Food was ok, but I feel like I could have gotten better quality at a major fast food chain. My patty was cold, the lettuce tasted old and the bun was fine. Not worth the price in my opinion. On a lighter note, the inside was well light and clean. The surface's of the tables and counters were clean as well. Did not use the bathroom so I'm unsure about that. read more

Just as good as when I lived in Cali. A real burger with quality ingredients. I have to say I'm more shocked at the location they chose to open at because I feel the demographics doesn't fit for this quality of food. But it was definitely worth the hour drive from Tampa. Onion rings are great better than the steak fries which aren't bad I just like the onion rings. It was my first time and Zoe or Zoey helped me with everything and made sure I had everything and the food was good. She came back when I was finished to make sure everything was good. I have never had anyone help me and make sure I was satisfied with everything. I asked her if she was the manager and she said no. I told her she should be. very average. it's not bad but i think any burger joint could top them. it's ironic they're called "fat" burger when i've had burgers from everywhere that has left me overfilled. the buns weren't buttered or toasted and just grabbed straight by the grocery store. they don't have a signature taste, it just taste something i can make at home for cheaper. the service was over the top, they were quiet busy with the drive thru, but i felt taken care of. i do recommend just getting a kids meal at culver's, you get a burger, fries drink, and ice cream for $8+.. read more

Tried this pretty late around 10pm. About 4 cars in front of us in the drive thru. Service was pretty fast considering the line. The food was pretty good. The bun felt like they just took it from the bag and didn't warm it or toast it or anything. Not my favorite burger but if I go back I'd like to try some other items off their menu. read more

First time dining at any franchise. Bum meat and toppings. Alllhigj quality and fresh. Fries and onion rings excelllemt. The name best. Described the size of the size of the sandwich, as the patty was lean and dry. The staff was accommodating and made a second one for me with the same set and beginning char texture. That must be presentation. Prefer 5 guys , but even there the burgers are cooked more than before, maybe an industry standard for safety. read more

Hubby and I went here for a day date and loved it. This was our first visit. The building was pretty big. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff who all seemed friendly and hard at work. The menu was huge. There were plenty of tables (indoor and our doors). It was a little overwhelming ordering but this was again our first time going. The wait was short. We found a table immediately and within 10 minutes two of the staff brought our food over. Ahh where to start with Fatburger....well location is super convenient to me as I live in the apartments right behind Fatburger. Which had me super excited because a late night burger really hits the spot from time to time. However l, my excitement was fully squandered upon my visit to Fatburger. It was around 8:30pm when I was going through the drive through (which was somehow extremely unorganized and chaotic to get to, and I was the only car there even!), saw the prices on the menu and was quite shocked at how much they were charging for burgers and fries etc. I normally don't balk at prices but these were def higher than I would have expected (charge extra for cheese in a cheeseburger!) , but no problem, order the regular burger and a side of sweet potato fries, nothing too crazy. We place the order and drive up and I kid you not, (again the only car in the drive thru), it took 13 minutes to complete our order. Mind you this was also after they had been open for what I would expect to allow for operations and procedures to be running smoothly. But alas I was wrong. This was frustrating because something I anticipated taking 3-5 min took 15, and I know that's not a LONG time, but for a place with a drive thru it certainly is. NOW I would have been a little more forgiving if the burger and fries were actually good. The burger was dry and really not that great of flavor either and the fries had an odd flavor, can't really put my finger on it but, not something I'd eat again. I would have preferred a mcdonalds burger for the price, time, and flavor, unfortunately. Maybe my expectations were too high and maybe there were still some opening pangs, but I have no reason to return to Fatburger. read more

For reference I went at around 6pm on a Saturday and the line was almost out of the door. And the dining room was packed. I loved how they had an employee greeting everyone in line and giving us the run down on the menu and the history of the company as we waited. I went to try their vegan options and I was so excited for the vegan shakes but unfortunately they were out of the vegan ice cream by this time. Butt I really wanted a shake and settled for the dairy option. But the impossible burger was yummy, they were also out of the gluten free buns. But the regular buns were decent. And the vegan sliced cheese was pretty good if you're considering adding it to your burger! The fat burger employee raved about how fresh the food was and while the burger and condiments were really good. The sweet potato fries were pretty lukewarm. But delicious and still crispy so I'd definitely order those again and suggest you all try them. I'll also be back for another impossible burger and the vegan shakes! The cookies and cream regular shake was pretty tasty. And if you're going on the weekend I suggest getting there early to get a good pick of what you want to try. And to possibly avoid the crowds. The dining room ambiance is pretty busy on the weekends. And maybe go through the drive thru if you want to avoid crowds even though you may still be waiting a minute. Where do I begin? I came with great expectations to try this location once it opened because I only moved here six months ago from LA. I know how awesome a Fatburger can be. Whoever scored this franchise has disavowed me of that notion. Every. Single. Time. Today we're waiting now 45 minutes for a turkeyburger & chili cheese dog. Two weeks ago, they were out of turkeyburgers in the middle of the day & suggested coming back the next day. You're always sold out of Veggieburgers. Opening week, we tried the drive through window & got cold skinny fries with our hot burgers. Burgers we had to pull over & wait 10 minutes for. My hubby is still a fan. I used to be but no more. Dozens of people are sitting inside with us right now holding down tables, waiting on their food. "You can't rush perfection" my butt. More like "Mediocrity lives here." I won't be coming back. And I hope you lose your franchise rights. This places gives every other Fatburger a bad name. Oh. And ambiance? Too noisy ( I think y'all are piping in the sound btw) and the tables need a wipe down. Good luck figuring out how to stay popular with other customers. You'll never see me here again. read more

Great place to grab a very good burger and sweet potato fries. Great service and very friendly. The burger is too notch full of flavor great seasoning on it. I had the skinny burger with out a bun and sweet potato fries both was awesome. My wife had her Bacon cheese burger with fries. She said that was one of the best burgers she has had in awhile. I'm not sure how I feel about this place. I went through the drive-through. The line was kind of long, but once you make it to the window, you realize everything is cooked fresh. The young lady at the window was very kind. It took a few minutes to get the food which wasn't bad but upon reaching my home and trying it for the first time I just wasn't impressed it needed some thing the burger I had was supposed to have the works, but The meat I don't know if it was because it was too well done or it needed seasoning or something it just wasn't that great and my husband had a impossible burger that he wasn't thrilled with either the onion rings were about the best part of that meal, I have heard of Fatburger before in other states, it was good to see if there was something different about them versus other burger joints.... Went at 1pm on a weekday and there was no wait to order though the dining room was 80% full. Interior is new and clean. Wait time was reasonable for freshly cooked burgers. Since it was my first visit I ordered my burger as is with "the works." I felt like it was too many toppings and actually detracted from the taste of a well cooked beef patty. Next time I'd skip the relish and mustard. The burger was well cooked, I'd put it on par with somewhere like Five Guys. I got the skinny fries which were hot, crisp, and well salted. Waited in drive through 20+ minutes there was only us and the car in front of us, it was approximately 4pm. Of course when we pulled up to the window they handed us our food immediately, which was of course super cold which made it terrible, burgers were sloppy. I'd give zero stars. Had to see what all the fuss was about so on a trip to Tampa this week, tried Fatburger. Comprehensive menu with lots of options. Went for Kingburger (1/3 lb). Lots of toppings (think In n Out and Whataburger). Burger filled the 5" bun all the way around, nice thick patty. After waiting 5+ mins, burgers were served Cold. Like, what was I waiting on?? Way too many employees stumbling over each other. Hold the salt please. Burger had enough seasoning for 2 patties. Skinny fries were good and single order was enough for 2 people. Pros: The burgers were good (even though both my daughter and I ordered ours with NO ONIONS, they still came WITH onions. Scraped off the sauce containing the chopped onions... crisis averted. Fries were hot. Friendly staff. Cons: We we're greeted by "Fat Boss," as we progressed through the line. Although the history of Fatburger was nice to know, I think he could have been more useful elsewhere, as in; double-checking all orders before they go out to tables, timing the delivery of milkshakes and food to be more in sync. We noticed most folks completely finished their milkshakes long before the food arrived, my husband included. This has the potential to be a great place. They need to work out the kinks and utilize manpower more effectively. Hopefully, once the newness dies down, it won't be so chaotic. read more

Been here a few times now and It's amazing every single time. Pretty convenient location with plenty of parking. The interior is very clean and I love the colors, reminds of of old burger joints with all the bright blue and red. Service is great, you order in the front and take a seat. The food comes fairly quick and it's super fresh and hot. I've tried their crispy, grilled, and cajun chicken sandwiches and love all of them. My personal favorite is the Cajun, has a nice kick to it. Their fat fries are very unique and fun to eat, however, I prefer the classic skinny fries. Sprinkle some salt and pepper and dip in ketchup they're perfect. Paired with an ice-cold Pepsi it's the perfect meal. The only suggestion I have is that I wish they had some other sauces available, but thats just me. A signature sauce, or buffalo and barbeque to go along with fries and other sides and sandwiches would seal the deal for me. Highly recommend. read more

Coming from California I was happy to see this place as we drove down the road in the way to my son's baseball game and decided we'd stop in on the way back for dinner The place in San Diego is fantastic. The one in Vegas is amazing. I'd eat all day long at those places. This place is not the same Fat Burger. It was a solid 4. Nothing memorable or special. Dry patty. Undercooked fat fries. Went for the impossible plant based vegetarian burger option to see how good they could be with their vegetarian options and met with the saltiest taste in the burger patty. I've cooked plenty of vegan burgers at home and they are never this salty so something they're doing is making a burger taste salty? Burgers are not supposed to taste salty. They always seem to be "sold out" of the veggie burger patty option. Okay? C'mon. You are not keeping this option in stock for patrons, are you? The only redeeming thing about my visit was their fat fries. I'm glad they didn't put salt on those so I could have something to tame my extremely salty burger with.
