I won't make this mistake again. I popped over to Zaxby's on Super Bowl Sunday seeking a tasty snack hours ahead of a game-day party. I was lured in by their perpetual ads on Spotify touting "Southern Fried Shrimp for a limited time only!" The cashier had NO idea what I was talking about. So he offered & sold me the standard shrimp meal off the menu ( the receipt does says Southern Fried) And it was meh. I waited several minutes for my order which implies it might be freshly made. Boy was I wrong. The fries were room temperature and limp. The shrimp was cold, minuscule ( think thumbnail) and flavorless. I guess it was fried in unseasoned batter. Nothing Southern or special about it. I'm doing the survey published on their receipt so higher-ups know how disappointing this entire experience was. Started eating at Zax for the chicken fingers which are amazing. Graduated to their salads, the best around, including the all-time winner, the Zensation. This is an Asian type salad right down to the egg roll it comes with instead of the Texas Toast. What once was an occasional temp menu item has been elevated to full time status....YAY! You can even buy extra egg rolls- highly recommend...the best around including those from Chinese take outs. Recently had our teen age grandsons overnight..what 5o feed them? Zaxby chicken fingers. Rather than get individual meals they have a Zax pac box with 20 fingers, double large fries, 4 pieces texas toast and 4 dipping sauces. Price? $30.99 A good deal. Brought it home and everyone was happy and we had more than enough. The size of the box was amazing. Love Zax. They have a reward program so you earn free food, always a good thing. read more

Came in for a quick lunch and was very pleased with the service I was provided. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Big Zaxby's Snack and it was a fair portion, it used to be a larger serving but with rises in cost and profit margins, price has gone up and portions have gone down. The dining room was clean as well as the bathrooms. Glad they are ensuring the area is clean for their patrons. I will definitely be back to this location. read more

I tried Zaxby's for the first time today. I've heard amazing things about their salads but opted for something else today. Large serving for $15, too! The Buffalo wings were really good, and I didn't expect that at a fast-food drive-thru. The tenders were crispy but did seem like maybe it was time to change the grease. Loved their Zaxby sauce. A lot of food for a reasonable price. The drive-thru had a long wait, but the girl at the window apologized and was very nice. I'll be back! read more

worker named serena was extremely disrespectful to me they forgot a part of my order and she came to the window and tried to deny that it wasn't in there and was extremely rude and i showed her all the contents in the bag and that it was missing and asked for the manager and she said i am the manager in a super disrespectful tone then closed the window on me and came back with my missing items. i'm not the type to leave a review but the experience was genuinely extremely weird and uncomfortable and unprofessional.. read more

First time at this chain of chicken places. While the restaurant was open, airy and clean the chicken was just ok. Wasn't overly impressed with the quality and breading. Fries were soggy and not the best I've ever had. I'd you like a wide choice of drinks from their dispenser your in luck but as far as "great" chicken you might leave disappointed? read more

I'm staying in the Extended Stay next-door and Zaxby's garbage blows into the parking lot here. The garbage also blows into the pond next door, which is the only bit of nature in this huge shopping complex. Zaxby's Styrofoam containers, styrofoam cups, plastic bags, paper, condiments, hairnets - all in the pond. Don't give money to this trashy business. read more

I love a good grilled chicken sandwich and Zaxby's is the best. And I've tried them all. I'm not sure what makes them so great but their flavor is delicious and I've never had an unripe tomato slice on one of their sandwiches. Service is usually fast through their drive thru. The one downside for this "green world" participant is the over use of styrofoam in their to-go packaging. Zaxby's could be a near-perfect restaurant if they'd address this issue. read more

Three of us went to Zaxby's for lunch on Sunday. First, we saw that they only offered two salads instead of the four different one's previously offered. My wife and I each ordered the Cobb salad and our friend ordered the house salad. When we got to our table, the first thing we noticed is they aren't as big as before and there didn't seem to be as much chicken as before. Overall, they weren't bad, lettuce was fresh and crisp, however the chicken was barely lukewarm. Lunch at Zaxby's. It took 20 minutes to get our salads. When I picked up the salad I mentioned the long wait- was told it was because we ordered a "grilled" chicken. So if you want fried you are getting fast food. No fast food for grilled. This is a first for me. Never had this problem at any other Zaxby's. So my fried house salad was cold - yep even the bread. My husband and I order from the drive-thru frequently and service is always friendly and quick. Our favorite thing to order is the Wings and Things platter with the sweet and spicy sauce. Both traditional and boneless are great options but our preference is traditional almost every time. There salads are also tasty and always fill us up. My go to is the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. Portions have never been an issue with us, we are always stuffed after. Dined in once and the service was great! read more

I do not like leaving bad reviews and while the food is always good and that's what keeps me coming back to Zaxby's, the service here through the drive-through needs some serious renovation. It's always extremely long and when you get up to the window there's never a greeting or asking how you are it's just take your money hand you your food and drive off. The one time that I used the app to order ahead it was done in less than 10 minutes and when I went inside to pick up my order, the cashier was super friendly and asked if I needed anything else and it was just a completely different experience. I guess if I want to continue visiting this location ordering ahead via the app is going to be the way to go because the drive-through just doesn't work. read more

I love eating at Zaxbys until today. I picked up a 20 piece tender meal and nibbler for my family and when I got home there was no nibbler and the tenders were burned. I called the restaurant amd spoke to the manager who had a very i don't care attitude. She offered me a tender meal even though i explained i had 20 tenders that were inedible. I questioned what she said and she was like oh they were burned. She obviously didnt listen or care. Very disappointing. We live too far to just go back. She did put me down for a replacement 20 tender but the lack of caring is very disheartening. read more

What's not to love about Zaxbys. The food is always great. Service is a hit or miss but that's a given with fast food restaurants. This location is always clean. My food always comes out fresh. I have no complaints. My fav is the Zaxby's club sandwich combo. It comes with 3 chicken tenders on Texas toast with bacon, cheddar, lettuce and tomatoes. I opt out of the Zaxbys sauce because I'm not a fan of mayonnaise but bbq sauce does the trick! It also comes with some fries and a drink. Very filling. I love the fact that they put season salt on their fries too! It's one of my top fav fast food restaurants! You should definitely check it out! read more

I went here for lunch while I was working and ordered a fried chicken cesar salad and large soda for $12. The drive thru was not too busy, and I figured it wouldn't take long because all I ordered was a salad... I was wrong. I am allowed 40 minutes for my break and I spent every minute waiting for my food. After 30 minutes, someone came out and asked what I ordered. 10 minutes later, I finally received my salad. I can only assume they forgot to make my food. I would be shocked if it took 40 minutes for a salad at a sit down restaurant, but this is a "fastfood" establishment. When I finally got my food, what I was given was definitely not a $12 salad. There was very little parmasean and no croutons, it was small, and every bite tasted like bacon, which is usually not even in a cesar salad. I did not finish my meal, which is good I guess, because I didn't have time to eat anyways. Unfortunately, this place gets 1 star because they failed on pretty much every level. But, no one was around to assist her to give her the approval to do so. We received cold food in which we threw out once we got home because it was not worth eating! Never met a Zaxby's I didn't like! Now we have one 10 minutes from my house! Yeah! By far the best chicken fingers around. PDQ and Popeye's don't come close. These fingers are always large and juicy. Fries creamy and yummy. Think KFC for the coleslaw. And they give you a hunk of buttery Texas toast to accompany your dinner. Some of Zax's honey mustard sauce to dip them fingers in and you're all set! They also have amazing salads, which I also love.
