!!HORRIBLE FOOD, was OVERCOOKED & DRYYYYY!! I wouldn't order from there again if It were the last Chinese restaurant around! I looked up reviews and they didn't seem too bad, so I called and placed an order, I also asked for two pint size house duck sauce and he told me to tell him when I got there to pick up food... ok so I get there to pick up my order in 20 mins after being told 15 mins.. and end up standing around outside for 25 more mins with several others waiting for our orders to be ready. Ok it is what it is, well now my order is ready (OVER $60) and I remind him of the duck sauce and he tells me they only give out packets!! Uhmm he could have told me that over the phone instead of LIEING!! I explained to him I wasn't from here but I've never been to a Chinese place that DIDNT sell pint size house duck sauce, usually $5 a pint in WEST PALM BEACH he looks at me and smirks and says "we don't do that here, but since u have big order I can give u 5 small duck sauce." Mind you I ordered TEN bags of the chips they sell that you DIP in duck sauce! I asked if he would sell me those, he said NO! usually the small ones are .25 ea in WPB! I was so annoyed but my husband and 3 kids were hungry so I just asked for 2 sides of sweet and sour sauce instead & paid $1 for each side. So now I get back to our hotel and when I tell you the ONLY reason I could tell the difference between the honey chicken and the sweet & sour chicken is the sesame seeds!! I was soooo pissed!! Who orders honey chicken and not a drip of honey sauce in the freaking container!! So I grab the extra sweet and sour sauce I got, (thank God) to dip my chicken in just to find out how DRY and OVERRRRCOOKED/RECOOKED the chicken is!! I then tried the lomein noodles I subbed out in place of friend rice and they were mushy and overcooked also! Was just a bad experience and IMO the other reviews are not correct! We've ordered from China Moon a total of 3 times; the first time was a couple years ago and the experience / food was mediocre at best. The 2nd and 3rd times were with the last 2 months and the food and service was fantastic both times. Hit the spot for that Chinese food craving. Would definitely recommend and will return. read more

The Gf and I were craving Chinese food so went on Yelp and this was the closest one to our home. I'm very picky when it comes to Chinese restaurants and will only go to a couple. It got over 4 stars so thought for sure it had to be good. First impression when I walked in wasn't the greatest. This place has a horrible odor and an upside down roach fighting for its life was the first thing I saw. At this point I'm praying the food is good as I am writing this review and trying to examine the kitchen lol. Place was super busy, had a lot of traffic so thought maybe when I get home it'll actually turn out pretty good. I ordered the wings extra crispy with pork fried rice and my gf got the beef with broccoli. May I saw we were both pretty impressed. It wasn't the best chinese food I have ever had but despite the odor n roach lol will definitely be back when I am home with a Chinese food craving and not wanting to travel far. read more

I've ordered food from here for years, never had a problem. It's not the best Chinese food ever but it's good and fast with mostly friendly service. My father in law loves the Mongolian Beef, I personally don't think anything really stands out...but I gave it 4 starts (instead of 3) because I've never had a problem and usually get service with a smile. I ordered peppered steak off the lunch menu. Nothing special about it. Rice was a little gummy and the steak had a weird texture. Portions were a good size, more then I could finish. We normally go to Rice N Roll off of N Dale Mabry and Lutz Lake Fern, but today we decided to try China Moon. First impression was that they are extremely reasonably priced. Hoping for a good portion, we drove to pick it up and the meals were incredible! We did 3 of their special combos (choose a meal that comes with fried rice and an egg roll). Very tasty, and my two favorites from the food were the fried rice, tasting like what you'd expect but very flavorful and fresh, and then the egg roll; tasting home made and with a flakey crust. I was very surprised with how good the food was here! For a small take out Chinese restaurant in a shopping center, I didn't set my expectations very high. I ordered beef and broccoli, honey chicken, and chicken Lo Mein. It was super cheap, the staff was really friendly and the food was just as good as any expensive sit down Chinese restaurant. Average Chinese food for what it is. In a pinch they have good lunch specials and decent dinner combos to choose from. Dumplings and General Tso's chicken are a safe bet. Their soups, mainly egg drop and wonton are good as well. I've had some pretty good meals and some below average meals. The downside is there are not many other decent Chinese options close by. The Chinese food options up in this area seem to be far and few between, which led me to this place which is a stones throw from my house. Overall it has a pretty run of the mill menu that you will find in most Chinese food establishments. My go to is the Kung Pao Chicken and/or the Chicken with Black Bean Sauce. Both are essentially the same dish with the exception of the sauces they are tossed/cooked in. Not a lot of options for Chinese in the immediate vicinity but this place more than fits the bill - it's a smallish place with just a few tables - most of their business is probably take out I'm sure - and that I can say is solid - good food, reasonably priced, and ready quickly. Had a really bad experience with the orange beef a while back. The meat resembled something other than beef and was in weird shapes.... It also tasted strange and looked almost purply brown inside! Also their public health report is not good - we will have to find another Chinese take out place. read more

This place is awful. We have given them three chances. Nothing is good. I can't even describe it but it's bad. Pre made mixes from publix would be better. They really need to hire a chef to teach them to cook. Travel 3 miles in either direction for amazing Chinese and Thai. Golden inn is ridiculous amazing and Bangkok Thai. Horrible service and they don't deliver. We ordered take out, got home and one if the dishes was wrong. Unless shrimp turns into tofu within 5 minutes of a drive, I'd be shocked. So we called to let them know, and because they don't deliver we had to drive back and take them the wrong order. They gave us our shrimp meal....got home, and yup you guessed it. They didn't put any rice as their menu states. 2 strikes they're out. Never going back and would never recommend this place. First Asian restaurant I know that doesn't deliver.
