I must say after coming here weekly for a few months and getting to see other elevation locations, this spot has dramatically declined in service, sanitation and overall quality. Hygiene issue: It's pretty disgusting that the bathroom sink and toilet have gold rings around them and they sometimes do not stock toilet paper so a used roll is sitting on the top of the toilet. The tables are rarely wiped down and even if you wanted to sit outside, there is so many spider webs by the chairs and windows. It's embarrassing to bring friends here because of this. Service: it went from excellent to total embarrassment. I had walked in on a Saturday and the lights were off and no tables and chairs were placed outside. The baker was making coffee and it was CLEAR she was in a bad mood because the barista was TWO hours late. How did I know? They had an argument outside after I left and waited 45 mins for my coffee. Wow! Where do I start on this lovely business... The gluten-free breads are to die for! Gluten-free fudgy, brownies, and vegan and gluten-free cinnamon coffee cake.. Right now, they also have a pumpkin bread, it is not gluten-free, but it is excellent as well. Everything is so moist and fresh. The coffee beans are roasted fresh daily. As a coffee shop lover, I love discovering new coffee spots around town. I got the chance to check out this spot, thanks to the Yelp Elite crew, and it was amazing. Everything we tried was delicious, the service was amazing, and the vibe of the place was great. Super happy to have tried this bright fun new coffee shop in Lutz. I was surprised when I came because it's a new building tucked in the back. I use to live out this way so it was definitely a nice surprise. I walked in to a super friendly face and asked him what he would recommend. I also asked about seasonal iced drink flavors also. He recommended either the CINNY toast crunch or toffee almond. I chose the toffee almond and it was quite tasty, & definitely different than I can find just anywhere. While waiting for my drink, I noticed how packed it was. There was a church group in there so they were having a blast. Glad it's such a happy place in there, but it definitely can get loud. That's ok. I went outside and drank my iced coffee outside and it was nice and chill just how I like it. I'll definitely be back, & I'm glad we have a really nice coffee shop here besides the usual Starbucks. How I heard of this place: In search of a good coffee shop in Tampa, we found Elevation Coffee Roasters, which looked pleasant, and sounded like it had a home-made feel. What a hidden oasis for coffee aficionados! At another great Yelp event (thanks Skylar and Yelp for having me), we were greeted and treated to samplings of Elevations' brews and food. All the confections are created by Ashley and are actually home made and (most are)gluten-free. Trust me, as a person who loves her sweets, Ashley's treats are deliciously rich and decadent, from the brownies to the sausage biscuit. Jonathan has the honor of being the barista for Elevation and he makes a mean lavender latte! Ashley encouraged Jonathan to give greeting and welcome us to their third location, one is downtown of Franklin Street, the other in Carrollwood. He told us that the first Friday of every month is trivia. This month the did one for 'Gilmore Girls'. For December, they've selected Harry Potter trivia. In January, they're going to try to do one on 'Friends'. They are, in addition to bringing organic coffees to the Tampa Bay area, they want to instill a sense of community. This location is bright with vibrant colors yet cozy, comfy with overstaffed chairs and sofas as well as small tables, kind of like visiting the three bears' home. You can sit at the bar and watch your coffee being created and chat with the barista about where the coffee comes from, what the ingredients are grown, or even talk about sports and your favorite team. WiFi is available so you linger over your favorite coffee creation with your laptop and work or play. Or, snuggle into the comfy chairs and just visit with friends. Elevation may just turn out to be one of the better coffee shops you've ever been to. It certainly will be the friendliest. read more

This place is small but cute. The customer service was amazing! The guy upfront could not have been any friendlier! The coffee is not sweet but decently dark roasted, which I LOVE!!! The tea is also light and refreshing. The sandwich is the BOMB though! I did the one without meat and with honey mustard, which I was skeptical at first but omgosh-is it good! I love the Carrollwood location and this Lutz location did not disappoint! It actually has even more gluten free treats! From breakfast sandwiches to brownies, this place has the gluten free goods! I got the coffee cake and did not get sick (I still took a glutense before I ate it ) and my husband said it didn't even taste gluten free (it was :) the staff was knowledgeable about the gluten free items and very quick with drinks! I had an americano that was smooth and not bitter, while my husband had a cortado with almond milk that he loved. They have oat & almond milks for those with allergies. It's located at the end of strip mall by a mega church, so I'm sure this location could be busy on Sunday. But for a Wednesday morning there was plenty of parking and seats inside. Sorry let me rephrase If you're looking for a real coffee shop and not your super chain coffee place I highly recommend elevation coffee. The staff knows their stuff and a lot of the ingredients are made in house like the lavender which paired with Vanilla brought me back to a memory of the Hawaii islands with how fresh and fragrant it's was. The few times I've been it's always been clean and the staff so friendly and willing to joke and have a great time (respectfully of course) don't pass this place by you'll be missing out on one of the best cups of coffee around. Also their baked goods are (fire x 3) yes 3 of them and the Vegan coffee cake was one of the best non dairy pastries I've had and I've had tons of them. I was in the neighborhood (my old hood-I live in st Pete now) and I had just finished a very powerful, intentional reiki session with a true Reiki Goddess Master (who is also my very good friend and soul sister). I have been feeling very wild energy lately. A lot of release of imbalance and stagnant energy. Making room for what's to come and for what is meant for me. I know that this healing journey is not meant to be done alone. So I called my girl for some help, support, love, healing and guidance. I am one who takes the making and intention of my coffee very seriously. It is how I honor myself, my life, the universe and my day ahead. A beautiful practice I have mastered over the years. I left the reiki sesh knowing I wanted coffee, but where? I got on yelp, followed the angel numbers and found this gem!! I didn't question. I just trusted and went! It turns out that I have already been to their other location in downtown tampa. I went (a few days ago) and it was closed for private event. I said to myself I'll be back here soon. And now I am here. Just not how I believed it would look (never attached to an outcome) It's much better, to be honest. I'm in such a good headspace and mindset. Being here, at this location, was destined. I am so grateful I followed my guides and higher self. They make their own syrups and the vibes are on point. My latte was made by a beautiful powerful soul, Melissa. She was kind and knowledgeable. My latte brought me nothing but more love and enlightenment. They roast their own coffee and I got their tea and it is probably the best cup of strawberry green tea I have had in my life. We stayed in the area for a series of youth hockey games with Tampa Bulls. The hotel was nice ( Hyatt House), but the closest coffee shop (Raining Berries) had really bad espresso. We decided to drive 6 minutes away from the hotel in the direction opposite of the hockey rinks to try Elevation Coffee Roaster's espresso. This place is legit. I know that just a few reviews (all being 5 stars) look like fake reviews, but we took a risk, and this place has legit espresso quality and delicious pastries baked in house. These people understand espresso - a rarity among coffee shops. If you don't know what I'm talking about and enjoy Starbuck, just disregard everything I've just said. One star is taken off for the ambiance. Looks like they took over a frozen yogurt place. There is no ambiance, but I would prefer this place to Raining Berries, which has great ambiance but terrible espresso. read more

Yikes, what an experience! I normally have only good reviews on restaurants I visit, but my experience here was beyond disappointing. First, I give the atmosphere and ambiance a big ZERO. When you enter, you are greeted with boxes and piles of stock room supplies and dead plants, as well as skanky looking leather couch and rug. The employee waiting on me was barely friendly, I ordered a latte with mocha and a GF scone. It took a while for my order which I thought was weird since no one was in front of me, but okay. There were boxes and piles of supplies towards the back of the place as well, I guess they need a bigger storage room. But the food they offer was not extensive. My coffee was good, but the scone was like what I imagine eating dirt would be. I wish I had taken pics of the store, because it doesn't look anything like the pics posted previously .
