Ordered my food through the yep app when I arrived I discovered that "chow now" is more expensive than the store price. For example the shrimp platter in-store is $13.99, online the price is 16.99... We had been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so happy we finally did. There are a lot of good things on the menu. We ordered the Seafood and fries which came with one piece of fried basa and 10 fried shrimp. We also had the hummus and pita. The seafood plate was really good. The fish, shrimp and steak fries were all very crispy and fresh. Shrimp weren't rubbery (one thing I hate about other restaurants) and the fish was cooked perfectly without being dry or overcooked. The hummus was nice and smooth and flavorful and the pita was warm. I wish they had coca cola products (they have Pepsi) but that is not a deal breaker. The food from Zeko's is pretty standard as far as Mediterranean food is concerned, it was good, but not mind blowing. The portion sizes were generous (lots of French fries included). The lamb gyro I had was good, it had a decent flavor and lots of tzatziki. I wasn't blown away by the French fries, they were a lightly underwhelming, but I am sure if I had put them in the oven for a little bit they would have been crispier. They totally deserve 5 stars based on the service and quality. I'm going back for more of that jumbo fried shrimp. Heck, I'll even go back for their regular size shrimp. It was so wonderful! I know they have other locations in the Tampa Bay area, but this one is in Riverview on US Hwy 301 and Krycul Ave (or Duncan Rd, or Gornto Lake Rd). That road gets renamed 3 times as you're driving through Brandon to Riverview. It eventually becomes Krycul once you cross over 301. Anyway, Zeko's is behind a gas station and next door to Flavaz Jamaican Grill (another great restaurant). This place is kind of a hidden gem. I've been ordering from this place for delivery for a while now but today I went in for the first time. The food here is always fresh and made to order and as many times as I've ordered it's never been a miss. Their gyros are amazing. The gizzards always crisp and I love how they don't have that yucky oily aftertaste they are seriously so good! I've had their burgers which did not disappoint either and their wings are always fire! I was craving some Mediterranean food so this place was nearby and the reviews were almost perfect! What else was stopping me from visiting this place? I had seen a picture uploaded to the business here on Yelp that had a beef and chicken dish with rice but when I looked at the menu and asked the friendly cashier, he mentioned to me that they didn't have any dishes of the kind but I could do a chicken and beef kabob and that was probably the closest rendition I would have to it and so I did! Ordered it with rice and chop chop. Also had a gyro with fries and why not add 20 traditional wings on top of that! Place wasn't too crowded and there was more to go orders than sit in and dine orders so we were able to find a booth to sit in as an employee delivered our meal to us. It's a self service kind of thing where you go order and take a number and sit and they come bring you your food. Chicken and beef kabobs with rice and chop chop - the beef was very meaty, seems like it was part of the bum of the beef and was not very desirable to me. The chicken was okay, it was good. The rice and chop chop was very refreshing so that was good. Gyro with fries - it was good, a standard gyro in a pita bun. Fries were actually pretty delicious! The seasoning was on point! I love this place so so much! I've been here just about 4 times now. I only discovered it very recently and since the first time, I've been back as often as I could! The place is always immaculately clean. The staff, service and management is always so wonderful. Seriously, They always put a smile on my face and make me feel so happy and welcomed every single time. The food is also Alwayyys delicious. So I love and greatly appreciate their consistency. I've had the chicken shawarma platter a couple of times. This has the chicken shawarma wrap with your choice of sides. I got it once with fries and the chop chop salad and the other time with rice and chop chop salad. Whichever side you end up choosing, you can't go wrong. Just go with your mood that day. The wrap itself consists of super beautifully cooked chicken, pickles and garlic sauce (yummmm! My favorite!). The other plates that my friends and family have had on Zeko's menu are the lamb gyro platter and the steak kebab platter. I personally tried the steak kebab and it was out of this world! DO IT! GET IT! I also tried the lamb gyro and both my friend and I ADORED IT! DO IT! GET IT TOO! I also the hummus. It was fantastic with their pita bread. My first time being at this Greek restaurant and it was amazing. My Sister introduced me to BoZekos Grill, and knowing how picky of an eater I was, she took a chance and I'm so happy she did. What I love the most is how fresh and really delicious everything I've tried so far has been. It's made when you order, so if you want to grab and go super fast, simply call ahead. I usually wait, because it doesn't take all that long for them to make. Zeko's is one of my favorite casual dining restaurants. On this visit I tried the chicken Gyro and the grill shrimp with fries. They both were delicious! They also have daily specials and a few menu items are discounted. Their portions are great. One of the things I always observe about this restaurant is it is always clean. Eating at a clean establishment is a pet peeve of mine so they are rated high in this area with me. Service was fast and food was hot to temperature and freshly made.
