I went to chipotle the night of Halloween and was surprised that there wasn't a long line. I was able to get my order without any issues along with the Halloween special for the night. The staff was polite and it was an efficient trip overall although I do feel some parts of the line were moving kind of slow. The manager Ramon is absolutely wonderful! 10/10 customer service. As a person who works for luxury Marriott properties, I can say he definitely deserves his flowers. As we know, finding good customer service is hard everywhere you go, but to have him assist me in a sticky situation was a blessing. I accidentally ordered my food to the wrong location 3 hours out and even though I have to contact corporate to help with this mistake, he did not charge me for remaking the food. He was just so pleasant and that right there shows kind hearts knowing today's economy! My wife and I love Chipotle but this location has consistent issues. My wife and I visited here on a week night with her mom. It was a little after 8pm and the line wasn't as long as we were expecting. Typically, it's twice as long but the wait was still about 20 minutes to order our food. There were a lot of people sitting and standing around waiting for their to-go orders. When we finally arrived to the counter, the gentleman that got us started was friendly and welcoming. My wife and mother-in-law got chicken bowls and I got a carnitas burrito. While we were ordering, a manager came over with about a dozen mobile orders they were behind on. Those had to be mixed in to the already long line waiting to place in-house orders. As we went down the ordering line, the next guy putting the orders together was rude and sloppy. Literally taking the spoon, lifting it over the bowls, staring at us and then dropping the items on in a passive-aggressive, look at how much I don't care about making your food, way. Strangely enough, he didn't do that to the people in front of us or behind us. They were also out of guacamole and chips. My mother-in-law also asked for a tiny amount of carnitas to try, literally a pinch. The sloppy, undedicated worker that finished our food chose to charge her for a half and half bowl. Luckily, the first worker that actually put the carnitas on, told the manager at the register about the very tiny portion. We got our drinks and got out of there. People that were waiting for to-go orders when we came in, were still waiting, even after we finished eating. The place was in complete disarray. Counters were half-stocked and dirty. The agua frescas were empty. The trashes were completely full and somehow still saw workers taking breaks. I will say, if you want Chipotle in the Brandon area, this is basically your only location. There is one in the mall but it's a little more expensive and closes at 7pm. The only other one in the area is on Bloomingdale. This location gets overrun, is likely understaffed and seems to be mismanaged. I believe a new Chipotle will be opening on Causeway and that will be our new go-to. If it wasn't for the fact that I was so hungry and the burrito hit the spot, I'd only give this one star. read more

Where do I start. I am a fan of chipotle, I actually feel bad giving them a low rating but I had a horrible experience. After looking at the reviews, it appears I'm not the only one. How has the Corporate/ management not corrected this? So many bad reviews, something's gotta give! Anyway, I ordered my food on the app and went through the "drive through" to pick it up. My food wasn't ready for more than 30 min, when my food was finally ready they called my name inside the restaurant , and just placed it back on the counter. The entire time I was in the "drive through pick up line." I was never inside. The bag even said "pickup window". I had to knock on the window and tell them they just called my name since they didn't check to see if I was waiting at the window. I have been craving chipotle!!!! And it's very disappointing the portion sizes have definitely went down and no one looks happy!! No one smiles, no greeted any of us that walked in!! Asking for for extra rice or beans stresses them out!! The half of scoop of chicken is crazy and to get a full scoop you have to pay extra!!! The 1 Oz of queso I got on the burrito for 1.55 is crazy!!! The vinaigrette isn't even a whole sauce it's half and asking for 2 is a big deal!! You know I didn't want to believe the viral things going around about Chipotle.... but seems to be holding up!!! I was so disappointed!!! Hopefully Chipotle as a brand gets better!! I'm giving this Chipotle a three star review! I'm not sure if the recipe changed for the mild salsa or if someone was just heavy handed with the red onions! It was a bit much! Also my white rice was not all fully cooked. So sad! The fajita was fully cooked though lol! I still have so much onion flavor in my mouth! My visit to the restaurant went well! The restaurant was clean! They have social distance markers and a hand sanitizer station! Most of the staff wore gloves but I spied a couple employees not wearing any! Everyone was wearing their mask and masks are mandatory indoors. They are allowing seating inside as well. Utensils are given out with your meals and not out for grabs like before. Ok, so after my last negative review I thought it only fair to allow this establishment, that I frequent, another chance to redeem themselves. I must say that I am so upset and utterly disappointed that I did. We ordered through Chipotle's App and it was said that our order would be ready at 7:50pm (I am writing this at 8:20). As we stand here they said that their currently fulfilling orders for 7:20pm! The staff and the management never apologized nor acknowledged the fact that we are standing here waiting FOREVER! It is. It is not lost on me that staffing shortages happen, but courtesy and customer service doesn't have to go missing. I am writing this review as I stand here waiting. No offer of a discount or even some water while we wait. There was ZERO delay in charging my card for the food. We were told that If we want to complain then we can go online (still no apology for the wait). This Chipotle was one of superior customer service and over the last two months it has become one of the worst customer service experiences ever!!! This redemption opportunity is a waste!! I wish I could give a food review of this eatery but there is no food to review. Where do I begin? My husband and I used to frequent Chipotle, especially on night's that we wished to not cook or nights before we travel making it easy on us. TERRIBLE idea on this occasion. I went over to the Chipotle in Brandon shortly after my shift at the hospital for a quick and somewhat healthy meal option. We had plans to travel to San Diego the following day, so knew it would be an easy option as well. I walked into the facility around 6:30pm to a huge line, which is normally a good sign, being that many people are there ordering and the food is not just sitting under the lights for hours. When it was my time to order, I ordered the usual - steak bowl with white rice, mild salsa lettuce, cheese, and easy sour cream. This particular occasion was no different except that I normally get extra fajitas and that option was not available to me. I quickly raced home to finish my dinner and start packing before our early flight the next day. I didn't think anything of it that evening and it wasn't until I woke up at 2AM with the worst stomach pains of my entire life. So painful that I begged my husband to take me to the hospital, I was in such agony. Due to the timing of this and our travel plans, I took a TUMs and decided to try it to sleep it off. I woke up at 4AM, ready for our flight, with even worse pains in my abdomen. Like 8/10 pain. I somehow made it to my flight without dying, but nonetheless, still felt I was going to. I made it to Houston (our layover) with even more severe pains. I begged my husband to continue on and leave me at the airport, while I was peeled over in my seat. I cried the entire duration of the flight because of the pain and correlated it to Chipotle the night before. Needless the say, our entire trip was ruined because of the severe abdominal pain I was in and vouched to never, in my entire life eat Chipotle again. read more

I've been to this location a few times now and it's always quite average. There's nothing wrong with that, the food is pretty good and it's usually fairly clean as well. The problem lies in the customer service. There's a particular woman, she never has a name tag on but she's plus sized and african american. She always has a very poor attitude no matter how polite you are to her. She slams your food into the bowl, making a mess, does not speak to you at all, and barely makes eye contact as well. Once she added a salsa to my bowl without me asking for it and when I let her know that, she sighed and rolled her eyes and sent a younger gentleman over to redo it for me who was much nicer. Since then if my boyfriend and I see her working that day, we'll usually turn around and go somewhere else because her service just isn't worth the price of the food. read more

Absolutely love Chipotle! One of my favorite "fast foods" and great options for all types of eaters. I went in today to get a chicken salad bowl - super delicious as always. The customer service itself was mediocre, but some of the staff was super friendly so it really just depends who is working that day. They are, however, super efficient. The line was pretty long when I got there, and they got through everyone very quickly. I recommend placing a mobile order ahead of time if you don't like long waits, but I've heard they sometimes mess up your order that way so do so at your own risk. Overall, pretty good food for a decent price. The only thing I don't recommend is their chips (the guacamole is okay). They are kind of overly salty and definitely not best tasting compared to other establishments. Otherwise, always a good visit here! read more

THE WORST SERVICE! I ordered here awhile back through the app to pick up some food on my way home. I got there about 15 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and it wasn't done yet. There were a few of us standing there waiting for our meals that were ordered through the app. Only one woman was making food for online orders and Uber eats while about 8 people just stood around in the back just hanging out. I stood there like an idiot for almost 30 minutes before I asked the woman when my food would be ready. She just stared at me and asked for my name. Then she switched to making my food and hands it to me. No other words were exchanged. As I walked away the guy who had been standing next to me did the same thing. So I thought it was only lousy service because I went through the app. This time I went in and ordered in person. Sadly, I ended up standing there for almost 10 minutes while once again a whole group of employees were just hanging out. Multiple people working there saw me and still took there sweet time getting to make my food. While making my meal, after putting the hot ingredients on it, the employee walked away and no one was there to finish making it. After a short bit someone else walked up to finish it, but in the middle of it he just stopped and started staring at the group hanging out in the corner. He didn't say anything, he didn't move, and no one even was speaking to him. Honestly the only thing that keeps this place going is the name Chipotle. Do not order through the app! read more

Chipotle has been my go to for years and I was pleasantly surprised when they opened this location as it is easy for me to get to. The first 3 visits were great no problem, clean, good amounts. The last two times after that were terrible. Staff stood around while one person filled orders, food on the floor and more fat in the protein than protein. Stopped in today for one last chance and the only thing different was the cook mopping the sweat from his brow and laying the paper towel on the counter, no attempt at washing his hands after. He had a horrible attitude, was slamming and throwing things everywhere because people were coming in an ordering. Asked to try the carne asada it was cold because they turned the tables off early and had the cold sides in an ice bath. Continued to purchase the food, but I've been a loyal customer for over 8 years with Chipotle and this is my worst experience of all time. And I as well am a manager in the food industry. Estimated pickup time is completely inaccurate. It's actually more upsetting to expect to get your food according to what they say is the expected pickup time. Can't go wrong with Chipotle its fast and delicious. Whenever I have a craving for it I come to this location. The staff is friendly and efficient. I typically get the chicken burrito bowl with the tortilla on the side. However, sometimes I want to try a different type of meat and will say the steak here is my least favorite which is why I took a star off. I enjoy it well done, but it is so well done it becomes dry and difficult to chew. The pork is another tasty option which I enjoy on tacos with an order of guac and chips on the side. Michelle claims she is the GM of this location. She is very rude and unprofessional. I asked her for the phone number to her superior and she refused to provide it. When I asked her to cancel my order she said she would. I asked her to refund the money as well. She made it seem like an imposition to do this and tried to put it back on me to do saying it would take longer if she did it. Time wasn't an issue but she kept pushing it off on the customer. I never got the food and all I wanted was a reversal of the transaction. A simple touch of some keys on her computer. I will never give this location business solely because of Michelle. It's been a VERY long time for me, lol I signed up for a loyalty card today and received complementary chips and guacamole. Sure, my privacy is being compromised, but I figure it's too late for privacy at this point. Happy with the food and the staffer that greeted me and told me about the new loyalty program.
