Christmas eve, 6:30 pm, people want to head to their homes to be with their families to celebrate. This Wendy's was open, there were about 8 cars in the drive through, and only one table on the inside that was busy. We pulled in and hoped for the best. We knew they were going to be stressed and very busy due to the holiday, but when I walked in, there was one woman waiting on her order, and 8 people behind the counter, being very discombobulated. I stood there for 5 minutes until the person handling the front counter turned around and noticed he had people. I didn't speak up because the line in the drive through needed expiditing. My order was taken without any fanfare, I waited a very short time, and by short, I mean I was only able to grab my handful of napkins and fill my soda at the fountain before it was up and ready on the counter. It's a fine location, our orders were fine, the fries were hot and the chicken nuggets had been sitting around for a while. Other than that, it was unremarkable. read more

I love Wendy's. That's why I sadly feel obligated to write this review -- with the hope that this location can bring itself up to the standard that the rest of the chain is (was?) at. We drove through on the way to Lakeland (35 minutes away). We ordered a burger with no pickles, a sour cream and chives baked potato, nuggets, fries, and a drink. The lady had a hard time hearing us, but that's hardly novel at a drive-through so it's not a big deal. Their Apple Pay wasn't working, and that's not a big deal either -- they had posted a sign at the drive-through so it wasn't a surprise. Pros: The fries weren't cold as they often are at fast food places; we got more than two napkins, more than we often do at other fast food places. That's it. Con number 1: the mask game at this location is terrible. Yes, we're all tired of wearing masks and of the pandemic in general. But that doesn't make it go away, and when the people making your food are either totally unmasked or have their masks literally under their chins (i.e., not covering nose or mouth), that's at least bad optics if not bad for public health. Every other fast food joint I've been to, with the exception of one Dairy Queen, has got this. This is a management problem, not an employee one. Con number 2: pickles on the "burger with no pickles". This is not unheard of, and I certainly wouldn't write a negative review about it if that were the only problem, but it's still bad service. Con number 3: No utensils for the potato. Repeat, they gave us a baked potato and nothing to eat it with. We were already on the freeway driving away before we looked for the utensils, so going back to ask for one was out of the question. As a result, it wasn't until we got home that my wife could eat her baked potato. This may surprise you, but it turns out that baked potatoes don't stay hot for 35 minutes. Con number 4: No sour cream with the "sour cream and chives baked potato". IT'S LITERALLY IN THE NAME. Please do better. read more

Thankfully I didn't order anything from this particular Wendy's, however I was with my friend picking up a Doordash order. When you pull in, you can't help but notice the sketch appearance and people that surround the place as it is right next to a very run down Motel 6. We had to go inside to pick up the order and the stench hits you like a brick wall... also not to mention this place is absolutely filthy on the inside and I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like. I'm surprised the health department hasn't closed this Wendy's down because I feel like I would get outright sick eating from here. read more

This is more a review of this location rather than the food itself. I had the BBQ pulled pork and a side salad. The quality of the food it comparable to what you'd get at any other Wendy's. That said, this location is in dire need of an update. It's basically a stripped down version of the stores Wendy's ran 20 years ago. The dining room is sparse at best and not in line with current Wendy's standards. Lastly, this is probably the slowest Wendy's I've ever been to. At lunch the line inside could take 20 minutes. I've not tried the drive through but the line there frequently snakes around the entire building. I suspect poor training is the problem but whatever it is,they could learn a thing or two from one of the company stores. read more

Swung through on my way back to work from an off-site meeting. Decided to try the new pretzel pub chicken - it's interesting. There's a lot going on between the chicken, muenster, salad blend, honey mustard, and cheese sauce. Was sort of like a full course meal in each bite. However, $7.91 for a small combo. Ouch. And traditional fast food chains wonder why fast casual is taking all of their business? I'd much rather go to a Panera type place for $8. Oh, and I'm already ordering a small combo. This location made me remember why I hate coming to Wendy's in the first place. Came here 9/13 and they messed up my order so I called when I got home and spoke with Alvin. Was told when I come back through to let them know he was replacing my meal. I go in to do so tonight and now they want me to come in. Terrible. Wanted a quick in and out lunch while babysitting a three and four year old. Mostly I like Wendy's because they have a great menu with healthier options. This Wendy's, quite frankly, b.l.o.w.s. Their lines were backed up both inside and out. The bathrooms were so dirty, as were the tables. Our food took thirty-five minutes!! If we hadn't had kiddos with us who were hungry, I would have left but that was not an option. We did receive a refund after asking, at least. But were given no explanation and/or apologies for the long wait and delay. I will not be going back to this particulatar Wendy's again. Ever. read more

Went to Wendy's this morning around 8:55am. They advertise on their doors, widows and online that they don't open until 9am. Seeing this I simply waited patiently until 9am and a while after so they can set up (I'm a reasonable person) so I waited and waited some more. After waiting 15 minutes after they opened (which might not seem long but for a drive-thru it is) I took 2 laps around the drive-thru hoping they would see me or thinking it would set off a notice inside but nothing. I saw people inside so I proceeded to the drive-thru window. The reason I have created an account and written this review is because when I went to the window and at this point it had been well over 20 minutes and 2 employees made eye contact with me and just walked away! The first employee actually walked by the window several times and just ignored me! I was so upset I drove away went to McDonald's 5 minutes away, got my food and drove right back past Wendy's in less time it took Wendy's to ignore me! So rude and so unprofessional!!! read more

Stopped on my way south on I-4. They charged me $1.89 for a cup of ice water in the drive thru. That same cup of water would be free inside any restaurant. Poor service, as they also got my order with no tomatoes incorrect. read more
