Went there for lunch. Was advertised this place online a long time ago, finally in the area to try. Two people working and every order takes like 10 mins. Had to leave cuz I'm not going to wait 20 mins for fast food with only two people in front of me :(. They need the staff. read more

This is a solid alternative to Chipotle and far better than Moe's or Tijuana Flats. It's fast-casual and they even have online ordering although the last time I tried to use it the system was down. Basically everything is flavored really well. There is a wide option of sauces, meats, and even some seafood like shrimp. The prices are a bit higher and an entree is around $8-10, but at least it tastes great. I really like the way they wrap the burritos in aluminum like a real Mexican place. The service is so-so and sometimes they are behind on orders despite having lots of workers so they should work to improve that. read more

My husband wanted to try this place out! Looks great from the outside. When we came in- no one greeted us, nor asked to help us whatsoever. My husband had to speak up to ask if we could order. Two gentleman working, sadly the one who helped us- only wearing one glove, attempted to help us as he still had conversation with the other man working there. Service will kill this place and put you out of business. We won't be back. Food- on a positive note wasn't bad! Had the taco salad- shell was a day or two old but it was alright. Husband had steak bowl- steak was cooked to order but gentleman put it raw on the flattop and put the steak weight on top- fine but steak was then served all smashed together as one big piece. Side note* Only one other table in place and they had to send back their wings because they were burnt. The other gentleman offered to remake them- the original gentleman who cooked them said it was because of the oil- oil was burnt up he said. They also had to remake fried Oreos for a lady TOGO order because the gentleman noticed they were super burnt as well. read more

I can't stand a place that gives you pancake quesadillas and bite sized burritos. Thankfully, Bubbakoos is not that place. The quesadillas, burritos and nachos that we've had have been big portions. We've had the vegetarian burritos, quesadillas, nachos and queso. Everything has been great so far. A couple mistakes with one order, but the rest were correct. We've done takeout/Uber from here 4-5 times so far and hope to eat here many more. If you're going to do takeout, you save a bit of money by ordering on the website vs. Uber. The staff has been friendly and attentive every time we've gone in and the restaurant looked really clean. read more

Good food, definitely give this place a try. Service was great and staff was very friendly. Can't wait to try something new next time.

I just spoke to manager I was at first questioning the price , once was explain I was ok with the response . The manager then stated that i was assuming that they was trying to steal a buck from me , and treated the employe like crap wow . This was a conversation that took place over the phone . I was also trying to tell the manager that , I did at first like their food , after this visit I was totally disappointed with their service . The reason , allow the customer to tell you what to put on their food this salad as well as the burrito had two handful of onions . I didn't get out what my other complaint was he was too , busy explaining the prices and he hung up in my face . Nasty i will never ever spend my money there . read more

We tried Bubbakoo's for the first time yesterday. We ordered a burrito cut in half, chips and queso and two drinks. They make their burritos like most of the other custom stores in a production line. What was interesting to me was that our food was sitting on the prep counter while other orders behind mine were being made by the the gentleman. Then he turned away and started working on something else and left my 1/2 done burrito on the counter. I patiently waited to see what was happening and finally the same young lady that started my order finished the burrito. I'd say they added 5min to prep process (no big deal) but more so it was the image of a prep person letting my food sit there and then turning away and it continuing to sit there that really gave me a bad impression. Truly odd, and really a poor service experience. They knew it was our first time visiting because a gentleman asked me when I was ordering. He gave out coupons to other customers but not to us... humm maybe we were invisible. The food was ok and I may visit again but not compelled to do so based on my first experience. read more

Not a place I'll visit ever again!! The food was not what I expected no flavor and the chicken dry and like sandy texture I ordered 3 different bowls all with different toppings and none of them were good. The employees were eating and talking as they serve our food one of them even leak her fingers before putting her gloves on which was very disgusting! DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE ! read more

I am a frequent customer at the Zephyrhills location. The food is always good, and the staff is always friendly. I know of at least 10 people that eat there on my recommendation. Never disappointed. read more

This place is the bomb! Food delicious and owner is the friendliest guy! I like to come here especially because I do weight watchers and I can load up with protein an veggies and feel full for hours read more

Went tonight for the first time! Couple of things. First of all, the one lighter skinned female taking orders is COMPLETELY RUDE AS HELL. I will make sure she doesn't take my order next time because I certainly did not go to be yelled at, even my boyfriend noticed. Opposed to that, the food is good. Everything is fresh and a variety of sauces. No complaints there. All in all, customer service is the reason for lack of stars. read more

Food tasted amazing, great customer service, and the place was extremely clean! Everything tasted fresh and seasoned. read more

Bubbakoo's Burritos - Food was amazing! Tasted very fresh and well seasoned. Great customer service and resteraunt was extremely clean!! - New Mexican Cuisine Near Me - Riverview, Florida

I need to start this off by saying I grew up in California. Finding Mexican (even Mexican fusion) food that is decent is near impossible in Florida. There are a few small places, and they are fantastic and authentic, but they're few and far between. Finding a legit California burrito? Actually impossible. There are places that claim California burritos, but they are NOT steak, sour cream, cheese and French fries. And then I found Bubbakoo's. No, they don't have California burritos on the menu, BUT they were willing to make one for me (though I subbed shrimp for steak). Super friendly employee was working on my order when I came in, so I was able to apologize and thank him for throwing him off a bit. Delicious and fresh. I will absolutely be back! read more

Good but room for improvement. We (party of 3) came here for lunch recently and were a little disappointed. The staff member who was taking our orders comes off unfriendly and slightly rude. Not a good start if you've just recently opened. There's no visible menu so it can be confusing for first timers. Luckily we all had our phones and just googled their menu. I actually really liked my steak and shrimp quesadilla so I will definitely return. My companions didn't like their entrees however. The staff doesn't seem to know where everything is or gets their sauces mixed up. My friend ordered her entree with bbq sauce but got A1 instead which she doesn't like. The customer in front of us order their meal with sriracha and ranch but only got the ranch. My wife's entree was a bowl that ended up being very wet. Both agreed they would get another entree next time, hopefully not the last time! If they happen to read this review I would say just be more friendly to your customers and try to work on a smoother assembly process! read more

Unprofessional staff, and food was gross, the bubbakoos burrito was not fresh at all, fell apart while I was eating it

Went here the other day for the first time and the manager "Ron" has a serious attitude problem. Was told by him "I didn't want my food" when I didn't hear my name being called. When confronted about the comment he complained about being there "all day." (He only worked almost 8 hours, how embarrassing) The food was decent but will not be returning as long as they condone a manager who acts like that. read more

To the owner. I just left your place. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes and no one said a word. I looked at the menu and at your employees the whole time. After 5 minutes I walked out. You need to do better!!!! read more

Our first time here was ok though service was not good either but I decided to give it another try. I pre-ordered through the app and went in to the store to pick up. After I arrived in the store, I did not see my order by the online order pickup area so I stepped in the ordering area. I was the only person in line. Nobody said hi or acknowledged me. So I proceeded to say "excused me, I am picking up my online order". They asked for my name, then one person said "you can start making the food". I was confused why my food has not been made since it was supposed to be ready 10 minutes prior. However, I did not say anything. Then, another person said "you are late. We did not think you were coming to pick up your food". First of all, I did not know it was a job interview that I had to be there exactly on time. Not like if I was online, the food was going to be done on time at the pick up time. Second of all, why would I order and pay for the food and not pick it up. Then, the same person started saying "oh, I started making your food". I had to wait another 5-10 minutes for them to make my food after I arrived 10 minutes after my pick up time. There was no manager but a bunch of kids running around in the store. read more

New fav place to eat!!!! I always ride by this place & decided to give it a try and ended up coming twice in one day. The people there are very friendly and the food is amazing. Worth every penny and I will continue to eat here. SN: Try the BurritoDilla & the fried Oreos!!!! read more

Had to throw away our 90% rice burritos after two cold bites. Do not make the same mistake of going here as I did.

Wanted to give this place a try despite some of the bad reviews but unfortunately the reviews were right. Very small portion of food, steak was tough and dry... definitely better off going to Chipotle or Qdoba.. read more

We decided to try this place on a Saturday night. The guy at the front was really helpful, I came in with no real idea what I wanted and was pleasantly surprised with how many combinations you could put together. He recommended the taco salad bowl which you can't really go wrong with. The shredded chicken was really good. To be fair there's so much more this menu has to offer Id have to go back to really know what this place is about the but service was great. we were literally the only people eating there so that was a bonus. read more

We ordered taco salads for our dinner. They were fresh and delicious. We thought they could add more lettuce and toppings. We would go again. read more

My first time here & Jennee was such a great help! My food was great and prepared fast! I definitely recommend trying the Chihuahua.

We wanted to try something new for tonight's takeout. Unfortunately this place has left me not even being able to finish a taco salad and husband took one bite into his burrito and opted to throw out our meals. They were horrible no flavor at all. I ordered a steak taco salad, the steak was tough and COLD. My husband requested light beans on his burrito he ended up with a bean burrito basically. Portions are small. You are better off going to chipotle. read more

Checked out this place for the first time last night. Husband walked in around 6:30 to grab our pick up order. Brought it home and cut our burritos in half. Portions were very good however, several bites into it, I noticed my white rice was hard and the chicken barely had any flavor. We decided to fill up on the chips and queso. Chips were stale but the queso was decent. We were definitely disappointed. Nothing more frustrating than coming home to a $30 dinner (2 burritos and some chips) only for it to be stale and lack flavor. Don't think we'll visit there again. read more

Got the nachos. Stale chips and cold meats. Not good. Service seemed untrained. Not recommend at all. Will never go back.

I've been going to Bubbakoo's in NJ for years and have always been a big fan. Unfortunately the Riverview branch is a gigantic disappointment. Numerous times we have gone to this location mainly because it is located close by. And every time we have been disappointed. Horrible attitude by the staff and constantly out of selections on the menu. I'm through with this place, which is a shame because we used to LOVE the other locations. Today was the last straw when I ordered online in advance, and was told when I arrived that they were (yet again) out of an item on the menu. So I reordered another item in person only to sit and wait for over 30 min just to remake the 1 item. No apology, no sense of urgency, and the place was just about emptied of the 3 customers that came after I arrived. During this time I watched poor handling of the food and a cook in the back not wearing appropriate hair netting. At this point I had enough and left the establishment. Advice to management - sit your staff down and retrain them closer to the magic of your restaurants in the northeast before you lose more customers. read more

We tried this restaurant on Uber eats and both meals were made incorrectly. They forgot ingredients and added things we didn't ask for. We decided to give it another shot and went in for a to go order. The rice was soggy, bland, and disgustingly mushy. And we picked out most of it. They also offer a "dip trio" online and when I asked for it in the store I was told they didn't know how to ring it up, so I wouldn't be able to get it unless I ordered it online. I told him that I came in because when I ordered it online, the order was messed up. He said he couldn't do anything about it. Also, it would be way more expensive if I ordered the dips separately. Especially since they said 2 ounces of guac was $2 by its self. They shouldn't offer something online and then not allow you to order it in the store. Honestly, It seemed like they didn't want to help me and couldn't be bothered to make a situation right. Very disappointed. read more
