This location has always historically had the worst customer service from my experience but now with the convenient blanket excuse of COVID this location has let their standards fall sharply. 21 Months after COVID started and all cases are as low as other viruses such a the Flu that excuse is no longer valid. The other surrounding Chick-Fil-A's are fully operational. Today while waiting I noticed numerous employees standing around idle with nothing to do while watching the other employees climbing ontop of each other to bag orders, fill drinks, and make shakes. There not one single employee wearing a mask or barrier to prevent the spread of COVID which is not a sticking point for me but makes the claim of closed dining room because of COVID or short staff completely invalid. When it was my turn to order I did so with another customer ordering literally elbow to elbow with me (we actually bumped elbows at one point). There is should be note that myself and the other customer did not have masks on and neither did the 2 employees at the registers 3 feet from us. When ordering the employee did not want to hear what sauces were needed for our food and was very short with me when I asked about them. He acted as if I inconvenienced him by asking. Then after order was placed it was realized that they were all out of shakes. One of their main staples and one the company pays handsomely to promote on many media platforms. None of the employees know why the dining room is closed. They could only cite that their operating manager has it closed. The funny part is that it isn't closed to the unmasked employees from using them or for them to store their beverages out in the open. If it were a safety aspect I would assume it wouldn't be safe for employees either. I am firm in my belief that this operator simply does not want to open the dining room because he can save money on cleaning supplies, refills, and sauces. Maybe I am wrong and they will respond on here giving a legitimate reason other than Safety, COVID, or Staff Shortages as I have proven are invalid based on what can be seen inside. 2 Stars simply because its Chick-Fil-A food. Otherwise it would be 1 Star for this location. Mr. Cathy would be ashamed of them using his brand name. read more

Busy busy Chick-fil-A but line moves super fast. Employees are friendly and very efficient. I get drive thru from this location often. My only issue is every time i order they only give me one sauce per item! My last visit i got a chicken sandwich, nuggets and two fries. they only gave me two sauces of my requested sauce.. honey bbq. I always forget to ask for more but if you are getting more than one entree items you should get more then 1 sauce per. read more

He got a side salad added egg and I got a 6 piece nugget for the chicken and the dressing I wanted! He made it work! He told me their was a issue and quickly gave me the solution and this is why I will continue to throw my money at this restaurant. Of all the chicken fast food restaurants, this chain is the best in my opinion. Why? The flavor of the breading is just perfect for my taste. The cost is reasonable and service is quick. More often than not we end up going through the drive through at the Valrico Chick-fil-A and the line moves fairly quickly. I usually order for several people so I offer a warning to check your order before you leave. They seem to get something wrong around 25% of the time. I tend to order the chicken nuggets most of the time. Probably because there is the highest ration of breading to chicken. A personal preference, but I specify "well done." This either makes them better or burnt, depending on who is on the fryer. When we have a gathering, I often order the medium or large tray of nuggets. The problem with the tray is that the nuggets tend to be a bit soggy by the time I get it home. We also like the regular breaded chicken sandwiches (if we aren't in the mood for the extra calories that come with the high breading to chicken ration of the nuggets). By default these come with pickels on the sandwich, which is not my thing. So in the parlance of the chain, I order: "One Chick no Pick." Consistency from outlet to outlet is spot on. Some of the Chick-fil-A's have a fancy climb and play area for the kids that is very well done, the one in Valrico being an example. Waffle potatoes are their version of french fries, which are also highly recommended. One caveat, all the chain is closed on Sundays, so plan your cravings accordingly. read more

When the greatest negative is that a mask is supposedly improperly worn for a problem that doesn't exist beyond the counter where customers are not required to wear a mask, defies logic and intelligence. Not to mention scientific proof! So customers should focus on what they go to Chick-fil-A to get which is first and formost, great food! However rather than finding something positive to comment about, it seems to be a game of "one-up-manship" to see who can complain more. Chick-fil-A scores 5 stars on what counts most. I was in a mood for some amazing food and amazing customer service, so of course I chose Chick-fil-A! My food was great and met my standards of this restaurant. Where it fell short was the service. The guy who took my order, Oscar, was wearing a mask properly and had all the manners I love about CFA. His coworkers, not so much. I even asked him why they aren't wearing their masks properly and was it not required to wear it the right way. He said he could answer for them, but he would be wearing his the proper way. I liked how he didn't chuck them under the bus. His attitude was great. Out of the team members outside who had masks on their person, only two out of the seven I saw were wearing them properly. Three had them under their chins and the two working the window, just had them covering their mouths and not their nose. Love how you can order just about any item in a bowl so it's gluten free. Yipee!! This is a great place to go for breakfast if you are gluten-free they are willing to accommodate your needs. I especially like the egg whites with grilled chicken with shredded cheese in a bowl. The service here is A + rated. Super friendly customer service and they always remember us. The cashier started off with a friendly attitude but when he turned away to get my drinks another worker stepped in and brusquely asked me to move on down. Since COVID, so many things have changed for restaurants. One thing that has not changed is Chick-fil-A's service. Today, I visited the Chick-fil-A drive-thru for dinner. This location's dining room is not open due to COVID. I received my food in less than five minutes after ordering. The food was warm and delicious. The employees were extremely nice and welcoming. This location is following COVID guidelines by having the employees wear masks and handing your food to you on a tray for limited contact. One of my favorite, if not my favorite, fast food restaurants. The chicken is always delicious and they have great frozen drinks. A hidden gem is their fruit parfait, it's not on the menu for some reason but they do have it. My only drawback is it's always a madhouse. No matter what day it is, they're always slam packed and it takes forever in the drive thru. It's hectic inside too.. even when they don't have a long line inside it seems like there's a million things going on. It's kind of stressful. Once you get your food, make sure you have everything because they've forgotten parts of my order before. The craziness won't stop me from going there though.
