There's a giant menu when you walk in, and then big touchscreen LCD menus that honestly feel like the food court screens at IKEA. Every restaurant should switch to this -- save paper, save plastic, and make life easier for everyone. I built my own bowl and grabbed the kale + Fuji apple smoothie. It's not a thick smoothie -- more like something between a juice and an icy -- but still really refreshing and really good. The bowls come in to-go boxes automatically, so you just ask for a lid if you need one. Super convenient. I highly recommend this spot. I don't eat out much, but I'd definitely go back. They even have an app now with $5 off your first order, which I'll definitely be using because the food was that delicious. SoFresh is the perfect name for this restaurant! I like that you can place your order on a kiosk type of machine. Which allowed me to go through all of the available options without holding up anyone else. The young lady working behind the counter was friendly and told me to let her know if I needed help. I ordered the warm Greek bowl with shrimp. It included: brown rice, spinach, onions, tomatoes, chickpeas, cucumbers, feta cheese and tzatziki on the side. All of the veggies were crisp and fresh. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The tzatziki sauce added an extra layer of flavor and a coolness to the warm bowl. I wish they had a SoFresh in Michigan. I was excited to hear about SoFresh's grand opening today, especially with the 50% off everything. I brought my mum with me to try their food. Gluten free, non-gmo, locally sourced when they can, etc., started locally (Tampa 2013), scratch kitchen, everything I like to support. We arrived just moments after they opened but they already had quite a few customers. The place is bright and organized, with seating inside and out. Order at the counter and they will bring your food to you. Or, if you are picking up, there is a pick up shelf near the door. I had seen their menu online and read reviews by a few Instagram bloggers from the soft opening yesterday, so I already was prepared to know what I wanted. Mum changed her mind at least 3 times. Drinks are in the refrigerated case to the right of the cashiers. I'm not interested in smoothies or kombuchas, etc., but I had heard rave things about their Mint Agave Lemonade, so we both got one. Sweet and puckery, with a hint of mint (like an aftertaste, not heavy), I highly recommend - absolutely delicious. We ordered to go and then waited. Everything is cooked to order and there was a wait. Not a big deal. We finally got our meals and came home. Mum ordered the Greek Bowl with the garlic herb chicken. (Note: the garlic herb chicken is a $2.99 add on but are huge, incredibly tender pieces of white meat. No complaints here.) She loved every bite and said the tzatziki sauce was very good. I ordered a Design Your Own Bowl, also with garlic herb chicken. When I got home, I discovered what I ordered was not what I received. What I received was rather similar, so I think it was an honest mix-up in the bagging department. I ate every bite though because (1) it was veggies I like anyway and (2) it was freaking delicious. (I hope the person who received mine thought the same thing.) All the vegetables were cooked just right, al dente. The sauce included in mine (Basil Pesto) was very flavorful and fresh. We also purchased their Gluten free chocolate chip cookies. They were cakey but good. Nice flavor. I know with time, they will work out any issues (first days are always the hardest). I'm impressed by the flavors so far and look forward to trying more. Definitely am looking forward to more of that lemonade. read more

I came on opening day here and was super excited to have some good food that's good for your body, and I was not disappointed!! So many great, healthy options, and even though it gets a little spendy regularly it's worth it to me because you're eating REAL food that tastes real good too! I don't even remember exactly what I got, I think one of the zucchini noodle bowls? But it was absolutely fantastic and I finished the whole thing (which doesn't hardly happen). Just great. I think maybe the only downside of this place I can see right now is that the building is so small so if you sit down to eat there's barely any room and it feels like you're sitting so close to the tables on either side of you. Like it's real awkward. But I will definitely still be back. Yum! I have made a pick up order once so far as well and that was great! I have enjoyed two takeaway meals recently that were both quite good. Last night I had a Greek bowl (romaine, brown rice, spinach, chickpeas, feta, sliced cucumber) with tofu as an extra protein, and my wife had the same with grilled salmon. We were both delighted. It came with tzatziki and we thought that was nice. The bowl would be better with a few kalamata olives & pickled peppers. Today I got the comfort food bowl (roasted broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, kale-basil pesto, brown rice, red quinoa) but without extra protein, for lunch. It was excellent and the pesto that came with it worked, although I'd not have thought it a good match for broccoli, sweet potatoes and cauliflower. Sunflower seeds, pignoli or pepitas would have been a nice add for this bowl. I liked my bowl. I didn't interact with staff, but they seemed pleasant. The dining area looked clean to my eye. I didn't go in the toilet but probably it's fine. Last night I arrived early and noted that in finishing & bagging the bowls, the front crew don't wear gloves; they should. The app prediction for my order being ready was off by 10 or 15 minutes last night (uncertain, see below). Today, lunch was already in the cubby, before I arrived at the scheduled time It would be nice if the crew called out the order when it's brought out. I, and one other party, didn't realize our orders were ready and in the cubby at the front of the restaurant for a few minutes, delaying pickup and clearing the space. read more

I am so tired!!! This location keeps changing the containers they used for the food. First it was a branded box, then a brown box, then a bowl and now 2 different size bowls for the SAME FOOD ORDERED!!!! That is without all those times they left. The chicken out or gave us the warm bowl cold among other mistakes. But honestly having 2 different bowls is my limit. I used to go there weekly... Sometimes twice a week... NO MORE!! It took me 2 years since they opened to get in and try them. My 1st experience was okay. I watched a sluggish sloven employee enter with a red bull right before me and hoped she washed hands. Not familiar with their ordering system and seeing no pics on the walls nor fresh food anywhere made it difficult to know what I wanted other than "something fresh". I was really hoping for calorie counted, they said it's on the website, so ordered blind, knowing I wanted "warm bowl" (their word for hot lunch). Not seeing "clean" food I was concerned whether they washed their raw veggies, hence the heated option. I chose the "skinny". I ordered a side of orange (or was it citrus) chicken for protein. It came out reasonably quickly. The bowl had zucc noodles, onion, mushroom, raw diced tomato and a green sauce in a separate contaier. I was clueless if it was to be mixed together or what was in the sauce or under the sprinkled layer of something. I felt the place was lacking in info & lessons. After ordering I could see there were other optional add-ons for upcharge. They missed $$ because thy failed to "teach" me options. They have kiosks where you can hit buttons & place your order. They opted to "take" my wishes rather than break me in on the tech. The bowl was about $10, the chicken about $4. They didn't present me with a tip option so I didn't. The food was good but I would've liked to know better what I was eating. I tasted no citrus in the cubed (probably nuked) chicken. I was left with a yucky mouth-feel after eating, like salty mouth or cotton mouth, not a clean-fed feeling. The place is pretty sterile as far as info. You're met with a case of drinks like power shots & pressed juices. Learning about their benefits might've been helpful and a sale. Doesn't have to take clerk-time, could be posted. When I went online for calorie counts, the local website gave all prices in British pounds. I did find calories, but none on the meats. They didn't earn my business today though I'd try again n the future perhaps. More interactive effort/conversation needs to occur to sell me on their concept and integrate me into their food experience. Still don't know what was in the green sauce. read more

I ordered through the app and was happy to find that there was a coupon for downloading the app that was subtracted from my order! Both of the chickens were will seasoned. I'm not a fan of brown rice and wish white rice was available ,but the rice was perfectly cooked. There are several sauces available; I chose Tzatziki. I would give it 5 stars, but they just need to work on a few things. The bathroom is always kinda gross. Sometimes, the food doesn't taste the same every time, and sometimes the food is cold. I don't recommend this place to anyone anymore. I did my order of two bowls with extra mix-ins like I do every week (well... Used to now) by reordering my usual order in the app. When i get home i realize that the size of the bowl is not the one I am used to. I tell my wife to call and check what happened and when manager Ema gets on the line she cant explain a valid reason she just said that the bowl i am used to receiving is given when the customer orders extra Mix-ins and my wife lets her know that we did order extra and she confirms on the order... She goes to the kitchen and comes back with another excuse that that other bowl was for salads ... Well my wife and I ordered a salad... And when she could not give anymore excuses she hung up on my wife... While she was still talking and still had to let her know about the rancid avocado sauces they gave us. We both tried to call again and no one would answer even when calling from different phones. It is very disrespectful to treat paying customers that way.. Food was packaged efficiently and safely, which definitely makes me feel better about ordering through a meal delivery service in the future. Had dinner at SoFresh last night the first day they were open. They were very busy but very well organized, pleasant in a hectic situation and our food was delivered to our table in a timely manner. We ordered the Superfood bowl and added garlic herbed chicken and a Power bowl and added grilled citrus chicken. I made my usual order today and was SO Disappointed. Instead of giving me my usual bowl they gave me a smaller portion in a smaller bowl with RANCID avocado sauces. I called to talked to the Manager that said her name was EMA (could have given me a fake name, so just in case the server name on the receipt was Karina!) and all the explanations she was giving me did not apply cause my order was different and i always order the same.
