#180 This is another one of those strip mall eateries that are easy to miss if you're not looking. Located on 301 near the Bloomingdale intersection Bozeko's says Mediterranean but it is more Greek than Med. this is weird to me because a lot of Greek places are more Med than Greek. Don't come here expecting humus or falafel or any of the med stuff. They have a limited menu consisting gyros and pitas, salads, something called Swirls and fish and shrimp. The place is cafeteria type style, think Quedoba, and although it looks small from the outside it is quite large inside with both booths and tables. Being new is not without some bumps as there was a clearly marked "Order Here" sign but the two young ladies working behind the counter starting taking orders anywhere. They tell you about all their offerings and how fresh everything is and made in house and and and...... When we finally ordered in the proper place, wife ordered a spinach swirl with one side, $5.99, I the shrimp plate with beans and rice, $8.99. I guess the Cuban thing of yellow rice and black beans have permeated our cuisine here even in a place like this. Personally I'm a fan so I didn't mind. And since they were baked fresh we ordered a pita to try. Pepsi products here so be warned if you're a coke lover. The food came fairly quickly. Wife's swirl turned out to be something resembling Spanikopita, only in a pastry tube all curled up in a pinwheel type dish. She also got what looked like tomato salad. My shrimp was plentiful, 20 to be exact, with a light batter and absolutely no grease. The beans and rice were fine. Now for some bads. They did not have any butter in the place, nor hot sauce or cocktail sauce for the shrimp. And in spite of all the talk of fresh the fish and shrimp are frozen. The food was good, not priced out of this world and the place is nice enough for a quick meal, not fancy by any means. read more

I don't typically leave many reviews but if I could save one person from going here it was worth it. Zero stars would be more fitting if I could give it. Usually when trying a new Greek place a Gyro is a good way to test the waters. The pita was stale & the meat was dry. The tzatziki sauce didn't even taste like tzatziki sauce and they put a whole slice of thick old onion at the bottom of the sandwich. The fries were so grease soaked, soggy & COVERED in salt. Wow! We typically like Zeko's but tonight was too tough to not make mention of. Placed an order on the phone to pick up. While the female server was clearly distracted on the phone she did repeat our order , took the name and gave us a $$ total. Such a surprise when we drive all the way there and then told they have no order for us. And since they are clearly busy and overwhelmed, we can get our food at all. Ordered food to eat in, I didn't like the chicken gyro I ordered because of the dryness of the chicken so I went back to the counter to complain. Their response was they are unable to refund or give me something else on the menu because it's store policy. I have only order from this location for carry out. Every time that I called, the attendent was very nice and took my order. It's always the 10-15 minutes. I always order the gyro platter and that is around $9. This location is kinda hidden behind a gas station. It has its very own parking. The place looks nice. The food has a decent portion. I have ordered a Greek salad and it has a lot. I would have taken pictures but I was too hungry. A good place to get a quick bite to eat with out killing the bank. read more

Great find in Riverview. We had a steak sandwich, lamb gyro, and chicken shawarma wrap. All of them were excellent. The tzaziki sauce tasted fresh, the garlic sauce had flavor, and the veggies were plentiful. The portions were big so you won't leave hungry. We will be back. read more

My great experience started off on the phone, when a very polite employee answered all my questions and was very thorough about my order. When I walked in the place looks like you could eat off the floors. Very clean. I order the Gyro sandwich with potato salad and onion rings and everything was amazing I was fighting my husband over how many bites we each we're taking. Went there for lunch and ordered a grilled fish with fries. The fries were seasoned and great whereas the fish had a good taste but needed to be cooked a little more. After my 3rd bite into the fish I found a hair! This totally turned me off! I asked for a refund since I noticed the cooks didn't use a hair net and wondered how many more hair was going to be in the food. The manager told me that Zeko's policy is that they can only exchange the food or give a credit but they cannot give the money back! When I walked in the establishment is Clean and I was greeted immediately. The clerk was friendly and helpful. This was my first visit and I asked for a menu. The clerk explained there were no menu except online and the menu board. I ordered the chicken swarma and chop chop salad. After speaking with my Godsister, i orfeeed the garlic sauce and black beans and rice with Baklava for desert. The beans and rice were phenomenal. The rice was seasoned and cooked to perfection and with the chop chop salad on top, Oh My Goodness. The chicken swarma was delicious. I will return again. read more

This place is pretty good. I love their Greek Gyro salads. The only reason why I give it a three stars is because I ordered a chicken kabob for my kiddo and after feeding him a couple pieces I realized the chicken was under cooked. The food is very good here but they were nickel-and-diming us for extras. We spent about $75 here on a Sunday afternoon and asked for 2 extra sides of dressing. Tiny 2oz sides. They wouldn't give them to us and wanted to charge $.50 per tiny side. To me that's a bit outrageous and overpriced but also bad business to not give a couple of extra Sides of dressing to your customers. The owner/manager is not here on Sundays so the employees were just doing what they were told. I'm not a fan of restaurants that try to nickel-and-dime their customers and don't just accommodate for minuscule things that would improve their customer's experience significantly. Worth the stop though, with fast service and good food!!!!! The fries were even really good & just the right mount if season salt. We tried the gyros and I will say, you will not be disappointed. This place is the best kept secret! The food is so good. The staff works with you so you get excatly what you need. Big orders or little orders you are treated the same with great service and even better food! The kabobs are my favorite beef or chicken they are always delicious. The smoothies are big and fruity! The staff is really friendly but the food is just mediocre. We got the Greek salad and falafel pita with fries. The salad was pretty plain with mostly lettuce and we found a hair in it. The pita was ok. We found it a bit odd that there were pickles in it. Overall it just wasn't what we expected. Recently, visited this restaurant and ordered take-out- when I got home and opened my food- I saw hair in my fried fist and shrimp- which soiled my appetite. I went back to Zeko's and explained the situation to the cashier- she was understanding and provided my money back and also offered a piece of cake as a gesture good customer service. However, the cook/manager came out and said that I do not deserve a piece of cake because I got my money back. I tried to be calm however, he continued to escalate the situation- I explained to him that this could be a reason for me to sue. He said I got my money back and I need to leave. At that time- I got irate and explained to the customers in the installation that this place is nasty because they fried food with hair in it, and this is not right.
