But the service is very nice and efficient. Ordered beef chow fun, won ton soup and shrimp and broccoli. The shrimp and broccoli came with fried rice and an egg roll. Beef chow fun was my hubby's order and it was alright. He was happy with it. I was happy with my soup and shrimp and broccoli. It was a good size serving for both and happy to have left overs the next day. Glad it was a perfect stop for us. These are always what I order from Chinese take out and it's just the way I like it. Just a take out counter and the staff operates with the efficiency of an assembly line. Food is always good. My recent visit included hot and sour soup which was the star of the meal. This Chinese establishment claims to be "New York Style" I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. The flava is definitely on point and indeed has the flava of home BUT they don't have the sauces to put on top of your wings or fries. I was really excited to eat some chicken and rice. The second piece of chicken I ate had a massive crunch when I chewed it. I spat it out and a black piece of plastic is what caused the crunch. Disappointing and unsafe. The chicken that was edible tasted good, though. read more

I have been looking for the Butterfly Shrimp wrapped in Bacon and egg over a bed of onions for a while since our usual Chinese restaurant closed. They serve it here and it's delicious! We have been looking for a Chinese place after out favorite in Lutz closed. This is the second time we have ordered from here as I wanted to get a couple of meals here before judging. Both times the food was ready in the time frame given. They are busy so they obviously do a good job of getting orders out. The chicken in the dish I ordered was very tender and flavorful. The white rice was cooked just right and there where plenty of vegetables. The veggies were not overcooked and tasty. Me wife had the Cashew chicken and we split some fried dumplings. Ordered the Szechuan Beef, Hot Sour Soup and cream cheese wontons. Soup had no taste, none! Barely any beef in the meal and the wontons were adequate. I had also ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken but the girl did not hear it and I chose not to add it. Glad I did not because the food we did get was not very tasty. It's usually pretty easy to have negative comments about a Chinese take out joint but not in the case of China Moon. I even waited a day to see if there would be any irritable bowels or food processing issues and everything passed perfectly. So now that we got that crap out of the way, the food here is excellent! The sauce on the teriyaki beef sticks was amazing! My beautiful wife had the mushu chicken and it was very flavorful and couldn't get enough of it. The general tso's was about the same as you get anywhere but the orange chicken was prepared perfectly and had a great orange zest after flavor. Loved the potstickers and the crab rangoons as well. We all know that every mall and strip mall has a Chinese restaraunt and the food does vary from location to location. Well, China Moon is definately a little more than what you would expect. The dining accomodations are minimal, this place is geared more towards the carryout crowd. The food was amazing. I've ordered from here several times, usually just a veggie noodle dish. The last time we ordered a HUGE spread with chicken, beef etc. It didn't taste right to us, and after a couple of us didn't feel that great. We had left overs, which we kept in the fridge until garbage day. We put them in the garbage in the garage, but forgot to roll it out and by the next afternoon, our entire garage smelled like something had died. My husband rolled the can out to the back of the house the smell was so bad, and BUZZARDS came. So, there was obviously something wrong with the food.
