I'm sorry but I can't remember the sweet woman who was working the register. I think her name was Mia but I'm not positive. When I got home our food was still hot and crispy! The burger was juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a smashburger, and the wings were really good too. I also like the thoughtful touch of them giving you disposable gloves so your hands don't get messy while eating -- small thing, but much appreciated. The food here is consistently good, which is why we keep coming back. The only thing I've found a little inconsistent is the mint lemonade. Sometimes it's great, other times I wish I'd skipped it. That said, the food itself is always on point. Service is really good too, so I'm only taking one star off for the lemonade.

I used to eat here often when The Red Bird was brand new. Back then, the portion sizes were…read moreactually fit for a human and left me feeling full, but now they are seriously lacking. I went there today to pick up an order I placed through Uber Eats. Usually, when you pick up an Uber Eats order yourself, they don't require a verification code. However, when I went to the front and gave my name to the cashier, she asked if I had proof of the order. I told her no, as I had ordered on my computer and didn't have a code. She insisted she needed verification. My phone wasn't working at the moment, which I don't blame her for, but the way she handled the situation was incredibly frustrating. I waited 20 minutes before I actually got my food. The cashier stood there talking on her phone, claiming she needed to ask her manager, but she never actually did. I didn't hear her explain the situation or ask anyone for help. Instead, she just stayed on her phone and eventually slid the food over to me. There was no apology for the wait, no "here you go," and no "have a nice day." She just slid it over with a smile while still chatting on her phone. It felt like she was purposely inconveniencing me. As soon as I mentioned that I had my ID to prove who I was, it was suddenly no issue, and she handed it over without ever checking with a manager. Very disappointing experience. While the food itself still tastes good, it is simply no longer worth the money or the poor treatment. I never expected over the top, bubbly customer service, the staff that used to work here would just get the job done without the fake enthusiasm, and that was perfectly fine. But there is a massive difference between a worker just trying to get through their shift and one who actively goes out of their way to keep you waiting while talking on the phone. Between the disrespectful service and the shrinking portions, this place just isn't what it used to be.

The lady at the counter that waited on us seemed a bit bored & perhaps unhappy to be there. So she was not a good first impression for us, lol. I ordered a beef shawarma & a side of fried mushrooms to share. I admit fried mushrooms are not exactly a common item given a Med menu. When they arrived I had to laugh. We received a large bowl with what looked like golden golfballs. These were literally large mushrooms that had been deep fried. There is no way these were healthy, but they tasted good line State Fair food, lol. The shawarma was surprisingly good for a fast food joint. The beef was of decent quality & the tehina sauce was tasty. Overall, not a bad experience.

With a kiosk/mobile order exclusive system, I was hopeful and thought thiis would streamline service but it doesn't. This is right off I-4 so I can only imagine how many people stop in for a quick bathroom break and a bite to eat... frustrating that it isn't such a "quick" pitstop after all. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since there were others waiting so 15 minutes later they called my number and placed 1 bag on the counter for me and walked away. only half my order came out (1 of 3 meals, 0 of 3 drinks.) Staff hid in the back the entire time so it takes quite some time to flag someone down with any issues or requests. When someone did come out and noticed I was still waiting by the counter, she questioned what I was missing so I listed it off and included all the sauce. She came back another 5 minutes later with just the drinks and no additional food or sauce. 25 minutes for some nuggets and milkshakes are just not it. I suggest to find another pitstop elsewhere. Update: just when I finally take a bite of my McChicken sandwich, I feel a kick- they gave me the spicy... LOL. Had to surprise me with one last flaw to the order. Touche, Mcdonalds.
