly sized and very uniform, which is ideal for me, so honestly extra points. My only issue with it was that it was more expensive than my go to spot's tofu, but it's not like you're gonna be breaking bank y'know. So while I do not think I have found the best general tso tofu quite yet, I think this was a pretty solid contender. Besides the food, I really liked the interior of the restaurant. Usually other Chinese places I go to don't have like an actual seating area, but they had a whole little dining area and it looked really nice. The workers were really efficient/fast, and the girl who took my order was polite! So no complaints on the service. All in all, I would probably go back and I do recommend if you want some good tofu. read more

Never gets the orders wrong, crispy. Hot and delicious general Tso. Egg rolls are money spare ribs are the best version of classic Chinese Take Out. Most dishes are right on the money here read more

Just moved to the area, was pleased to try out a new place, ordered pork fried rice, and beef broccoli, I don't know if they thought I was. The type that wouldn't mind or tell the difference between eating something stale or bad, but being from nyc I can honestly say to the guy that toke my order. How dare you give me or anyone suck an awful display of Chinese food. The worst I ever tried. How disappointing that it's less then ten mins away and have to drive further for simple pork fried rice. read more

The food was very good definitely a good Chinese food choice they deliver thru door dash and the delivery is cheap I recommend I one of the few places I do order from .. I ordered general chicken with pork fried rice read more

China Taste - S1. General Tso's Chicken 48. Roast Pork Fried Rice - Chinese Near Me - Lutz, Florida

One of the worst Chinese restaurants I have been in my life, maybe the worst. This place is 5 minute away from my home but still I'm never coming back, it is so bad that is not worth it. The smoke pork ribs were absolutely terrible, super dry and bad flavor. The pork egg foo young was nasty. I love Chinese food but this place is the worst. Their fry rice is a joke, you get rice with soy sauce pretty much. Good prices but terrible food. read more

I've ordered here a few times before and it's always good. I really like the sweet and sour chicken dish. I've tried a few other things, but that's normally my go-to. You must try the wonton soup too! So delicious read more

So I like the food here, but service has become terrible lately. Everytime we order it takes another 15 to 20 minutes past the estimated time they tell us over the phone for the food to be ready. I'm assuming it's the sheer volume of orders they get as they are always busy and moving full bore in the kitchen. My guess is they actually need a larger kitchen and a netter expedite system. Since the food tastes good I'll continue to come, but plan accordingly. I'll assume the food will be ready an hour from the time I order it. So that is my PSA for today! read more

Consistently good, shrimp are large and fresh, eggrolls are crisp and not greasy and it is fresh to order a fast.

This place is pretty consistent with their food quality. They did recently forget our order of egg rolls but when I called back to ask, they noted my phone # & gave me credit toward my next purchase! Love that integrity! We have tried some many dishes on their menu and everything thus far has been delicious! The wait, even during super busy holiday times is very reasonable. Definitely nice having them be a local, reliable option for those busy family nights where you just don't feel like grocery shopping & cooking! read more

I am not at all sure what happened tonight, but none of it was good. We love a good pupu platter. This wasn't one of them. The shrimp were so over cooked that you could've bounced them on the floor. The batter wasn't even sticking. It looks like a 3 year old cooked it. The chicken wings were similarly dry. My husband, who is the polar opposite of picky, had only a few bites of his orange chicken before he pushed it away and wouldn't eat anymore. Again, terribly over cooked and dry. I'm sorry to say I won't be back. read more

China Taste - Tempura shrimp from pupu platter. - Chinese Near Me - Lutz, Florida

First time experience tonight. Ordered beef and broccoli. Everything cooked to perfection. Superb flavor. I will definitely go back!

This wasn't a bad experience overall. I placed a request that I was allergic to mushrooms with each item and found that the restaurant complied and I was thankful for that. The egg rolls were a noteable size and somewhat met expectations. I felt that the filling did not offer much variation, but were decent when loaded with Duck sauce. The Shrimp Mei Fun was my entree, and met expectations. I wish that the dish had a little more vegetables in it and did find a few end pieces of shrimp that looked like they should not have been in the food, but nothing overly gross. I would most likely order from this restaurant again, but the egg rolls left me yearning for something more, to which I may keep shopping around for my next go to Chinese restaurant. I was pleased that they offered mei fun and did it well though, always a great and light dish! read more

This place is a gem !!! The family who owns it are very pleasant and helpful and their food is awesome. They always are busy making their great food. I ordered egg rolls and they were hot and delicious. The way I like em'. They were on time and ready for pickup. My co workers love this place. Their restaurant is clean and ready after 11 am. You can call ahead or walk in. Their food prices are $$. They are worth a stop. Their food is awesome !!!!!!! read more

In the mood for some Chinese food and this place has been our main option for over 10 years. Great food at great prices. Convenient to order online and pickup. Now since covid you cannot enter or dine in. You order over the phone and pick up at the door. Pay in person also. We are on keto so cannot have rice. When I ordered I asked for tofu in place of rice and the gentleman was very polite and accommodating to the request. They gave us a side of fried tofu at no additional charge since we didn't get the rice. We ordered the pepper steak and onions and the hunan chicken. My daughter got the general tsaos chicken which in our opinion (when I could eat that) it's the best for Chinese take out. Definitely recommend. It's one of the better Chinese take out places around. read more

Delivered through Uber eats. Dumplings were super soggy and not good. Noodles were ok. If ordering delivery it's not worth the price

I have ordered in person and have done delivery- No issues, food was good, staff was kind - keep it up !! Will place another order soon!!

Shrimp and Broccoli is always good. One of our favorite Chinese take out places. The egg foo young is the best!

I've ordered take-out from here many times and the food is reasonable for its price. I haven't had any issues with missing food, leaked food, etc. The staff are also very nice and friendly. read more

Good basic food, nothing to scream about. It was expensive for the combination plates & can of soda was .$1.67 a can.

Ok - this is a good neighborhood Chinese takeout place. It is very clean and one can see their food being prepared. There is no MSG and it is family run. China Taste's lunch specials are nice and for a good price as well. I would recommend their sesame chicken or the House lo mein. The Singapore chow mei fun is also delicious. If you are looking for something healthy, China Taste's steamed vegetables and rice are wonderful. This is perfect for an evening spent with friends, binge watching a good night of tv. read more

Excellent food, good prices, quick turn around time. All around a great experience! This has become the fam's and my go-to place for our heavily Americanized Chinese cuisine. Can't wait till they let you eat inside again.....if that ever comes back. read more

Probably up there on my list of bad for you New York style Chinese food. They in my opinion have the best crab Rangoons in Tampa so far. It's a bit a way from where I live now but when I'm in the area and have a craving I'll stop in for old times sake. (: read more

My first experience with China Taste delivery was perfect! Ordered Beef and Broccoli, Shrimp and Steamed Veggies, White Rice and Egg Rolls. Everything was delicious and delivered sooner than promised, thus making the food HOT and sooooo good. I will definitely order delivery from China Taste again. read more

This is one of the best and most consistently good Chinese takeout restaurants in the area.

Food bland and mediocre. Wouldn't recommend this place. With COVID and these Variants they should never allow their children/employees to sit at the same counter to eat and hangout where food is being handled/bagged. Needless to say no one wears masks and should never be that close to customers food period. The hallway leading to the restrooms were very cluttered with boxes and looked to me like other junk which kind of makes you wonder if those boxes contained some of the food that they cook and serve their patrons. read more

Better than all other fast Chinese food, shrimp rice noodle is very good. Crab Rangoon is really good too.

Consistently good food, friendly staff. My only complaint is that when you call in an order and they say 20 minutes it should be 20 mins until your food is ready. If it is going to be 40 minutes let me know. Twice now in the span of two months I have shown up 5 minutes later than told and had to wait for an additional 45 minutes. read more

Been Eating here for years, Food is good for take out. Timely. Sometimes I order on phone or go in and order. They have a couple if tables but it is take out. Their food is as good as any Chinese in the area. I always ask for no MSG. They Are also patriotic since they seem to be closed tonight 4 of July read more

We order from here often and is consistently good and service is quick. I decided to write this review after stopping at another take out restaurant and paying for horrible food! I usually get Sweet & Sour Chicken, Crab Rangoon, General Tso's Chicken and Hot & Sour Soup. It has always been tasty. Is any take out perfect? Probably not but this is definitely better than others in the area. read more

I ordered Curry Chicken today. Worst Curry Chicken I've ever had. Chicken was slimey, sauce was slimey and didn't taste like curry. Onions tasted spoiled. After 5 bites, I brought it back to the counter and informed the cashier it was the worst tasting curry I've ever eaten. I paid $9.10 for a pile of garbage. These people are feeding people food unfit for dogs. Hope this helps. read more

China Taste has consistently delicious food. The Beef LoMein is among the best I've ever had! Lots of beef and crunchy veggies jam-packed in the container. The Spring Rolls are crispy and chock-full of delicious veggies and meat. General Tso's Shrimp is awesome! BIG shrimp in a slightly spicy sauce (you can get it hotter) and paired with broccoli. The prices are reasonable, too. If you spend more than $20 you are given a complimentary order of Crab Rangoon, which is yummy! read more

Does not taste good and there was something gooey and clear in my rice couldn't tell you what it was but beware.
