Finally tried this place and it was so good. We've already been back two more times. The Italian sub is amazing! We will be back.

I want to go back and try the sandwiches. I walk with a cane and I appreciate the food delivered to my table.

This place needs some TLC. Location is super dark inside. There was one 3 top before us that was already seated and yet it still took almost 25 minutes to get our food. It's not they cook anything. Literally a 1/2 club royal and a cup of soup. It took me less time to eat the food then waiting on it. My club royal had the sauce on it whereas my wife's didn't. My daughter got some kind of salad with chicken and 1/2 of the lettuce was bad. Very disappointing. read more

We had the muffalada and short of going to New Orleans it wasn't too bad! The other sandwiches looked great and the soup station and salad bar were enticing. The free ice cream was cold and good. Overall we'd return when back in the area. The service was outstanding! A happy and friendly and extremely helpful staff made our visit truly enjoyable. The air conditioning encouraged closeness and cuddling. That wasn't bad either! read more

Recommended. I stopped by after work for a sandwich and chose the Carmela, and I opted for the Greek chickpea salad. Both were delicious The sandwich is cured meats, pepperoni & ham on sourdough bread with cheese & piquillo pepper relish. It has a creamy bite, but the vinegar-y spice of the pepper relish is really just outstanding. I don't know why more sandwich outlets don't offer it. My sandwich was lopsided, see picture, but delicious. The Greek chickpea salad was mildly flavored but complemented the sandwich wall and I'd recommend that over the baked or kettle chips included. It's a small upcharge but I think it's well worth it. The service & dining areas looked clean, stocked & organized. It was pleasantly quiet and comfortable inside. On a service note, I used the app to order from my work site and then made my way over to Jason's. The algorithm predicted 1:32 for order ready. Ordered delivery & it got here cold. It is delivery so stuff happens and we heated it up, fine. But the half wrap was literally empty, not even a quarter of a tortilla. I wish I would have taken a picture first. When I say it was 3 bites I'm being generous. & it was 13$ ! Chicken soup was disgusting. Potato came with no butter or sourcream so it was super dry. Jasons used to be our favorite. Not anymore...my husband did the drive up ordering his favorite the Reuban. Evidently it no longer comes with the pickle. Also ordered a turkey wrap...this came without the fruit cup. So...they still charge the same and you get less. Called them with the response of well she is new. Okay...tell us what customer service is. Asked to speak with the mgr. thinking maybe they might rectify with something. NOPE...she is new! Okay...well we will be new to another establishment from now on! If that was truly the mgr. she needs training in dealing with an upset customer. This used to be one of our favorite Sunday night place. The kids liked the ice cream and we could get in and out quickly. Lately, the ice cream machine is "out of order". The girl taking my order couldn't stop playing around over her headset with the guy making sandwiches long enough to take our order. We waited 20+ minutes for sandwiches. I ordered my grandson a half sandwich, when the server brought it, it looked like a whole one.I asked the server if it was a half and she said it was a whole and we had been charged for a whole. The sandwich wasn't correct either. The server told the manager who came over with an adjusted bill and said very condescendingly "it's only $1.07 difference", and walked away. It was not the first time that manager has been very rude to us. I won't be back. read more

We ordered thru Doordash today for Jason's Deli. they left on of our sandwiches out of the order. They put the chips in the bag for the order but not the sandwich. We called the store but all they did was make excuses on how it was not there fault. The worker was useless and did not care about customer service. She just wanted us off the phone. 1st time trying this Jason's Deli and it was a great experience. I got the muffuletta (not pictured) and if you're an olive fan like I am you will love it like I did! My husband got the avocado sandwich and his favorite thing on the sandwich was the sauce. My son said the pizza was the best pizza he's ever had. read more

We have been coming to Jason's Deli for years but this is our first time at this location. Since the sandwich I wanted was not on the menu today, I tried something new and ordered the Texas Style Spud ($8.09) with brisket, melted cheddar and bbq sauce. The potato was huge, like probably 8-10 inches long and stuffed with brisket, melted cheese and bbq sauce. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed and in a weird way. I've never felt like there is such a thing as too much cheese...until today. I felt like I was fighting with the cheese to be able to take bites off my fork. The bbq sauce is also very sweet. Too sweet for me. I ate a third and gave the rest to my husband who enjoyed it. I also ordered a cup of chicken pot pie soup ($4.19)which was very tasty. This I would order again and recommend it. We ordered the Amy's Turkey O sandwich ($6.19)that had turkey, lettuce, tomato, avocado spicy mayo and spicy brown mustard on an onion roll and we would get this one again. We paired this with vegetable soup ($3.19) which was just ok. It wasn't very flavorful and could have used a little more herbs and spices. Even though I didn't love my entree, I know how to order it differently next time. We always enjoy our experience at Jason's Deli and the staff is always nice. The total for our food and two iced teas was $27.87 which is pretty decent for two of us. read more

Jason's Deli has TONS of options. Fair warning, I've only been here twice. Both times, we've all enjoyed our meals. It's pretty good! Ok, so, it's big. Even if it looks packed in the parking lot, go check it out. There are several restaurants that share the lot so you might get lucky. But, there's a ton of seating inside so you're probably going to be fine. The salad bar always looks great and I always wish I'd gotten it... after I'd already ordered. It was a chilly day when I last went, though, so I wanted something warm. Kid had the pb&j kids meal, which was enjoyed. Husband had the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. He loved the sandwich. He liked the taste of the soup but couldn't stand the texture. It's a really very chunky tomato soup. I had the Italian po boy. Ok, so, I'm a huge sucker for an Italian sub. This one did have great flavor.... with one problem. The stone ground mustard they add is so, SO very strong. I mean, I felt like my nostrils were physically hot and stinging. Because the bread is drenched in it, once I removed the bread and just ate the meat out of the sandwich, it was so good. Lesson learned on my part. After you eat, don't forget your free soft serve ice cream! Just head on up to the machine and get it yourself! I'm a fan of Jason's; looking forward to trying some other goodies. read more

This is the only the second time I've been here. If it's at all possible, I would give them 10 stars! Both times I ordered the Reuben Sandwich (with gluten free bread) and both times AMAAAAZZZZING!! This is a nice place with many options including vegetarian. I got the rueban. It came with a pickle and a bag of chips. Vi look forward to eating it. All the food i saw in the dining room looked really good. Was hoping they woukd sell meats and cheeses but yummy food will do. The staff was very interactive from the time you walk through the door until you walk out. The salad bar looked pretty good as well. Yout standard fare with bread as well. Oh Jason's, how I want to love you... So many choices and variety but something is seriously slacking. Spent $67 plus a 10% tip today- the quality and quantity of food for the price do not entice me to return. We have been fans in the past, but lately not so much. The $9 chicken club wrap is lacking in bonafide chicken and quite frankly looks like a kids meal size. We bought two. The kids penne pasta w meatballs/my kid is not picky and she would not eat the meatballs. The Lighter Chicken Alfredo looked like the kids portion-should have saved the $ and ordered that. Your muffuletta is not a muffuletta. Not the right bread or meat and way to much olive tapenade. Sandwhich was good minus the excess tapenade just shouldn't be called a muffuletta. read more

Great addition to South Lakeland. Dedicated management that is out front and helping everywhere, from parking to serving. Register line moved quickly. Salad bar was fresh and attended. Chicken salad sandwich with pineapple, almonds (half) was delicious. Half sandwich and one trip salad bar was 60 cents more than salad bar alone. Many salad bar options (pasta salad, cole slaw was ho hum). Cinnamuffin was great, cornbread muffin was not. Many crunchy toppings were great additions. Friend had the BLT but did not like that it came with egg and avocado, both a surprise (and not found on the menu). They removed it and brought her a complimentary cookie for her longer wait. Everyone gets free ice cream at the end of their meal. There are 8 soups on the menu! Prices are good. I was disappointed in the dressing options (no French, no lite) and the fact you couldn't reach everything from one side of the salad bar. The roasted peppers needed cutting for smaller portions. The industrial ceilings make for a painful din. The parking lot will be a madhouse until the neighboring restaurant construction is finished. Best to go at odd hours 'til the "hoopla" has worn off. read more

They haven't been opened that long at this location and it took some convincing for me to try it only because my favorite restaurant shares the same location. But decided to try it for lunch today and was glad I did. I ordered the Reuben and my wife had the Muffaletta sandwich with a side of spicy shrimp gumbo soup. Neither one of us cared that much for the soup (a little too much of a fishy taste). The sandwiches on the other hand were very very good especially the Reuben (Piled high with corned beef), but could have used a little more 1000 island dressing. The sweet tea is especially good. I'm not a big fan of having potato chips with sandwiches and if they offered a good french fry as a side the place would be the best. A bonus is the free cup or cone of soft serve ice cream. Will definitely be back, they have too many sandwiches and a pretty good looking salad bar not to come back. read more
