Food is still definitely fresh. The chicken was kind of greasy though. Everything was good. I still prefer the chicken to be crispier personally. My husband got the spicy tenders and I got regular crispy ones to share with my daughter. The fries are tasty and the macaroni and cheese is super cheesy and delicious. Service is fine, it was late and there weren't a ton of people seated to eat. They have kiosks to order from and no one was at the front counter so we did that. We asked someone to wipe the table down since it was greasy and had crumbs and he came out quickly to clean it for us. Today my son and I came in for lunch. We ordered and paid for our food at the kiosk. We both ordered spicy chicken meals, however when our orders arrived there were no fries, just sandwiches and our drinks. I asked one of the employees if this meant that meals do not include fries and he didn't seem to know. Anyhow, I had to pay seven dollars and change extra for 2 fries that should have been included in the price of the meals or some note that meals only include the sandwich and a drink. They weren't delivering quality today. I love PDQ and they always have great food. I was finally able to convince my fiancé to go when we had her niece and nephew. We decided to eat in since we had them and wanted to have hot food instead of cold when we got home. Only one person could manage the register and 2 people just walked by us as we waited. The girl at the register was polite though and patient with the kids. Upon getting the food most of it was cold. 2 of my tenders were room temperature, luckily the other 2 were hot. Not sure what was going on there. My fiancés mac was cold, less than room temperature. Her nieces chicken sandwich was also cold. Her nephew had no complaints. we always go to PD cues and this one time that I'm leaving PD cues. They literally don't put the lid on the honey mustard and they didn't give us any napkins so that we could clean up the mess. I'm not sure why PD cues is not providing customers with napkins, but I think that's a really inexpensive way to keep customers happy and clean. And if you guys do provide napkins with each meal, the drive-through person is not providing them for the customers that come through .. Every PDQ I've been to has been the same in regards to quality. The food is always excellent, the employees polite and efficient and the restaurant clean and neat. This particular PDQ did not disappoint. My husband and I opted for bowls this time, instead of our usual sandwich choices. He had the Thai Peanut and I had the Grilled Chicken Cali Bowl. Both were quick to be served and were hot and fresh. He enjoyed his but I think mine was the best. Everything was seasoned just right. When PDQ first came to Lakeland, I thought they had excellent food. That was quite a few years ago. We had lunch there today and were very disappointed in the food. They weren't busy at all. The buns were cold and the chicken was barely warm. The seasoning was way too salty. And the zucchini fries were awful, soggy and tasteless. The fountain drink was good though. Recommended. Stopped in July 1, 2021 about 1pm, to order takeaway. I got the featured sandwich, a Four Rivers BBQ themed sandwich. I have eaten here a few times and liked the salads offered, also chicken fingers. The sandwich was the best fried chicken sandwich I've had to date, anywhere. It's much better than McD's & Chick-fil-a. It had a nice crunch and the sauce was superb. The guacamole was a nice touch, as was the red cabbage. The spicy pepper jack added a little heat, although it could have been the sauce contributing to the nice spiciness of the sandwich. The sandwich comes nestled in a ready-to-bite manner with wax paper, tucked in a cardboard box. It all held together as I walked back to work. If I made it at home, I'd add more red cabbage to hold the sandwich together, because it's a little on the slippery side. I tried tater tots for a nominal upcharge, instead of the included waffle fries, and I tried the buffalo bleu sauce. The tater tots were a little too crumbly for dipping, so I dumped the sauce on top and that worked out well. It's got a little spice and bits of bleu cheese bobbing in the sauce. It's a really good sauce, and probably would have been good with chicken fingers or on a sandwich. The drinks machine is one of those Coca-Cola mixers with like a zillion flavors, lots of fun. read more

Hang in there!! The wait was longer than usual but many restaurants are feeling this staff shortage, but they handled an extreme rush very well. I counted, 2 people on expo, 2 cooks, one prep, one drive thru, one lobby person taking orders. Line was backed up to the door, and drive thru was wrapped around the building! The Manager on duty was calm, she coached her young staff on how to navigate the rush and continually communicated, and encourage them! I was impressed! I use to love pow but it's on the other side of town so it's been a while. Their fries have changed to waffle and they aren't as good, their sauces are in a container half the size it use to be and the frie serving was really small compared to other comparable places. And our tenders were a bit over cooked. They aren't nearly as friendly either. My husband ordered tater tots (at an up charge) they gave him fries instead I let the lady know who brought our food too us. She quickly said sorry about that and turned around and walked away. When she came back she had a whole new order instead of just fries then took my husbands food while he was eating one of his tenders!!! And gave him the new thing and just walked away!!!! If you've got a PDQ anywhere near you, do yourself a favor and go eat there. My dad lives in Lakeland Florida and every time I visit him I make it a point and a mission to hit up this PDQ at least once before leaving. They specialize in chicken tenders and they have some of the freshest and best tasting tenders you'll eat anywhere and the way they implement the tenders into other meals is absolutely fantastic. I typically get the Buffy Bleu which has two tenders covered in buffalo sauce essentially topped with lettuce and bread, (yes it's a sandwich). It's one of the best chicken sandwiches you'll have anywhere. I hope, absolutely hope, that one day a PDQ makes it somewhere near louisville ky, I'd drive a good ways to make it to one. Every experience I've had at this location has been great. Keep it up and don't lose the charm. And if you guys are reading this, once again, louisville would be a great location for a PDQ. PDQ has fantastic service and speed. The chicken does taste very fresh. However it is not my favorite chicken on the planet. The French fries are alright but need dipping sauce. The restaurant always appears very clean and well taken care of. I appreciate that they offer discounts to teachers when they show an ID. I wish they had more options for sides such as mashed potatoes. The tater tots are alright. PDQ can stand on its own two feet. It's a place where you either love the type of chicken or you don't. The service and overall quality is excellent. I tend to be very particular when it comes to chicken. Everybody I know who's been to PDQ LOVES it. I would at least give it a try. read more

Never had it, so we thought we'd give it a shot! And you know what? We liked it! It's pretty loud and busy but the food is tasty, folks are nice, and the prices are decent. They've got drive thru, if you're in a time crunch and loads of seating inside of you want to sit for a spell. They have the absolute best ranch dressing for their salads that I believe I have ever tasted. The chicken nuggets are pretty good, they are rather greasy at times but full of flavor. Somebody here actually knows how to make it right! Perfectly sweetened and you can still taste the tea without being overpowered by sugar. I was a little disappointed in my visit here. I had been there during their grand opening and the food was fresh and delicious. This time the quality seemed to be a little less, service was less memorable and my overall experience was underwhelming over all. Having said that, I actually would still recommend this restaurant/location as it is a nice clean facility and the menu has something for everyone. The service is crazy fast The restaurant is clean and bright, lots of natural light The kitchen is wide open so you can see everything There's a hand washing station in the corner of the dining room Bathrooms are very clean And the food is amazing!
