Fried Fish and Shrimps with fries. Everything was crispy and fresh tasting.
    Caridad S.

We had been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so happy we finally did. There are a lot of good things on the menu. We ordered the Seafood and fries which came with one piece of fried basa and 10 fried shrimp. We also had the hummus and pita. The seafood plate was really good. The fish, shrimp and steak fries were all very crispy and fresh. Shrimp weren't rubbery (one thing I hate about other restaurants) and the fish was cooked perfectly without being dry or overcooked. The hummus was nice and smooth and flavorful and the pita was warm. I wish they had coca cola products (they have Pepsi) but that is not a deal breaker. The staff was very pleasant, attentive and helpful. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items soon.

Obvious mold on this slice of cake
    Leda A.

Our order was clearly not fresh! The chicken and beef were extremely tough to chew and visibly dry. Most egregious was the blatant mold growing on the slice of carrot cake! After spending $80 on a meal, the entire family being dissatisfied and grossed out, will not be back.

The food from Zeko's is pretty standard as far as Mediterranean food is concerned, it was good, but not mind blowing. The portion sizes were generous (lots of French fries included). The lamb gyro I had was good, it had a decent flavor and lots of tzatziki. I wasn't blown away by the French fries, they were a lightly underwhelming, but I am sure if I had put them in the oven for a little bit they would have been crispier. My fiancé had a chicken sub with veggies and cheese which I tasted, it was a little bland, but pretty standard. Online ordering was a breeze.

Look at the size of these jumbo shrimp!

They totally deserve 5 stars based on the service and quality. I'm going back for more of that jumbo fried shrimp. Heck, I'll even go back for their regular size shrimp. It was so wonderful! The batter and frying technique is everything. The shrimp and fries were seasoned so well. I'm still craving this shrimp. It was super hot out of the fryer so let it cool off before you take that first bite. But it's so worth the money. I could have shared this with my husband. It was such a large quantity. There were about 10 jumbo shrimp and a ton of thick cut fries. I decided to drop in for lunch based on Auyanna's review. I totally agree with her. The staff was so friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. I was given cocktail sauce for the shrimp, but I didn't need it at all. It was tasty by itself. They have plenty of booth and table seating. The restaurant is clean and roomy. This whole experience makes me want to go back and try other menu items. Maybe a fish and shrimp combo next time. Don't even ask me about their Mediterranean food. I'll have to update this review after I finally try it. I was also surprised to see the coconut lychee drink. It was very good for a bottled SaVia drink, and they had many flavors. It even had little pearls of lychee jellies. It was kind of sweet like a bubble tea. It was great! I know they have other locations in the Tampa Bay area, but this one is in Riverview on US Hwy 301 and Krycul Ave (or Duncan Rd, or Gornto Lake Rd). That road gets renamed 3 times as you're driving through Brandon to Riverview. It eventually becomes Krycul once you cross over 301. Anyway, Zeko's is behind a gas station and next door to Flavaz Jamaican Grill (another great restaurant). This place is kind of a hidden gem. I've only seen it coming from Duncan Rd and always wondered about it. Well, now I don't have to wonder. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I haven't had much experience with the food here, other than the chicken tenders and fries, which were actually pretty good and you get a huge portion. The service is good. The women at the register really nice I'm in love with the smoothies, though they are a bit pricey, but your portion is well worth it.

Can't go wrong with Zeko's! The food is always fresh. Service is quick. Staff is friendly. I've only been here twice. The wings are on the pricey side but they give decent portions for the money u spend!

The sangrias and margaritas for the buy one get one were premade and wine choices were limited. The food was just ok. I got the Acropolis seafood with rice. It was just a few, very small pieces of seafood with veggies as a filler. The service was hit or miss. At times attentive and others it took a while to get back to the table. They also didn't tell us about drink specials initially. Later when our bills came, almost everyone had to send theirs back for edits for the drink specials we did get.

Upon being seated you're served warm and freshly made pita with the most delicious and smooth tzatziki for dipping. Sooo good! We started with the calamari which was perfectly lightly battered and seasoned lightly, and cooked so well it wasn't chewy, had the slight crisp to it, and was served with a slightly battered and fried banana pepper and a few carrot sticks as well. Absolutely delicious. Every time. My daughter had the Acropolis seafood with rice. Sautéed shrimp, mussels, scallops, mushrooms, red onions and bell peppers with Acropolis signature roasted red pepper sauce over rice or penne pasta. Topped with shaved parmesan cheese She's incredibly hard to please and she loved her food. She said the rice was the perfect choice over the pasta as it was lighter for her and so much food she couldn't finish. Very well seasoned and full of flavor. I had the Chicken Rhodes. Premium grilled chicken breast in a manatari sauce, sautéed with artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and olives. Topped with crumbled feta cheese and served with orzo and roasted vegetables. It was DELICIOUS. The chicken was cooked well, but the FLAVORS were a party in my mouth! The roasted vegetables were the best I've had anywhere. Perfectly cooked and the seasoning and flavor was out of this world! I would go just to order the veggies they were that amazing! Brussels, zucchini, squash, and peppers. Fire!! Star of the plate! I demolished them first. The chicken was smothered in delicious toppings! The artichokes, Kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, feta, the sauce, everything was incredibly lip smacking delicious. The orzo was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of flavor to be subtle with the well seasoned veggies and complimented the dish perfectly. It was served with feta, some roasted red peppers, and a few olives in it as well. Our meal was fabulous and I can't wait to go back and try more things off the menu. I have no idea why this place wasn't busier.

Pro-tip: additional parking is located just down the street (look for the blue building with signage). I got to enjoy brunch on the outdoor patio (covered, breezy, and dog-friendly) recently and was blown away. The spanakopita was the perfect, flakey, savory intro and then paired perfectly with the sweet baklava coffee cake and croissant cinnamon roll. All three were exceptional and next time I'll go next door to their market and buy some to take home. From there we dug into breakfast dishes. I shared the Strapatsada (vegetarian, but you can add meat options), which is a Greek scramble with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, grilled baguette; along with the Med Morning Yogurt Bowl (v, gf) featuring fresh berries, house granola, mint, greek thyme honey. The granola was clearly house-made and I would also opt to purchase it at the market if they sell it! Both dishes were satisfying and hit the savory/sweet combo I was searching for.
