Fresh Kitchen is my go-to spot whenever I need to grab something to eat if my cooking fails me (which is rare ). Every single time I order from Fresh Kitchen, it satisfies me. It keeps me full the whole night, and honestly just makes me feel good after eating there. The sweet potato noodles are ridiculously good, and somehow everything I order always complements each other perfectly. There's this balance and flow between the flavors, textures, and ingredients that just hits every time. The texture is spot on, the flavor is amazing, and I genuinely feel healthier eating it while still hitting my protein goals. Some people prefer Chipotle as their go to meal -- personally, I'd take Fresh Kitchen every time. I also love that they don't use seed oils. I can't stand putting that stuff into my body. Went in after work and if you know anything about Tampa that's like the hardest time to get anything done quickly but they had me in and out in minutes I got my food and I was back home diving in. The team members were helpful I haven't been here in a while so he was helping me decide and giving me ideas on flavor pairings. Loved the chickpeas but my one comment would be on the creamy Sriracha. It lacked the spice or kick I was anticipating. I did add my own pickled onions but the rest is all FK and to make matters better they are seed oil free which in is much needed when so much of our food has been modified and is no longer healthy. I've been a Fresh Kitchen follower since they opened in Tampa on Howard many moons ago. Since that location closed, the one on Kennedy is my go to. It's much easier to get in and out of, especially if you utilize the parking in the back. I tend to go off hours between lunch and dinner, although there is always a line, It moves very quickly. It's your typical build your own bowl place. Fresh Kitchen offers very fresh and healthy food. I love their Kale Caesar, mushrooms, carrots, barbecue chicken and steak. Staff is quite friendly and when I've been there, they have always had their act together. For a fast casual meal that's good for you they can't be beat. read more

had lunch here with a friend and it was so amazing!! I was looking for something simple and health conscious, and this spot was the perfect place. The portions are so so big. I got a 6 item bowl because I was super hungry, but I couldn't even finish half of it!! The almond chicken was my favorite protein!! Such a cool flavor and the crunchiness of the almonds complements the tender chicken well. The broccoli was well seasoned, and the mushrooms were delicious. Really starting to feel disappointed with Fresh Kitchen after many years of being a fan. Today the portions seemed much smaller than what they normally provide. I always get the same order and they were super stingy with the amount of Kale Pesto Tomatoes which you have to pay $1.50 extra for. I think they could be a little more generous - this isn't a protein or guac. Tomatoes and the ingredients don't warrant the extra charge but irregardless if you're going to charge me extra on top of what I'm already paying (which is now $11.25 for a four bowl) I expect you to load me up. This was my first time and I had no idea what to expect. It was setup similar to a cava or chipotle - where you got a bowl and got to pick your options. The food looked fresh and smelled amazing. It was my first time so I asked could I get a sample of some of the options before I put it in my bowl. I landed on a three bowl - which was one protein, one base, and one veggie. I got kale caesar, herb blackened chicken, and mushrooms. It was absolutely amazing! The bowl was delicious and a great after workout/yoga food option. I felt full and satisfied without feeling groggy or like I ate too much. It was a nice healthy alternative. This worked out perfectly because we skipped the long line and enjoyed our bowls at a table outside. I built my own bowl with coconut ginger rice and arugula as my base, and it was sooo good. Definitely try the coconut ginger rice if you enjoy those flavors, it was one of my fav things in my bowl along with the roasted broccoli. I love that this is a healthier option that leaves you feeling good. The inside is decorated so nicely and there is so much parking behind the building as well. I hadn't been to FK in a long time. There were some changes. The tofu as a protein option is gone. The addition of bourbon and chicken was not as good as I had hoped. The almond chicken tasted a little dry and lacked flavor and the bourbon chicken was a little burnt. It was just ok and I just remember the flavors being better. I would eat here every day if I could! I got the 4 bowl with cauliflower, rice, and greens for the base, with blackened chicken, cucumbers, mushrooms, and tomatoes. It does get very busy and parking can be a challenge, but I've found its easiest to order online ahead of time and pick up off the shelf in front! I think I've mastered my favorite bowl so I'm writing it here so I remember. For my protein I got the baked almond chicken. For bases I got the tumeric quinoa and kale caesar. Then for my vegetable I got mushrooms and for sauce I got the creamy white ginger. This was absolute perfection. It filled it up and was absolutely divine. I also got the carrot juice which was a great blend of carrot, ginger and orange juice. The ginger and OJ didn't overwhelm the carrot. I would also recommend this drink The people who work here are super nice too. Two of them told me they liked my outfit and almost all of them told me to have an awesome day. It really brightens your day to be around people that cheery. Seating is limited as is parking. Yes they have a parking lot in the back, but it still fills up. I highly recommend coming at 11:30 so you can get a spot and a place to sit. Otherwise grabbing and going it always a good option. This is one of my favorite places to grab a healthy bite. There are a lot of bowl options in Tampa. FK is Still one of the most clutchiest of the clutch bowl places to eat tho! Everything is fresh, the grilled meats are always marinated and tasty! I've always loved fresh kitchen it's fast and it's healthy but my only complaint that has always been consistent every single time I've come in- it's ridiculous what they consider a serving size on the meat. As you can see in the picture it is a good example of what it looks like when you order two helpings but what's messed up it is this is exactly how it came with both two scoops as you can see one side as one scoop and the other side is another scoop and if you count the smaller side there's only eight pieces of chicken and each piece is pretty small like tiny bite-size. Is Fresh considering eight pieces of chicken to be one serving? Because I get one serving of chicken at Chick-fil-A or at chipotle and it's much more. It's barely one serving to me to double up on both. You can still charge the same price just put a little more in the scoop! read more
