I really like this place. It's close to my new office, I've been here twice and plan on returning regularly for lunch. The service has always been prompt and very friendly, and the food is pretty good. We were excited to try this place based on the menu and pictures alone. When you walk in you head to the counter to order (similar to a chipotle or moes). I got the Steak and Shrimp "hibachi" burrito and while it was good it was not anything I would call hibachi. The rice they serve on the line has cilantro but they will get you plain rice from the back. My husband got the general tso's tacos & the chicken quesadilla. Flavors were good but the chicken was not great. All of their chicken is the boneless chicken (pictured) and they were not fresh. If they were fresh it would've been better. If you download the app you can get free chips and queso. The queso is a white queso but it does have a kick. If you have kids just know they do not have a changing table so be prepared. The atmosphere was very modern and upbeat with a beach feel. In my opinion, it's a good spot to give a try. read more

So excited about this grand opening! Greeted by very happy welcoming staff and franchise owner for their grand opening event. We were offered a menu to read on paper versus the menu board lit up behind the food prep area. Lots of great choices quesadillas, burritos, tacos, chicken wings even chicken tenders for the kids and student meals. They even have the Chihuahua which is a fried rice ball and if memory serves me they break it up and lay your toppings of choice on top of it. You can even get fried Oreos if you still have room from all your burrito goodness as a dessert!! My son had the steak and shrimp quesadilla that he enjoyed thoroughly. Picked up my food, it was cold . Seemed like it had been sitting for hours so I complained, they remade it. I got home and bit into my food, and to my surprise it was raw chicken! Raw pink shrimp, and all the other food was just bad. The only good thing was the chips. $45 wasted!!! I called and complained a second time, manager says he will refund me, and I can get anything off the menu for free. I reordered and it's just not the same anymore. I'm so turned off by this place, it's annoying and just a bad experience all around. We went into the restaurant and it seemed clean. There was a few of the employees sitting at the table by the door. There were about 4 or 5. At first I thought they were not opened. Then I saw a lot of employees behind the counter. I didn't see anyone remotely looking like a manager or host/hostess anywhere. Luckily we seen a sign saying order here. You have a bunch of ingredients to choose from. I also got the house salsa and chips. We got a bowl with shrimp. We got our drinks and set down. They dip you a generous portion of food. And they make it look pretty. They also have a good option of mild or hot. So it's good for little ones to eat there too. We got the fried Oreos also they were good. All of a sudden one of the group sitting at the table got up and asked if we were doing good. I was astonished I still am guessing who they were. If that was management then they are very unprofessional. I really thought they were cooks on break. Let me start by saying I do not normally write reviews on any business because I no everyone has there good and bad days but my experience coming to this restaurant was absolutely horrible there was a young Spanish girl that was on her phone after 5 min of me waiting patiently she finally acknowledge me but immediately gave me attitude like it was such a bother to help me out and continue to give me attitude all the way to the register I wish I would have got her name because this was the worst experience I have ever had it was around 2 if that helps at all but I'm so shocked on how disrespectful the young lady was. Ate here opening day, which is typically not a good day to review a new restaurant, but other than the long line, everything was great. It's nice to see a shrimp option at a fast food place that isn't a deep fried disaster like Long John Silvers. Had the shrimp burrito bowl, and it was delish. Food is always good when I've ordered pick up or delivery. I love the options for burritos and they are always loaded. Parking is decent (it's a shared lot with the rest of the plaza), easy access in and out via the light at Alexander and Mendonza. Cool industrial look inside with some tables and chairs spread out. A few things I do want to mention/recommend is a better online ordering app with more available options. It seems when I order specific items other options (peppers and onions etc) aren't an option for it. Also, when they first opened they had cheddar jalapeño poppers and I really miss them as an app, now I no longer get an appetizer because nothing really stands out to me. Finally, they have fresh jalapeños as a veggie topping but what about cooked jalapeño slices? I think they would add great flavor and warmth if raw isn't really your thing. I will continue to get food from this location, if they bring back the poppers I'll probably be back to ordering every week like in the early days lol. Definitely give this place a chance. read more

We just moved to the area, and saw this place and decided to give it a try. We thought it looked really cool and had a ton of potential, but unfortunately it was not good at all. Ordered 3 steak tacos but was given so little steak I had to consolidate into 2 tacos and still barely had any meat. The veggies look like they were sitting out for days and The facility itself was dirty. The girls working there were very nice, so nothing bad to say about them, just the food and facility itself were more than disappointing. It's really too bad because the concept seemed really cool, but I'd stick with the Moe's or other similar restaurants. Definitely will not return read more

I was so excited to finally try your Plant City location last night, 12/16. Imagine my displeasure as I stood in line and observed PEOPLE IN THE KITCHEN NOT WEARING MASKS or masks not covering the nose. Also, the person putting food on the orders in the front line not wearing a mask appropriately. I told the person making my order that I couldn't eat their food when they had such lack of care for their customers. As I was leaving I met the manager outside coming back from O'Briens and explained to him what I had experienced and he apologized and stated all employees were to wear masks and he would take care of it. I said "if all employees were to wear masks, when you were in the kitchen, why were you not wearing one?" He was one of those I saw only wearing 1/2 a mask. I do not understand in a time where loved ones cannot be with people in the hospital or nursing homes, we cannot gather with our families for Christmas, so many are making so many sacrifices, why a business, especially a new one, would disrespect it's patrons in such a way. You want me to consume your food, but you are not willing to make it safe for me to do so. So many eateries are taking care, I think I'll be one of their patrons. read more
