Daughter and I have been on a quest for the best matcha around. Since visiting NY and having Blank Street, there's been no comparison. This place is cute and tucked away in the little plaza with one of the best bagel shops. Well $19 later for 2 small strawberry matchas left us underwhelmed. The place is cute and we were welcomed when we came in. The drinks were out fast and staff was nice. They also have a gift shop area where you can browse. They do have some really cute kitchen items.

Very tasteful atmosphere. Fun drink options. We tried 2 items on their specialty menu. Cute retail area. Lots of quaint places to sit. Outdoor seating options. Free parking.

I saw a post about The Perfect Press Coffee on Instagram. Since I was in downtown on Saturday afternoon, I decided to visit. I was able to find parking near the cafe. When I entered the cafe, I loved the ambiance and decorations inside the cafe. I observed people enjoying the coffee inside the cafe. After browsing the menu, I ordered a Seasonal coffee, specifically the Pumpkin Spice Latte. My drink arrived 10 minutes later. The coffee was perfectly spiced, exactly what I was looking for. The seasonal drink was delicious and the ambiance was lovely too. I loved everything about it.

2 London fogs - so good

This is such a cute coffee spot in the middle of Carrollwood Village. The people working here are always so kind and the drinks are amazing while also being consistent every time I visit. I do enjoy their lattes, but their London fog is actually my favorite. If you're a Macha lover, definitely try their iced Matcha drinks, as they are also very tasty. It can get packed during certain times, but please don't let that discourage you (or the lack of parking) from trying this place . Oh, and they always give you a Biscoff cookie with your drink which is such a cute add-on

I wish this coffee shop lived up to its name. It was everything but. The good? The ambiance. Interior design is beautiful and bathroom as well. It definitely feels cozy. Not too big and not too small. The employees were kind. Lots of cute mugs and kitchen items for sale. The bad? The coffee! Unfortunately. We ordered 3 different coffee drinks. They all tasted like warm milk with a hint of coffee. Maybe the locals enjoy warm milk? When you're from Miami and you've had Cuban coffee and you grew up on Turkish and Arabic coffee, you're used to strong coffee. Straight black, or with some milk but not milk with some coffee. Even after the barista added more coffee for me, it still tasted so light. Also, there wasn't a place to fix your coffee. J felt like I was in everyone's way while adding sugar. We had our coffees to go and there weren't any tables available.

This is just a quick updated review with some pictures. I still love this coffee shop. It is almost always crowded. There are small pockets of time throughout the day where it will be quiet, but this is a popular local café for sure! And with good reason! Don't sleep on this!

Even though it was super busy when I went in, the wait wasn't long at all. The coffee was good and the service was even better! I can't get over how cute it was in here and I'm bummed that the gift shop side was closed when I went in.

I stumbled upon this coffee shop by chance and decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did! As soon as I walked in, I noticed the lovely and tasteful decor. The coffee shop is actually connected to some kitchen store and there is a nice little gift shop to browse while you wait on your beverage being prepared. The line to order was to the door, but the staff took orders quickly and efficiently. I'm a huge fan of drip coffee and always judge a coffee shop by how they prepare this simple, yet flavorful beverage. The Perfect Press Coffee lives up to its name- their drip coffee is smooth, bold, and flavorful. I love it!

If you're looking for an aesthetically pleasing coffee shop in Tampa with delicious matcha - The Perfect Press Coffee is your place. I found this spot thanks to Tiktok and my craving for a pick me up was much needed. This shop is located in the Carrollwood area in a plaza and when you walk inside it's like a coffee shop mixed with William Sonoma vibes. It has so many cute cooking accessories and gifts for your favorite chef or just yourself. The employee who took my order was super friendly and we had great banter. I came in for the coconut cloud matcha, however it was a seasonal flavor. But the fall seasonal drinks were listed and of course I had to try their pumpkin cream matcha. This was an iced matcha latte with pumpkin syrup, pumpkin cold foam, and milk of your choice - which I went with almond milk. My eye also flirted with their dessert case and I went with a Dubai chocolate cookie, which was recommended as well. While I waited, I browsed around and found myself already planning my next trip to pick up some truffle oil and jams. Since it was packed inside, I decided to enjoy my latte to go. I never would have thought that matcha and pumpkin spice or anything pumpkin would work, but wow. This was my first sip of fall and I highly enjoyed it. It tasted like a pumpkin/sweet potato pie in a drink. It was not overly sweet - it was the perfect amount of sweetness. They use ceremonial matcha, which is great quality, and you can definitely taste it. The matcha wasn't chalky or clumpy at all. I have to thank Tiktok for this amazing recommendation.

Ordered the strawberry matcha this time. I was disappointed in the drink unfortunately. I want to say that the matcha is premade for the day and it tasted too watered down for my liking

I'm so glad I discovered this charming little coffee shop after seeing a few cute videos on Instagram. it definitely lived up to the hype. Since strong coffee tends to make me sleepy instead of energized, I went for the matcha coconut with coconut cream , coconut water ,and my choice of milk. On another visit, I tried the matcha with strawberry--both were delicious, and I love that their fruit syrups are made in-house with real ingredients. The café is on the smaller side, with a quiet, cozy vibe. Half the space is dedicated to the kitchen and a small retail section. It's very aesthetically pleasing, though I do think it could benefit from a bit more seating. Even with its more minimal, grab-and-go feel, I'll definitely keep coming back to try more from the menu.

So excited to try for the first time!

This place is always happening! Tried the coquito latte (decaf). Yum. And my friend had the gingerbread latte. She's very impressed! Of course the service is always on point. Colby is a fantastic manager. Perfect Press is always decorated thanks to Alicia Johnson. Check out the ornaments hanging from the ceiling.

The perfect press was very cute inside, it had a little shop connected to the coffee area that was very cute

The matcha was very flavorful and the lounging area was very cute, I would definitely come back. The staff were very polite and personable as well!

This cozy little shop is located in Carrollwood Village... a huge housing development, that somehow-innearly 36 years of living here-I had never been to until now. But missing a turn, led to some exploring and then, some bageling! New York Bagel and Bean is in a plaza at the corner of South Village and West Village. The joint was jumping when I was there at 11am on a Wednesday. It was difficult to find a parking spot, but so worth it. The shop is very homey and welcoming-with several tables and homespun decor. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and helpful. I felt truly appreciated. I felt bad I was only ordering one bagel. It was big and the perfect texture. And then... came the honey butter. Honey butter, people! It's happening! This was not a drill! It was delicious! Decadent, yes-but the perfect accompaniment. I may be in love! Should I move to Carrollwood Village just to be closer? Maybe!!! I'lll report back!

With its brick walls (real? fake? No matter!) and industrial light fixtures and stools, it has all those big city feels-and a big and intriguing menu. I'm so glad I stopped in. I always test drive a new (for me) place with a chai tea latte and a toasted sesame bagel. Oh! That bagel! The seeds on top were next level! Are they pre-toasted... are other seeds added? I dunno that-but I do know, this was an epic sesame experience. The rest of the bagel was good, too... nice chewy-to-crunchy ratio... soothing, comforting... everything you want it to be-and I liked the way it was packaged and served, on a little wooden tray. I loved the peaceful early morning vibes in here so much, I stayed almost too long, to get to an appointment on time (almost). I'll go back (for sure) when I'm not on deadline. There are so many other things to try, from boba tea to pastries and crepes. There's a comfy couch and chairs, two high top counters and several tables, where you can work, study or hang with friends. It's spotlessly clean and the employees I encountered were nice. And since it's in a plaza, there's lots of free parking. Grind Haus-I'll see you soon!
