I really don't go to Five Guys often but with traffic the way it was I wasn't interested in driving. The chocolate shake was surprisingly good. The service was quick and the burger was more than enough to fill me up. I got a bacon cheeseburger and added bbq sauce. Super worth it. The free peanuts was a nice touch. Clean restaurant an employee was cleaning the entire time. The outside seating with the birds was the best seat in the house. Also the squirrel that lived in a nearby tree was always wanting a handout. Quick and efficient service. Quality and hot food. Fries were salty for my taste which is why this got a 4 star. Also because of the price. Nearly $40 before the tip to feed two people. That's sit down restaurant dining prices not fast food prices. read more

I eat here often when attending concerts and other events across the street at the Fairgrounds. Prices are high for a burger fries and drink, although this latest time I was told the large fry I ordered comes with a free drink. This is a mid-level burger place based on their prices and burger size. They are tasty and have numerous optional ingredients and sauces you can add. Love this! Fry size is enormous. Definitely split it with someone. They now have a small fry for one person and a regular fry, which is also pretty good size. Love how they fill the fry cup up and keep dumping more fries in the brown paper bag. And LOVE the Cajun fries, which you can order straight up or on the side if splitting fries with someone wanting regular flavor. Wait time can sometimes be lengthy if they are busy. Think this is because they wait to put burgers on the grill until you order, so they are super freshly made. Would rather wait for fresh & hot. You can order ahead on the app or website; although I have never tried that. Never had a soggy burger or fry at this location as mentioned in many poor reviews, so maybe they've recently focused on this. I'm always happy and they keep the tables wiped down pretty regularly. Free peanuts still offered... Good appetizer while you are waiting for your food. Drinks are Coca-Cola brand plus so many more in the fancy, huge dispenser that allows you to add flavor like vanilla and cherry to your selection. Love this! My wife and I had lunch here a few times after our stay at the hotel. The service was great and the burgers and fries were delicious and seasoned very well. Most places don't know how to season fries at all. I loved the fresh made fries made out of real potatoes not frozen. Overall I will say every time we are at the hotel we will be coming here to have lunch. read more

The burger tasted good, not worth $9.19. The fries were good, not worth $5.49. My regular soda was gross, the machine mix was off, most likely the soda had run out. You get free peanuts, stale. I went to Five Guys years ago in Chicago and it was fun, the burgers were better than anything you'd get from other fast food chains at the time. Now I feel like a sucker. We came to the Resturant at 8 pm and only 3 people here we waited 18 min. For our food. The burger buns were soaked with grease and falling apart . They were tasty though. My wife found a small hair in hers and she stopped eating it and trashed the rest. Nobody in the kitchen was wearing hair nets. This should be mandatory especially since they had long hair. Finally got to finally eat out with the grandkids. Since all Five Guys in the Riverview area have closed we decided to check this one out. It is located right across the street from the fairgrounds and the state fair was on, so much traffic!! We could have eaten inside but it was freezing in there so decided to eat at their tables outdoors. It was great. The burgers were perfect and I still think they have the best fries around. Our 10 year old twin grandsons were thrilled to eat at Five Guys again and so were we. It was the first time for all of us to actually eat out since the pandemic started. The cost for 4 burgers, 4 small drinks and a large fries was over $50 which seemed excessive to me, but we had no problem eating every bite. We will be back. read more

I've always loved 5 guys, but after last night they really get my vote. I went there with my visiting Scot, and he has a peanut allergy, but we didn't think anything of it even though 5 guys has Peanuts all around. It was only after looking around that we realized that perhaps the fries were cooked in the oil. Much to our chagrin, they are. Not only does my friend not get to eat those delicious fries, they could kill him. I explain the dilemma, and the cooks understood. They explained that his current burger, wrapped in the foils, was covered by the fries, but they would go ahead and re-make his burger for him. Burger and fries is their focus. For those that don't eat beef, they have an awesome BLT or a Veggie sandwich option. Add the cheese, onions, and pickles to the Veggie sandwich to make it "animal-style" like at the In and Out Burger in Cali. Our fries came out hot and fresh and tasted great. They have malt vinegar (yes!) and also have a Cajun style spice variant. They also have roasted, salted, in-shell peanuts to snack on. Even though it says one $ sign, the menu is all a la carte, so with and order of fries and drink + tax, it's $15 per person. Split a regular size order of fries with two or three people. read more

I spent 3 hours on the interstate and checked into a hotel right next door to five guys. It was 20 minutes to closing time when my kids anD I walked up to the front door. A young lady working there saw us walking up and went into the kitchen. We could see her talking about us with the rest of the staff who were in the back. It's pretty good. I was introduced to it when they started comparing this place to In N Out... In N Out is still my fave compared to this one. Depending on what you order I guess it can become greasy. Their beef is pretty good... quite a bit of it actually. At my age (30ish) I wouldn't want to stuff myself so much anymore... their "mini" or "small" burger seemed comparable to In N Out though... in any case... go all the way =P If I don't see an In N Out nearby but a Five Guys Burger then Five Guys it is... This is the only Five Guys location where I had soggy fries in my order multiple times. One of the main points of going to Five Guys is the fries and they can't seem to get it right.
