Hash brown bowl with ham and cheese and eggs
    Bruce K.

As the morning rush started to roll in and the shift change started, the place got a little crowded. Still, someone was able to take my order and someone else cooked it. In between, I got coffee and I was able to start waking up a bit. A few minutes later, my hash brown bowl arrived. It was cooked properly, a base of potatoes topped with cheese and ham and scrambled eggs. Excellent and better when I added my hot sauce (I still miss the Waffle House salsa but it doesn't seem like it's ever coming back). The restaurant got a little loud but never rowdy. People came in, people left, a few folks placed to go orders and the overnight crew slowly left, leaving just one team and a bunch of customers. It's an interesting show. No fights this morning. We decided to come for afternoon breakfast. Since it was during the week, we were seated right away and we ordered as well. I enjoy coming here because the service is always good and food always comes out right away. My 1 year old enjoyed looking out the window. Our favorite food was the sausage gravy and biscuits, super yummy!

I haven't been to a Waffle House in a long long time. When one was built here we promised to try it and we finally did. A Wednesday morning around 10 and the place was packed but we still got a booth right away. Chrissa, our waitress was right there taking drink order. We both ordered the all-star. 2 eggs, choice of meats, toasts and starch ( hash browns or grits) plus a waffle. It cost $11 and change but it was a lot of food. Wife ordered raisin bread toast, I white, and we shared both. Nice choice raisin toast, it was great. All in all it was a good solid breakfast we both couldn't finish. And the coffee was really good. It turned outvChrissa was from the next town over from where I grew up on Long Island, small world. This is a good waffle house. Try it.

Finally got to give this place a go! we were seated right away which is always a good thing. However our seat was right near the entrance to the restrooms, so that was a negative. Our server, Christa, was awesome, very friendly and pleasant. Not a single complaint there. Give that woman a raise! I ordered the All Star breakfast cuz I was starving! I had two over medium eggs, hash browns, bacon, raisin toast and a single waffle. everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. oh, and the coffee was really good too, and I seldom drink hot coffee. The atmosphere, well, it's a waffle house, there is none. The place was slamming and all was good. Definitely recommend and definitely will return!

Waffle house is a no brainer, and I have been eating at waffle houses for a very long time. My go to plate has always been the T-bone steak, eggs over medium, hashbrown with cheese and onions. Normally I enjoy this meal. I have been going to the waffle house in Riverview since it opened a few of years ago. This location has parking around the building. Typical waffle house limited seatting. Friendly staff, fast service and location seems to always be clean. I normally don't have problems with my T-bone steak, but this last time I went, the meat really didn't have any flavor, nothing some salt wouldn't fix, the meat was cook medium well, but it was chewy, and I really didn't enjoy it this last time. BTW, you will not find T-bone steak in the menu, but if you ask for it, they will serve it. I'm not evaluating waffle house based on this one meal, because this was not the norm, I still enjoy this place. You know what is weird? I have yet to eat a waffle at the waffle house. Go figure.

The meca of breakfasts. You will never have a better waffle. Hands down. This location was also clean, friendly and slammed but they still got you in and out quickly!

It's been a long time since I've been to Waffle House. This one was definitely nicer and newer than one I visited years ago. I wasn't super hungry so I was glad they have smaller portions and a la carte items. I got the breakfast meal with two eggs with toast and hash browns. It was filling but nothing special. Also ordered a peanut butter chip waffle, which turned out to be their classic waffle with peanut butter chip sprinkled on top. Again good but nothing extraordinary. It was surprising to see so many staff working there at the same time.

The waffle came up front but not good enough to post but everything else was delicious. Our waitress was great, wish I had her name.

Stopped in this relatively new location of this iconic chain restaurant for lunch. The place was busy on a Saturday. Everything was new and the restaurant seemed clean. We sat at a booth and was greeted by Sebastian our server. He was a pleasant young man who provided excellent service. We told him this was our first experience at a Waffle House restaurant. He explained the menu and all the substitutions and additions we could order. I ordered the house special which was like a little buffet. It had a large waffle, 2 scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast and sausage. My wife ordered the same, but with fried eggs and bacon. We both added pecans to our waffle. The food came out in a timely manner. Everything was as ordered and delicious. Our server checked on us twice. The coffee could have been warmer, but I find this is the most common issue in many breakfast/lunch restaurants. They serve several other breakfast items such as breakfast bowls and egg sandwiches. For lunch and dinner, burgers, sandwiches, and steak and chicken bowls are on the menu. There is plenty of parking.

Food service was way to long had to wait for an hour, and they still forgot the meat on my platter but overall the food was ok. The service was ok too.

The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. Please consider supporting this business expansion so that it remains available to us. This does not appear to be an experiment to see how it goes. All of the signs, including outdoor signs, have been updated or replaced to announce that the business is open for dinner. The dining room is too bright. I suggested to server, who passed my comment on, that they should figure out how to dim the lights or turn some of them off. Speaking of the server, she was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Our server's name was Ava, and she is an immigrant of Greek and Albanian descent, who has been in the United States for 29 years. Ava happily brewed a fresh pot of decaf for us and offered drinks for us to take with us. We were given the regular menu and a dinner supplement. I have attached copies of the dinner supplement and you can see there are varied options--and you can also see how reasonably priced the options are. Portion sizes were great. Too much for us, anyway. I had the fried shrimp platter and the $13.95 price included the shrimp, french fries, sauteed green beans and a really nice dinner salad. Joanne had the chicken salad croissant sandwich. She really liked her sandwich. I liked my dinner but being candid, I would be surprised if the shrimp were breaded in house as opposed to prepared and frozen by the purveyor. I will try something different next time or will have the shrimp grilled. Portions were plentiful. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience. Based on the food, the location and the prices, we are certainly happy to support Eggtown for dinner.

Also, the food was bad. Like everything. Grisly gnarled chicken, inedible, dry cornbread, and nasty mac and cheese. I didn't try anything else because it was so gross. My family members also hated their food. Staff waited until the last minute to refill things as it seemed like someone is opting to cut some sharp corners. Again, I felt bad for everyone working there. It seemed busy enough to turn a profit, yet there was something depressing about the vibe.
