This is a really nice location. Plenty of space and options for seating including outdoors (which I think they all have). The servers are always helpful and serve with a smile. Almost a chick-fil-a, "my pleasure" kind of help. The food here is always great and I'll never have a complaint. It's not super salty, but still flavorful. The option of a dressing at the end only adds to the flavor and it's basically what I was hoping to get from Cava. Fresh kitchen is way better, cava just seems to have more locations from my perspective. If you're even thinking of trying fresh kitchen it's definitely worth a shot. read more

"HEALTHY FAMILY FOOD, ADVENTURE!!!" Every time we find a fresh kitchen and we're hungry, we stop and eat. You can make the bowls anyway you like them it is a little pricey for the amount of food you get. The temperature of the food can always be warmer. That's the reason for the four stars instead of five. But every fresh kitchen is pretty much the same you get quality, healthy food, quality service with a smile for a slight premium price!!! The dining rooms always seemed to be clean and presentable. Bathrooms as well. Their custom sodas are good, especially the root beer. I have not had a bad bowl yet except for the temperature of the meat sometimes. AS ALWAYS TRY FOR YOURSELF!!! read more

Food was awesome ! We need one in Wonter Haven. Service was fast and friendly. Clean and tidy.

Super fresh bowls. You pick what you put in them but no matter what you pick you can never go wrong.. exceptional proteins and veggies. Customer service is assume read more

Love Fresh Kitchen! It was a happy day hearing one was coming to Lakeland. Their whole idea is serving food more "fresh" and healthy. It does taste like real, whole and yummy food. I always enjoy whatever I end up getting here, and have tried a lot of different combos. It's a big fan favorite at my office, they order FK probably several times a month (at least) for lunch. The one bad thing is the parking situation. This place is almost always crazy busy, because it's good, so the parking is always lacking and never easy to navigate. But you can do an online order so you can pick up and go. There's also some nice outdoor seating. read more

Soo good!! Please open some of these in Georgia! I love the concept and would eat here often if it was closer!! Yummy bowls with a variety of bases, toppings, and meats plus every sauce I tried was delicious! read more

Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they took their time to explain the menu to me and my family and asked us about allergies as well. They were patient with us and when we cashed out they offered us free drinks since it was our first time eating there! I got the 4 base with the crunchy kale caesar and the lemon herb cauli rice, baked almond chicken, parmesan, and coconut sriracha. Healthy food has a bad rep of being not good but this was so good!!! Way better than other fast food joints. The coconut sriracha surprised me but it was delicious! The cookies were a 10/10 as well, they are a must try! We were checked on while eating our meal by the workers who made sure everything was up to standard. I love when people go the extra mile to make sure you have a good experience. Overall, 11/10 dining experience. The ambience was great with good music, clean dining and bathrooms, and pretty decorations. So much better than mcdonald's. All the soda is made with real sugar and even more delicious than the normal stuff! Definitely will be coming back again. read more

Fresh Kitchen - Really Good Cookies - New American Near Me - Lakeland, Florida

Quick food, assembly line style! Another "healthier" dining option. I like the fact that you can see exactly how your meal is being prepared. At Fresh Kitchen your create your bowl my selecting your base, vegetables, protein, and toppings as it's made right in front of you. So you can really customize your bowl anyway you like. Some of my favorite items include the blackened chicken, citrus chicken, salmon, kale slaw, smashed potato cauliflower, sweet potato noodles. I really like the layout and aesthetics of the restaurant. It's always inviting colorful. Staff do their best to keep the line moving. I just wish they would offer other options for vegetables instead of the same vegetables all the time. I can't eat broccoli and the greens beans are tough/hard so I never get them. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms so that really doesn't leave very many vegetable choices for me. I normally double up on the bases in place of the vegetables. I would love to see zucchini, squash, peppers and onions maybe in a sautéed vegetable medley. Or zucchini noodles/spirals. read more

Didn't know what it was when it first came to town but man do I love this food. You can mix and match whatever you want to.. you can get with a sauce you can get it without sauce. We mostly get ours to go and pick up in the drive-thru after ordering online. This location is rather small inside but it's very quaint. Been coming here since it opened in 2023. And the fresh items change as the seasons change so clearly it's fresh. Never got a bad order always fresh always good. read more

Fresh Kitchen - double steak with feta cheese double broccoli citrus avocado double coconut ginger rice and this is the coconut sriracha sauc - New American Near Me - Lakeland, Florida

Food was fresh with lots of choice combinations. The fact that everything was Gluten free was the reason we went in the first place. There are so few places our daughter-in-law can eat but this one was a perfect choice. We ate in and enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere! Wish we had one of these in Georgia! read more

I typically will come to Fresh Kitchen about once a week for lunch. The food is always fresh, and NEVER misses! However, the main reason I come is for the service! Everyone is so nice and smiley, and I'm always asked how my day is going! The cashier, I think her name is Katie, has even remembered my name and order the last few times. I definitely will continue to come back! read more

Fresh Kitchen - Barbecue chicken, salmon, sweet potatoes, broccoli, and spinach - New American Near Me - Lakeland, Florida

Wanted a nice light healthy bite and this restaurant didn't disappoint! The restaurant was brigh clean and welcoming! As I stood in line I could see chicken actually being grilled on a huge grill in back! I the. Knew that the food was going to be exceptional! I was right it did not disappoint! Due to me being a bariatric patient I opted for the kids meal. I got coconut ginger rice, lemon broccoli and blackened chicken. The flavors were out of this world but I could tell it wasn't overly processed! Nice straight forward clean food!!!! I truly wish we had one of these in Columbia South Carolina! Those other places wouldn't stand a chance! read more

Not your typical fast food or chipotle. The ingredients are fresh and clean. I didn't try the rice but was told that it didn't have much flavor. The sauces you can choose from make up for any flavor lacking. This place was clean and had amble space for sitting, both inside and outside. I Will definitely go back to try something different. read more

Always great always fresh and always a great meal!! We have never had a less than exceptional meal here.

Food was delicious, portions always perfect and the service was great. Will definitely be going more often.

My new favorite spot for lunch!! The food is healthy but most importantly tastes DELICIOUS. I love the fact they use 100% olive oil because my stomach doesn't sit very well with canola or vegetable oil. Will definitely be a regular here! read more

Fresh Kitchen - Blacked chicken bowl - New American Near Me - Lakeland, Florida

I lived walking distance from the original FK in South Tampa when it's built so I've been fan from the very beginning. Simply stated: same great quality, same great service. We visited this location not long after it opened. They totally botched our order, but they did fix it and then gave us coupons for 2 free bowls for a future visit. One weird thing about this location is that mobile orders can only be picked up in the drive through even though the front door says skip the line and order online as if you can grab your food inside. Not a big deal if you know. You might wait 20 minutes too long like we did if you don't realize. read more

I wanted to love this 3 month old restaurant in Lakeland but it was just okay for me. I reviewed options before going in and still found it a little complex to order/choose. I thought it was going to be a HOT bowl but nothing was hot--it was luke at best. I found it a mishmash of too many different seasonings not joining well in the bowl. The hottest warm item in the dish was the spicy cauliflower rice, smothered by cold sweet potato noodles, broccoli not hot, bbq chicken not hot, kale sauce too much- overwhelming. Glad I tried it, not likely to return. Nice to see them doing a great drive-thru and catering business while I was there. LIKES. concept, freshness, individual items, ingredients posted online, some flavorful choices. Comes in the bowl it will "to go" in if you don't finish. They inform you about add-ons costing prior to adding to your bowl. DISLIKES. 3 item bowl only for kids. No calories stated. 4 item bowl requires 2 bases--either 2 diff rices, a double rice or "hot" rice/cold noodles. They didn't segment the items in the dish for ME to combine, just slopped in. They over did the "sauce"-good flavor-but overwhelmed the dish. Get it on the side so you can control it! Too many items have allergens like sriracha, soy or cumin. Overwhelming salt feel in mouth. Low portion control--don't want a giant carb meal. $11 cheapest meal. Add-ons run cost up. Behind the counter too crowded with staff cheek to cheek, each serving one dish, refilling bowls, etc. One feels stressed in the line wondering if they're keeping orders straight. The "ambiance" was loud and frenetic. Few eat-in customers but busy place and parking lot. read more

The food is suoer fresh and tasty! The options are limited, but its really all you need. Their food is so flavorful I didnt need any sauce. My recommendation is to ask for the sauces on the side. This location recently opened - so everytime I went it was packed - which is a good sign. Dont be afraid - the line moves quickly. Parking kind of sucks bc its way behind the restaurant. read more

Such a cool new gem in Lakeland. Service was fast even though the line was long. The restaurant itself was clean, modern and inviting. Great healthy and delicious food. They cook in olive oil and everything is fresh. Quick and healthy meal.

Went for their soft opening where they give free bowls for donations to Lakeland Children's Home. Wasn't sure what to expect but holy smokes it is delicious. Very fresh! I did the 6 bowl which comes with 2 base, 2 veg, 2 proteins, and 1 sauce. I did the seasonal cali rice, sweet potato noodles, sesame green beans, lemon garlic broccoli, herb grilled steak (premium item), seasonal chicken, and holy kale sauce. I also added pics, feta, and kale pesto tomato salad. It's so good. The staff was amazing and super knowledgeable! I'll definitely be back! read more

Went yesterday to a nice place to eat. The food is fresh. To me some items are over seasoned. The steak was cooked medium rare but over seasoned. A $3.50 add on. BBQ chicken had way too much salt, and sauce on it. Plus over cooked burnt flavor to it. Parmesan cheese is a$.50 add-on. I'm not a fan of the Paleo cookies either. To each their own. Two meals plus add ons and a moo free drink $37.33 not a cheap place to eat. I might eat there again or maybe 1/2 times a year. The mushrooms are the best I've had in years. Sorry I didn't tip. I don't know if the money went to the restaurant or to employees. Maybe both? read more
