Finally stopping by after passing this place many many times. Didn't disappoint. The portions are pretty sizable here. Flavor was pretty good. Don't go here thinking these are some authentic tacos or Mexican food lol far from but yet still good. I got three tacos. Grilled chicken, crispy chicken, and barbacoa. When I saw that the crispy chicken was literally just breaded fried chicken I panicked. But I will say that it was probably the best of the 3! The barbacoa taco was a little underwhelming with less flavor than I expected but still not bad though. The salsa was very fresh along with the rice. I'll have to come back to give the burrito a try. It looks to be their best seller. Pics below.
I've gone to Bubbakoo's Burritos a couple times and the service is always great. This past this I ordered the hibachi burrito and it was pretty good but on the soggy side when I got home. I think I like the custom burrito option better. In the past I've had their cauliflower burrito and it was very good! I'll probably come back and try another combo next time.
This was our first visit to Bubbakoo's, and we weren't sure what to expect, except for what we read on previous reviews. However, the food was delicious and fresh. Our only wish was for more fresh veggie items for a salad as the fajita veggies and corn did not look as fresh as some of the other food items. The Chiwawa is unique with the crunchy panko outside and rice inside. It's great with queso and steak on top. Our server was very patient and helpful with caring for our order since we were new here. Price paid was about what we expected for the amount of food we ordered, and we appreciated the free chips and salsa on a Saturday. The pulled pork nachos were our favorite items we tasted. The Hibachi steak and shrimp are good, too.
On Friday night in Riverview, we were feeling hungry and decided to search for nearby food options. After seeing that Bubbakoo's Burritos was open and offered Mexican food, we decided to visit the store. After we entered the store, we perused the menu and ultimately decided on ordering a Grilled Chicken Tostada Salad and Chicken Tacos. The staff and ambiance were both wonderful. For our Tostada salad and Tacos, we carefully selected the ingredients. Our order was ready quickly and we started with the Chicken Tacos. The chicken was grilled perfectly and the tacos were delicious, especially when paired with the crispy chips. Following that, we enjoyed the tostada salad which was also superb. It was filled with fresh and tasty ingredients that we absolutely loved. Overall, our experience at the restaurant for dinner was wonderful.
Was not aware that this was a chain. This restaurant is right next to my favorite coffee shop in Riverview, but never thought to stop by. Decided to try as an alternative to Chipotle, after craving something "lighter" after a good gym day. I got a chicken bowl which was okay, it was lacking flavor - not sure if I could've added a different sauce or salsa to it! My friend got a burrito which he really enjoy. We shared the southwest eggs rolls which were my favorite of the meal. The service was great and the employees were very upbeat and positive which I loved!
I went here on a recommendation from the hotel desk. It didn't hurt I had a 10% off coupon either. I got there about 2 pm on a Sunday after a long travel day. The two young men working were great! Super friendly and helpful. They explained the menu and how it works. I went with the Burrito Dilla basically all the stuff in a burrito but in a quesadilla . I got the smaller one and it was plenty. You pick your meat then your toppings. They grill up the meat and away you go. The Burrito Dilla was great it was grilled perfectly. I would recommend giving this place a try and want to thank the staff there that day for great service!

Well, I would like to start off saying that we came earlier through the day. We were trying to scope a good place to go eat in our area. We don't normally eat out so finding our budget is hard enough to note. There's nothing worse being devastated by poor balance of taste. I was very impressed by the well mannered gentleman Elvin. He showed really down to earth so humor. If you're looking for something that's gonna knock your socks off you should try this place. We tried the pineapple express burrito with chicken with a little hit just enough heat not to chase off your pallet We follow a Chihuahua. I know what you're thinking, It is a dish that hits home to roots hello Latino friends. We had it pulled pork, black beans, humbled with unique drizzled sauce topped some cheese and cilantro slammed underneath with fried rice ball was actually very cleaver cause that "el pegao or coco de arroz" that we Latinos know about. It's got a little bite but the flavor is so worth. Definitely worth all my pennies. Thanks we look forward to our next visit. Taco smell or Cheatpotle got nothing like this. Yeah I misspelled on purpose.
Very close to 4.5 stars. This restaurant has potential. Newly open. It give good quantity of food. It is upscale fast food with good flavor. Menu is easy understanding. A three step process to select what you want. First step is to choose the your entree. This includes burritos, quesadilla, bowl, taco. Next step is to choose your protein, it includes different types of chicken, pork, steak or ground beef, shrimp. Base on type of protein will determine the price of the items. Next step to choose your add on. They have good choices. I got the steak quesadilla. The add on was delicious. It take 10 minutes to prepare my thick quesadilla. It has good cheese. My wife have BBQ pork. The bowl is huge with add on. She like the taste of it. Overall I said it is good value for the food we have. I like the good thick quesadilla. Enough steak in it. Good grilled steak.
If you like fast, casual and delicious food, this is your place! I visited on grand opening day and all the staff members and owners were there. Let me tell you they are the nicest people! Portions are huge so prepare yourself. Prices are very very good and the mango habanero sauce is amazing. I recommend the chiwawa (very unique and delicious) and the quesadilla. And they have FRIED oreos!
First time and the Mango habananero taco salad is really good. Put on it what you like which is always a plus for me. Thirsty Thursday free drink with entree, can't beat that. They have more l more than that including fried oreos . Worth a try for sure.

I ordered the burrito bowl which is somewhat similar to what I would have ordered at Chipotle. The food on a whole lacked seasoning and the temperature of the food was not warm. My friend ordered the chiwawa which she described as filling but again was just ok. The portions were plentiful. Had the opportunity to try out Bubbakoo's located in the brand new plaza with Eggs Up Grill and AT&T in Riverview, and I must say I am so glad I stopped in. I ordered the chicken burrito with sweet chili sauce. It was the perfect blend of sweet & a hint of spice. The grilled chicken, black beans, and brown rice all wrapped up in my burrito was plentiful. Came in the other day for a mobile order and when I got their the order wasn't ready and when they made it they ended up making the bowls opposite of each protein so they had to remake them. The gentleman at the register was super nice about it but unfortunately when I got home my bowl had some kind rice that was super underdone their wasn't supposed to be rice at all but my husband said he enjoyed his bowl, maybe we will try it again. read more

This place is such a great addition to the area. Some may compare it to a Moes, Chipotle or Tijuana Flats, but Bubbakoo's is a million times better. Yes, I mean a million times better. It's bright, the menu is more extensive than I expected and the staff had great energy and was eager to help us decide what to get! I went with the Chiwawa. The base is two giant fried rice and cheese balls. They're lightly fried so they have the perfect amount of crunch! They're pressed down into your bowl and smothered in queso. Then you get to add all the toppings you want! I went with their hot salsa, pick, black beans, fresh jalapeños, sautéed peppers and onions and hibachi steak and shrimp. This Chiwawa bowl was so packed full that I had three full meals from it! Everything is made fresh to order which you can taste! I upgraded for ONLY $4 to steak and shrimp. They throw it on the grill and cook it right in front of you. I was so impressed with my first visit and I can't wait to return and try more. On top of burritos, bowls, and the Chiwawa they also have Nachos, salads and even wings!! They have plenty of parking and everything was very clean. I've been here twice so far. First time was disappointing, but saw potential. The first time it was very busy and they were clearly understaffed, it was very chaotic and disorganized. The food was really good though and the workers tried their best and were very apologetic. This was much closer to their grand opening so I get they had to work out some issues. Returned today though and was very impressed! Tried a few different things and it was fantastic! Quick, much smoother operation, very good customer service this time. I love the menu and the food was great. The worker at the beginning was nice and explained and answered questions we had and two different people checked on us and offered to take our trash and get us a to go container when we needed one. Great service today! Today I got the Chiwawa which is a very interesting invention I've never seen before. They take these two large fried rice balls and smother it in queso and all kinds of toppings and your choice of meat. It is very large and filling! Very good! Also got queso curly fries, and fried Oreos. The fried Oreos came with either raspberry sauce, caramel sauce, or maple syrup. We got the maple syrup. Overall, they definitely had some issues when I first went but it appears they've gotten better and improved and based on this 2nd visit I have no complaints. It's a great new Mexican place that also has some different items like wings, fries, tots, and fried Oreos among some other unique items. I also love all the different meat and sauce options! This place is a mix of Chipotle and Tijuana Flats but with more stuff. We got a bowl and quesadilla, both were very good. The only real downside is they serve Pepsi products, but that will not stop us from going back. read more

The food was delicious, so 4.5 stars for that. 1.5 stars for the service, however. The young people working the counter at 7:30pm acted like they didn't really want to be there. They barely greeted customers, while having their own personal conversations. They weren't outwardly rude (as in saying rude things,) but seemed to be bothered by the fact that they had customers. Also, we ordered and paid for chips, which we never received. This restaurant has great potential, if only the management were more conscientious about the crew they hire. read more

My first time going there was on my birthday for lunch with a friend. It's a small restaurant in Riverview, FL. Their nachos were outstanding! You had a choice of a protein, loads of veggies & different sauces. I loved it & highly recommend giving this restaurant a try! read more

This spot has good tasting food but there were some important details missed in my order. I ordered 2 hard shell tacos with shredded carnitas, chips and salsa. The carnitas meat was delicious and savory. However, the salsa was not included with my chips so I ate them with whatever toppings fell out of my tacos. My husband ordered a fried chicken burrito bowl with mango habanero sauce on the side. The fried chicken is chicken cutlet chopped up into small pieces. The habanero sauce did not come on the side. Not a major deal for him, but, the point of it being on the side was so that our toddler could share some of the bowl without it being spicy. For dessert, we ordered fried Oreos. There were some Oreos in our order which tasted off (I guess it was the oil used to fry them) but 3 out of 5 of them tasted perfect. I would like to give this place another shot, perhaps I will order in person instead of delivery to make sure we receive our order how it is requested. read more
