Just came from the dr's office and I wasn't feeling good. That when we encountered Fred at Chick-fil-a and he couldn't have been nicer and helped myself and my family with the menu and ordering. He checked back to make sure are order was correct and it was perfect. I had the chicken sandwich with Colby jack cheese and macaroni and cheese. Everything was hot and fresh and good. My Mom had a bowl of the chicken noodle soup. She loved it and it was nice and hot. My brother Jonathan had the nuggets with ranch and fries. He said they were on point! The ambiance is a little better and definitely cleaner than a normal fast food place. Hope to see Fred there next time we come in the restaurant. read more

I usually get a grilled chicken sandwich-hard to mess up. Husband and I got something erroneously called chicken nuggets. They were bits of fried bread crumbs with barely a mouthful of chicken in all 8 nuggets. The pic someone posted with an m&m to show the size was not kidding. Everything was amazing here yesterday!!! We walked in and started to head up to the counter and someon came up quickly and asked us to please have a seat if we were dining in.. they came over seconds after we sat and took our order and any other items we might need condiment wise returned quickly with a bag of all of our condiments and som mints and napkins and food.. It was hot and delicious of course it's hard to get a #1 wrong but they definitely made it amazing.. they had flowers at all of the tables and there was constant cleaning and checking to make sure all was good.. the bathrooms are clean as well.. we'll be back to this one when we're in the area read more

We all know Chick-Fil-A is a well-oiled machine, and this South Lakeland location is no different. The greatness that has come to be expected at any CFA is as present here as ever. The drive-thru lines can get ridiculously long at times, with 3 different lanes! And they still get everyone's orders down and paid for super swiftly and I've never had to wait more than maybe 15 minutes to get my food and be on my merry way, which is crazy impressive. I've also picked up DoorDash orders there a bunch and done a curbside pickup order of my own, and most of the time they are very quick about coming right to your car with the food. At times it can take a bit longer than preferred, but I mean like I said before they can get soo busy and there's just always a constant flow of people so it's understandable they won't always be A++. And the workers are super sweet and friendly, as is the CFA way. One other thing that's very minor is the parking lot can be pretty chaotic especially at lunchtime randomly enough, just the way it's set up and with so many customers all the time it's like the least organized thing there, but not a huge deal. Went through the Chick-Fil-A drive thru that is normally long, but fast, I should have known when the line wasn't king to keep going. The food was quick, but first they tried to give me the wrong order, then I got my correct order, I asked specifically if the receipt and straw were in the bag, of course the answer was yes, but guess what? Went to Chik Fil A with my husband and my best friends. Had dinner was delicious. Our food came out quickly. We met a young man named Nicholas who was awfully sweet and attractive. He asked us if we were ok and made sure we had what we needed. I asked for another honey bbq sauce and got it. We talked to him and he said he's been with the company for over two years. He has a very good sense f customer service. Very polite very knowledgeable. With the menu. I spoke to the manager on duty raved about him. The restaurant was clean filled with so many people. By far the worst chick fil a I've ever been to. They do not know how to operate a drive thru.

I had ordered a peach milkshake, but when I tried it it tasted like vanilla. I was hesitant to speak up but I did and I'm very impressed with the employees here. The employee who had my shake replaced was named Harrison. He was very nice and understanding. I come to this Chick Fil A a lot due to being treated for cancer and having check ups on my recovery and I fully intend on coming to this location every chance I get. read more

Hey, it's CFA, and the food quality is consistent no matter where you go. The service is too. Cashiers, servers and cleaners are always friendly. Place definitely looks much cleaner than you average fast food joint. Prices and menu item seem about the same too. I got a #7 - grilled chicken club, which was $9.20 after tax. Good stuff! That being said, this place isn't perfect. It's definitely One of the most cramped CFAs I've been to. There's probably the same amount of square footage as other stores but everything is compacted here. Even the ordering queue is so cramped that the line snakes out into the dining area. They should implement a bank style queue with just one line and the next person goes to the next available cashier. Even the parking lot and drive thru is a bit of a cluster. Still, a less than stellar CFA is better than your average McDonald's or Wendy's. read more

We met with friends last night to have dinner at Chic-fil-A. We arrived at 430 before it got too busy. Easy parking at this time, although when it's busy, parking is a pain in the rear! We got right in, ordered, and had our choice of seats. This wasn't the case for the poor saps that wandered in at around 515. Our food arrived quickly and was super tasty! Kid had the kids meal; she went with the 6-piece instead of the 4 because she remembered how teeny tiny the nuggets are. But, she only ended up eating almost 4 of them so.... I had the spicy southwest salad. That thing is so good! It's full of flavor and texture, it's a decent size and that dressing is spicy and wonderful. It also is made with grilled chicken rather than fried. Why do I care when their chicken is always yum? Here's why; it states right on the menu that they use peanut oil to fry their fried chicken. So, that's a no for me. My peanut allergies are mild compared to others so if you're in that category, ASK about what would be safe for you to eat, if anything. Now, I've never been a super chic-fil-a lover. I've not been dissatisfied, I'm just not one of those "Omg it's Chic-Fil-A" people. But the winner here is the staff! So nice that even the kid recognized how friendly they are. And fast! I'm not sure how they manage to get a two time wrap around drive thu line taken care if so quickly but they do it! I think one thing that might be appreciated in the area, because so many people do love it so much, is another location. This is the greatest Chick-Fil-A I've ever been to. The food always comes fast (I usually dine-in) and is hot and fresh. The staff is super nice, and never had a problem with anyone. The only problem I've had is when they carry out my order to the tables and they miss us sometimes. They usually only go around a few tables and not the whole restaurant. Hadn't been to this restaurant since the remodel. It was packed. Went on a whim and apparently went through the app order line. The attendant was nice however we didn't know what we wanted so she had to go find a menu which we weren't allowed to touch but was so small it was hard to read from a distance. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and an 8 count nuggets combo. We then picked up our order and drove to parking place to eat it. We received 2 8 counts and no sandwich. We decided Just to eat it. The fries were warm but the chicken was cool and dry. After the Disney ride-like line and the mediocre food it is unlikely that we will return to this restaurant.
