The only reason I gave three stars is because the food was delicious but the service was horrendous. Let me dazzle you with my Mother's Day experience when I sat down and our waitress took our drink order we ordered waters and alcoholic drinks. We sat there for 15mins before the waitress came back ,and was that to bring our drinks no it was to take our appetizer order. Again I asked for a water. Our appetizer was brought out before our waters by a food runner. Mind you we are 25mins into sitting at our table. I see the waitress and I ask can I get my water and then we finally got our waters. The appetizer was the lump crab fries which were ok. Finally our drinks arrived but the waitress did not know which alcoholic beverage was which, we ordered a zombie, rum runner and pineapple mule. The pineapple mule was easy to figure out but the other two were mixed up. My brother took a sip of what we thought was the rum runner(it ended up being the zombie) it was disgusting. Idk who approved it for the menu but it was horrible. So after everyone at the table has a sip and comes to the same conclusion we call over the waitress to send it back to order a zombie. Then the manager comes over and basically accosted our table. Asking my brother (a over 6ft 30yr old man) is he sure he can handle that kind of drink. He was extremely rude to the point our entire table was arguing with him. Next my mother ordered a sprite, then the waitress brought her soda water. Okay could be a mistake so we send it back 15mins later she brings another drink and guess what it is, another soda water. My boyfriend at this point gets up and goes over to the waitress who agues with him saying it is sprite. Thankfully the food was good but I would never go back because of the horrible management who also never came back to check on us again. read more

Our service was better than the food. We ordered the crab fries as an appetizer. To quote my husband "we could have bought a bag of frozen fries from the store and made the same thing". The drinks were over priced and were horribly made. He ordered the coconut shrimp and again could have gotten the same thing from the grocery store. I order the shrimp fried rice and it really lacked flavor. The banana bread ice cream cake was just ok and the key lime pie looked like a hot mess when it was given to us. It only tasted ok. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because of the great server we had. Everything else sucked and wasn't worth the 100 bucks tonight. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Figured we try this place out, looks nice and probably a good place to just drink at. Good service but some of the worst food in the Tampa Bay Area. If you're going to dinner, skip this one and if you want to try this place out just go for the drinks. read more

Had the coconut shrimp with fries. Served in a paper bowl that looked like it was a kids meal. 6 small shrimp, small amount of soggy greasy French fries, n a tablespoon of sauce. Certainly was not a $16.99 meal! read more

Ambiance is great but food is terrible. Ceviche was unrecognizable as ceviche and the grouper was very fishy.

I suggest staying away from this place. I just went this past Wednesday stay and I got food poisoning. The food is HORRIBLE. I don't drink so I can't comment on that. Atmosphere is nice though and the location as well. This place could be a great but again the food is absolutely horrendous. This is my second time being there and the first time was just as bad. read more

Portion sizes irregular. Huge fish pieces on much smaller bread in the sandwich. Hard to handle and almost pointless to eat as a sandwich but flavor was good. Grouper sandwich was opposite with bread being larger than the portion of fish. Fish tacos seemed over priced in relation to 3 tacos and disproportionate fish servings in each of the 3 but flavor was good and should have a choice of fries or tortilla chips. Fish and chips was same huge fish portion as the sandwich. Definately want to go again when weather is better so that we could enjoy outside seating. read more

I was really hoping to enjoy this new bar. I've seen a ton of advertisements about it but it was just ok in my opinion. I've worked in hospitality for 6 years and understand that this is a new restaurant. However the food was really lack luster , the coconut shrimp had no coconut on them. It came with fries and there was maybe 12 fries on my tray. For $14.99 , I was hoping the fry portion size would be better. But the shrimp were a decent size! We also had the chips n salsa, our favorite salsa was the tomatillo one. And an order of half dozen oysters which were good as well. We also got a few drinks. Pina colada , watermelon margarita and am on tap rum punch. The drinks were good and strong, almost a little too strong but good. For myself : an appetizer, shrimp basket and 2 drinks came to $48 before tax. Over all , I think I would maybe come back for just the chips and drinks. I wasn't really that impressed with the main dishes. But I'll check them out again at a later date if I'm in the area again. PS! We had a few waitresses and they were all great read more

We enjoyed a delicious lunch. The Weeki Wachee watermelon appetizer was fantastic. Brandon our server did a great job taking care of us!

Loved it! First time. Great service. Atmosphere was relaxed and the salads were terrific. Met friends from Sarasota 1/2 way and this place was certainly relaxed and beautiful. Live music on the deck. An added bonus. read more

the food was just ok and a tad overpriced. minimal to no presentation. seems like a good place to watch a game and have a few beers, but this is certainly not a good place for dinner. service was great. read more

Great addition to the Riverview scene. Food is amazing, drinks are amazing, atmosphere is fantastic, even during this crazy time. Staff does a great job trying to manage all COVID restrictions, no easy feat. Friendly and personable, despite managing a challenging time. So glad to welcome to them to the neighborhood! read more

The vibe is perfect, but restaurants live and die by their menu, and although their selection looks fun and creative, the delivery is poorly executed. The food is comparable to an Applebee's with a fine dining price tag. The drinks seemed fun on the menu, but were again very disappointing. Service sub par at best. I really hope they can turn this around, I would love to make this a regular spot due to the amazing atmosphere. read more

Perhaps it was the holidays but I was not impressed this time around. They were out of burgers which makes up one third of their menu. The out door heaters smelled like the gas was leaking and I half expected an explosion of some sort during dinner. The food came out cold and was nothing spectacular; I had coconut shrimp but they weren't any better than the frozen ones you find at Publix. read more

I had a girl's meet up here. I give the ambiance and the vibe of this place five solid stars. Love the way it feels. But feelings don't satiate the stomach. First let me say that out Server, Brian, was very good. Now on to why they lost two stars. I ordered the grilled wings and they weren't good at all. I expected the skin on a grilled wing to be somewhat crispy. Instead it was sort of rubbery and slimy. The chicken itself was slightly undercooked as well. So if you order them, ask that they be grilled HARD. I also ordered the fries which were... ok. When the server came to bring the food, my friend's drink, spilled as we moved things around on the table to make room for the plates. This occurred in front of the Server. My friend asked if it could be replaced, after all, although she wasn't totally at fault, it wouldn't have happened had she not been trying to place plates down as we made space. She agreed to replace her alcoholic beverage, but replaced it with a drink that had no alcohol included. She didn't complain because it was her second drink and we were pretty much ready to leave anyway. read more

This is my second visit to Tiki docks. We arrived at 3:45 in the afternoon. Took us 15 minutes to get the attention of a bartender. After that we saw several people come in and it was 15 to 20 minutes before they got the attention of a bartender. Saw one couple leave. They need to get their act together. And they need to school their bartenders in personality. read more

Horrible. From the food to the customer service. Let me start by giving the place credit the atmosphere, minus the rude server Patricia. The food was definitely not worth the price. I got the dockwich burger. I requested pink inside. The burger looked dried out and too my surprise, it was. Along with being dry, it was bland to the point where it reminded me of the cafeteria burgers from elementary school. For my cocktails I had the sangria. It was not good at all. It taste old and fermented. Even the fruit in it looked old. But enough with the food let me get tho the best part. Our rude server Patricia. This girl can use some training in customer service. The tipping point for me was when she came to the table asking if she could clear anything. She got so frustrated that we were handing her stuff which she asked for and then she gets sarcastic and says I just wanted to glasses as she proceeded to roll her eyes at me. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK! Food was less that basic, customer service was garbage, and the drinks were not even good for the price. I don't see this place lasting long unless they make changes. Don't waste your money when you can go to Wawa and get a sandwich, then take it and sit on the river for free. read more

Have to say the place is super nice great views great staff food was very good loved the theme and the look and all the little decorations the only downfall was having a new bartender on such a busy night but with everyone not wanting to work and probably being under staffed I completely understand and the price wasn't to bad will definitely go back read more

Sorry been to the other location twice and just moved into the area. First, when we arrived at 1:45 on Saturday we were told at least a 45-minute wait, they had numerous tables available for seating though-out the hour we were there, so that tells me either a wait staff issue or kitchen issues. No problem we waited 30 Minutes and found a place at the bar. The bar tender was waiting on others that came up to the bar after us and refused to take the full order after requesting repeatedly to do so. When I finally said something to the bartender, she said that she was waiting for an appetizer order first. Due to my husband's sugar being low, we didn't want to wait, she just didn't care or have a hospitable bone in her body, she really didn't even have a personality, not even a welcome or what can I get you. I spoke with the manager who told me that she is his best bartender fully defending her and told me kitchen issues and prior reservations kept them from seating people. This is not how you run a successful business. The Manager could have saved this situation but instead wanted to throw a gift certificate our way and have us go on our way! Sorry, I will NEVER be back and wanted to let other know that your poor business has cost you a customer. read more

Terrible signature salad. Chopped up iceberg lettuce, with minimal add ons. Visual and gastronomical disaster. Over priced and poor value. They have a nice place. Hope the food was half way decent and had better value for money. Probably won't visit again. read more

This is the second time we went here. We only went again because my twin boys wanted to try it for their birthday. Same experience as The first time I went. The atmosphere is good. They have really made this into a nice place to enjoy a drink and music. Just don't order food. Our server apparently didn't understand us (or I think.. really didn't care to). But when you are asked for mild or spicy (crab cakes) and you request not spicy but get spicy anyway and then try to ask the server about it and all you get is "yes those are spicy". By the look on her face had no idea what we were saying, we just dropped it. Also, I ordered the tuna poke bowl, I asked if I could take out the avocados and was told "no, it's premixed". But was NOT told it's freaking made IN half of the avocado to hold the "pre mixed" ingredients. Anyway, we all switched our plates around to other people at our table. I ate chips. Was not happy with the food the first time or the second time. Will not go back. read more

Nice ambiance. Food was delicious. Our waitress Amanda was on point. Nobody's order was wrong.

Tried this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago. Liked it for the most part. On the positive side, the menu was huge and varied. We started out with the salsa and tortilla chips. Large amount of chips and salsa with three different salsas as advertised. All were good but two seemed to be the same with a fruity base. I would have preferred one of the selections being hot but none really were. For our entrees, my wife got the crab cake appetizer and she loved it. I chose the tacos with shrimp, pork belly and fish. All were good but my pork belly taco only had one small piece of pork belly so that was disappointing since it was good otherwise. The fish taco was ok but could have used more seasoning. However, the shrimp taco was excellent. If I get this again I would opt for shrimp for all three. Service was good although we had to wait for longer than necessary to get the check. On the downside, the beer selection could be better, especially IPAs. Also, parking was difficult, particularly in the front. It was difficult for cars to turn around in the circular driveway if no spots were open. We lucked out and scored one of those spots given it was pouring rain when we left. Overall I think this is a nice addition to the food scene in the area and will definitely go back. read more

This restaurant has basic food that is highly overpriced for what it is. I was excited to see a new restaurant coming to our growing area, but it was a let down. They developed lackluster, uninspiring, cultureless menu that caters to people that only want the basics, and then over charge so they can make the payments on the multi million dollar property investment. To sum up, this is a restaurant created by an investment group that is only interested in catering to the masses of bland taste buds, no different than a bunch of boy band creators. read more

Disappointing. Clean, friendly, lively environment. Staff is great - even though they are new. Too bad the food was a total let down. We ordered the ceviche, crab cake appetizer, Hawaiian BLT, and the crabby bloody Mary's. The ceviche was fresh but had a metallic aftertaste. Something wasn't quite right and the chips served with it were stale. The crab cakes were delicious; lots of crab, no filler. I recommend more of the mango salsa and less of the chipotle Mayo. They were smothered in it. The Hawaiian BLT was AWFUL. The pork belly was sliced thin like bacon and I understand the concept but it was over cooked and tasted like pure oil. The BLT sandwich needs a cabbage slaw and bbq sauce. It comes with neither and I can't emphasize enough how bad it was. The drinks were also delicious. Tons of flavor and spice. Stick to any crab related item. Seems to be their best dish. We will be back..for a liquid diet next time. read more

Note: Not the place to go if you're allergic to pineapples. So I guess I should have done my research and checked the menu first but I've never had an issue finding items to eat with a pineapple allergy. Cocktails sure, most fruity drinks use pineapple juice, but not food. This place, on the other hand, uses pineapples in a majority of their food and is unable to just leave them out of the dish. The waitress & host that tried helping me out at my table weren't able to offer any suggestions other than raw oysters. I will say I believe it was the waitress's first day. So poor thing had to deal with me & my pineapple allergy on day one. With that said, towards the end she did seem to forget about us. I was in desperate need of a water refill which I was only able to request when she finally showed up to collect the payment. The person with me had to request extra napkins & sauce numerous times. Again, assuming it was her first day, hopefully this will improve. Overall the place is designed very nice, indoors and out. I arrived around 5pm, found plenty of parking, and was quickly seated. I left a couple of hours later and the place was packed with people. So not much social distancing going on at all. If this is a concern you will not want to go. I had the Strawberry Spiked Lemonade and it was way to sweet. The fish spread was good but nothing you can't find anywhere else. I did like that it was served with pork rinds, that was different. I also had the crab cakes with none of the toppings. They were very rich perhaps it was over salted. The richness of the favor made them to much. It needs something to mellow out to seasonings. I'm giving them 3 stars because the atmosphere was nice but the food & drinks weren't that extraordinary. However it may have been due to the limited options I had. The staff should be more aware of the menu and be able to help offer suggestions. All in all, I'd give it another try but I wouldn't go hungry. . read more

I'm really upset I had an experience like this, I've been looking forward to this location for months with my group of friends. When we arrived we were seated outside after a small wait but waited +30 minutes in a party of 5 in our table, I went to go let someone know we were still waiting over a half out for water or even someone to great us. A polite waiter told us we were seated in a section that was cut and no one told him. After he let us order our food and drinks in one go, we waited before being told the dish I ordered is completely out. I had to select a different dish which took even longer, and by the time we all received our food over an hour had passed. I originally ordered the skirt steak which was out, so I ordered the fish and chips instead. The fries we're great but the fish made me sick to my stomach, and was not cooked properly. At this point I didn't want to add to the situation and just asked for the check and left with my party. Not to mention the countless people falling over by the entrance elevator after having one to many, and seriously did not help our already extremely frustrating dinner. The waiter understood our frustration which made things a bit better. Masks also didn't seem like much of a priority there, social distancing was somewhat practiced with tables but staff did not enforce masks. I really hope our first experience was a rare circumstance, because it left such a negative impression on us locals. read more
