Quick pop up at Pop Up Bagels Carrollwood while in the area. I am not gonna lie... I've been thinking about these bagels. They are pretty delicious. My favorite are the Salt and Plain bagels with the Scallion Smear. Yall.... Delicious!! It was pretty empty so I am wondering if the excitement has died down. Interesting. However as long as they stay around I will be there whenever I can.

Yummmm! Had no clue what to expect but passed by a couple times and decided to stop in. The smallest order you can get is 3 bagels and a schmear. I ordered 2 salt and 1 poppy with the cranberry butter. The bagels are warm, they have a hard exterior and super soft on the inside. I can't tell you if the salt bagel or poppy bagel was better because they were both insanely good. I loved them with the cranberry butter. WOW!

Best Bagels in Tampa. They're absolutely Delicious. Fluffy and bread inside is unbelievably fantastic. Love this place.

I'm not going to lie, I love bagels. This place is awesome! The bagels are piping hot and crispy on the outside while nice and fluffy on the inside. The shmear options were all delicious and there's something so satisfying about the rip and dip! This place was LEAGUES better than Bagel Nook!

I stopped in a little later in the day, so they were already sold out of quite a few varieties (which honestly is a great sign if you know good bagel shops). I was hoping for onion bagels, and luckily they had a couple left. From the moment I walked in, I got the warmest welcome from the owner. He genuinely seemed happy I found the place and took the time to chat. He even gave me the number and said I could call ahead next time and they'd have my order ready--and even bring it out to the car. The bagels were exactly what I've been missing--fresh, flavorful, and right. But what really stood out was the kindness and genuine hospitality. This is the kind of small business you root for. I'll definitely be back--and earlier next time so I don't miss out!

This cozy little shop is located in Carrollwood Village... a huge housing development, that somehow-innearly 36 years of living here-I had never been to until now. But missing a turn, led to some exploring and then, some bageling! New York Bagel and Bean is in a plaza at the corner of South Village and West Village. The joint was jumping when I was there at 11am on a Wednesday. It was difficult to find a parking spot, but so worth it. The shop is very homey and welcoming-with several tables and homespun decor. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and helpful. I felt truly appreciated. I felt bad I was only ordering one bagel. It was big and the perfect texture. And then... came the honey butter. Honey butter, people! It's happening! This was not a drill! It was delicious! Decadent, yes-but the perfect accompaniment. I may be in love! Should I move to Carrollwood Village just to be closer? Maybe!!! I'lll report back!

The food itself was really good like always. The only downside honestly is the service. I had to explain multiple times how I wanted the sandwich made with the toppings side by side and the person taking the order just wasn't really understanding what I was asking for. Even after explaining it again, it still wasn't clicking, which was frustrating. I've noticed this pretty much every time we come here. The staff never really seems approachable or friendly and the customer service could definitely improve, especially when tips are being requested. A smile and better communication would honestly make such a huge difference because the food is genuinely great. We also tried the matcha latte for the first time, and unfortunately it wasn't good at all. Maybe it's new, but it definitely needs some improvement. Overall, we still love coming here because the food keeps us coming back, but the service has consistently been lacking. Realistically the service is probably a 3, but because we love the place and the food so much, I'll still give it a 4.

So…read morefar where I live.I have not been able to find one that I truly crave and all the ones that I do are a pretty good hike from our house. Sesame isn't exactly close either, however, it is ina location that I go often enough that if I'm having a craving and theirs turned out to be good I could grab one while doing my other errands. I was greeted immediately upon entering and they waited patiently for me just to review the menu once again as I have looked last night online. The inside area is very small and only has four tables, which are lined by a wall of a shared bench so I stood there waiting for my order to be completed. My order came up pretty quickly and I took it outside to sit down and enjoy as there are many more seats that line the sidewalk. It was a lovely morning outside so sitting there and enjoying the sandwich was perfectly fine with me. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that when I unwrapped my sandwich. There were two eggs and two pieces of sausage on my bagel. Originally, I had thought that the price was a little high even though it is in Hyde Park, but given that I had 2 eggs on it if you order those out for breakfast anywhere nowadays, they are $2 to $3 each. Add on the cost of the sausage and the sandwich is very, very reasonably priced. Before leaving, I needed to use the restroom facilities in which I was having a difficult time getting the door to lock and another patron walked up and told me to shut the door really hard and I'd be able to lock it. So be mindful of that little trick because pulling on, it does not allow it to lock. It just needs to be pushed harder into the door frame. I will definitely be returning to sesame for a breakfast sandwich anytime I am craving it or in the area.

Pro-tip: additional parking is located just down the street (look for the blue building with signage). I got to enjoy brunch on the outdoor patio (covered, breezy, and dog-friendly) recently and was blown away. We started with coffee and the aforementioned pastries (get them early because they all sell out!). The spanakopita was the perfect, flakey, savory intro and then paired perfectly with the sweet baklava coffee cake and croissant cinnamon roll. All three were exceptional and next time I'll go next door to their market and buy some to take home. From there we dug into breakfast dishes. I shared the Strapatsada (vegetarian, but you can add meat options), which is a Greek scramble with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, grilled baguette; along with the Med Morning Yogurt Bowl (v, gf) featuring fresh berries, house granola, mint, greek thyme honey. The granola was clearly house-made and I would also opt to purchase it at the market if they sell it! Both dishes were satisfying and hit the savory/sweet combo I was searching for. Finally, the service was fabulous and friendly and they even brought a water bowl for my pup. Great spot and my #1 go-to when in Tampa now!

Fries were a good cut. Sauces were house made, what was it you ask - no idea. But don't care, they were great. Food was great. Just felt like I didn't fit in. Or maybe I just was not prepped/dressed to feel like I was in Mykonos on a cruise and that was the excursion for the day. Idk, good stuff overall.
