Was in town for my bonus son's college graduation, and since this is our last trip, we decided on Fatburgers. I luckily saw a promotion on Facebook for Mother's Day 2 meals for $20. The drive from the hotel was 20 minutes away. We arrived and the cashier greeted me and requested my order. I advised her I was having two original with cheese $1 extra and my bf also added bacon. I ordered the skinny and my bf ordered the fat fries. We ended with Flops aka Arnold Palmers. We seated ourselves and they gave us a stand with our number. The burgers were done within minutes no more than 8 minute wait. Burgers were freshly prepared, bun fresh, meat seasoned, crispy vegetables. The burgers were on point, crazy it really didn't need mayo. The fries crunchy, had the opportunity to taste both 5/5. This place is so mid. $17 for a meal. I went about 7:30ish pm. Waited about 10-15 minutes in line. So you would think food would be fresh and hot. Nah, the burger was so lukewarm I had to heat up when I got home in the microwave. The fries tasted like they've been sitting. Like no fresh fries? We came here to try out a new place and left with a very bad taste in our mouth for the staff and manager plus ringing ears and a headache. 1. Asked about the secret menu items- know one knew what we were talking about. 2. Asked for the Frings- 1/2fry1/2 onion ring. Food brought out 1/2 cooked onion rings with no batter. Asked and my food was taken away to be brought out later with the comment "We don't do that" ok where was my choice then at the register to have 1 or the other. 3 AND MOST IMPORTANT- the music was so loud you could not hear the person across from you. My guy really loves burgers so we decided to take the drive to Riverview & check out Fat Burger. It's got a cool, urban-industrial vibe. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was interesting that they had wings, but they weren't on the menu. They was just a little placard on the counter. So my guy got the double burger, which was HUGE. Probably enough for three or four people Anyways, it was excellent. & freshly prepared. We also got the skinny fries and onion rings. Clearly we ordered too much food, so we had some to take home. My wings were good, not too big not too small. With 10 you can order two different flavors but with six you only get one choice I got the garlic Parm and medium. To me the garlic Parm needed more garlic. But that might be a personal preference. They were prepared well-crispy outside, tender inside. Great fresh juicy burgers. The lady at the cashier was friendly and funny. Food came out in a reasonable time. Don't expect instant food to come out instantly as they have signs that say perfection takes time. Honestly a little on the pricy side but if you order big you get your moneys worth. I can't review the food because after waiting 46 minutes, the employees had still failed to get out three burgers to me and my family. When: March 4, 2026, time: 7:30-8:20pm. No manager on duty. The employees serviced 14 cars in the drive through instead of the three remaining customer families inside. The short rotund, black hair with some facial hair, male counter attendant, wanted to blame that they just got hit by a crowd. However the only crowd was the drive through. You do not pass up the folks that paid and came inside to serve every car in the drive through! Poor customer service attitude and no meal produced. After I asked where my food was, told them how long it had been since I ordered, they served several more cars in the drive through so I asked for a complete refund and left. Money walking. We were excited to eat here. We waited until they had been open for a little while, then we decided to stop for lunch. There were 2 things in line when we arrived, several people and even more flies, 2 couples walked out because of them. They need fans at the door. It's Florida, and they will come in to chill. My husband paid $27.00 for large king burger meal and 1 kids meal burger and well I decided to make a free meal at home as I could not see us paying anymore on burgers and fries. The burgers were tasty and juicy I have no complaints on that. The family enjoyed it. We will be back as I would like to try the onion rings and the veggie burger. Is this really Lovie Yancey's "Fatburger" recipe? It was very difficult to believe that after trying it for the first time. I've never been to a Fatburger on the West Coast. I don't know what they are supposed to taste like. But, I doubt this is it. I've seen videos from Cali that show a thicker burger patty. The one I received was thinner. I had the Kingburger, which is the half pound version of the Fatburger. The bun was way smaller than the patty. The meat itself didn't have a whole lot of flavor. I can't even say it was juicy. Maybe this is one of those burgers that you have to order with cheese to make it delicious. I don't know. I ordered "The Works" which consists of shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, pickles, and relish. I normally add extra pickles to my burgers. I'm so glad I didn't do that this time. I'd prefer any other brand of dill pickle over the one that was on my burger. It just didn't live up to the hype for me. On a good note, the burger was hot & fresh when it arrived to my table. It's more of a fast casual restaurant than a fast food one. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table when it's ready. The dining room was clean. The service was good. I think the best thing for me was the Craig's Vegan Maui Banana shake that is made with cashew based ice cream. That tasted really good with the coconut whipped cream. They get an extra star just for having these vegan shake options. It was lighter than a traditional shake, and not as sweet as the regular one. Although, I must warn you. It took a long time for them to bring out the shake. The sweet potato fries were crispy, but dry. The sides are enough for 2 people. I couldn't eat it all. They have a Skinnyburger for those who are carb conscious. The beef patties become the bun. But hey, it's the burger and the price of the meal that was the deciding factor here. My meal came to around $24. That's because it was a little over $9 for that vegan shake. I know... you pay higher for vegan ($4 more versus a regular shake). But still, that's high for a burger meal. They have an OG Fatburger (no cheese) meal that comes with fries and a drink for a little over $13. That's the lowest priced option unless you're getting a kid's meal. I'd say the meal combo may be worth it for some. I'd go back if a friend or family member invites me. However, I wouldn't get the Fatburger. read more

During my visit I decided to order through drive thru, unaware that I would be in line 27 minutes. Once I got to the window I asked the young lady, is the food made upon ordering. She replied yes, therefore the reason for the long delay. I'm okay with my food being made to order cause that means it should be fresh. Nope, once I received my food it was cold. I mean my burger was less than room temperature but I was already on the highway and ready to get home. I attempted to call to complain, but no one ever answered the phone. Atleast if the service is going to be painfully slow, the food should be warm and correct. When we got there they informed everyone that they were not making shakes today. I presume due to the long waits. We ordered anyways. After waiting atleast 15-20mins for our order, to which we had to ask about our food, all the burgers were cold and my burger which I paid extra for chili was missing the chilli.
