I had high hopes. I follow their Instagram page and saw their tropical açaí bowl and strawberry matcha and they looked delicious! I ordered both and had to wait 30 minutes for them which they said would be the case. However, what I waited for was not worth it. The strawberry matcha looked like it would have maybe a strawberry purée or something more flavorful but nope, I think a small pump of strawberry SYRUP was added and the matcha was very grainy. The bowls granola was OLD and STALE! the huge chunks of nuts I got into were so stale and gross and almost broke my teeth. The fruit was few and far between. Went here on a hot day after a long walk with my friends. I got the green queen juice. It tasted healthy and the celery and ginger profile really came through. I do wish it were colder though. My friend's watermelon slush was also not icy enough as a slush but it tasted refreshing with a nice taste of mint leaves. My friend had an itchy throat and also took a wellness ginger shot and felt better immediately. My other friend's delta breeze smoothie had a strong hint of apple juice. The drinks were what we were looking for. The ambiance is the drawback. There were a lot of flies and the trash bins were pretty filled. The tables were also pretty dirty. Stopped here on my way to San Francisco. I was attracted by the huge selection of vegan food options here. We ordered salad and a burrito. The salad had big pieces of vegetables & was barely put together. The burrito was flavorless, and I overheard one of the servers asking another about the recipe for the burrito. When I asked for some sauce/salsa to go along with the burrito, I was told that it doesn't come with any. My impression is that this place is staffed by students from the university who barely care about food or service and are just running their shifts. I loved the great service very positive experience and nice surroundings was a beautiful day for a treat so I got the tomatoes sandwich with a side salad so delicious it melted in my mouth with flavor. Different than when it first opened, and different experience with who I assume the owners are? Which is not good. The workers are generally nice and accommodating, which is why I continue to go back. However, this experience was not as pleasant and only due to the fact that the owners were there, which is bizarre cause when owners are typically in a restaurant the customer experience is turned up a dial, not down. I run a business aswell so I get having to deal with food costs, Karen's, etc. However. When a guest asks for an accommodation, you can give a reasoning and still come off warm. But there was push back when there so little food already come now. It's only going to break your bank when your sales are already dipping. Not giving good service is not going to help, some food for thought. read more

Three ladies is a super cute brunch/lunch spot in downtown Davis. It is VERY vegetarian/vegan friendly and healthy too! The smoothies look great and so do all of the menu items. My only complaint is that the portions are a little small for the price. We got the breakfast burrito, breakfast açaí bowl, and a lavender latte. Lavender latte: Really yummy! This was perfect for me (a person who doesn't like the taste of coffee but likes coffee drinks). Nice and sweet but not too hot. Breakfast açaí bowl: One of the better açaí bowls I've had. Homemade granola, blueberries, bananas, and strawberries. Nice and cold and a refreshing breakfast. Breakfast burrito: Pretty small for $7. The cabbage was a little unexpected but it felt healthy. Staff is single-handedly the rudest most sarcastic staff in any downtown Davis establishment. I approached a member of the staff and his sigh of frustration and rolling of his eyes were provoked by a simple question. No sign of emotional maturity or glimpse of experience in customer service positions. He answered my closed ended question with a sarcastic long passive aggressive answer prompt. As a new customer I had a second question about the menu and he responded in a similar way, "the ingredients are listed on the menu". I responded with, "my question is are the ingredients listed blended in or are they toppings" referring to the açaí bowls. I was with a group of people and once we regrouped we all had brought up the cashiers terrible unprovoked attitude. The cashier was distributing food and gave our table the wrong order. We took the items back inside and a different person behind the counter took the food and REDISTRIBUTED the food! It's one thing to be rude and it's another to completely ignore health and food safety. Once my table got our soupy açaí bowls we decided this is not a place that we would be spending our money at. I really liked how some of the smoothies were named after classic children's books like "The Hungry Caterpillar" and "Blueberries for Sal!" The cafe has a nice laidback vibe with indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I ended up eating at there several days in row (sometimes just to grab a smoothie). Extremely disappointed in our experience here. The kitchen appeared messy. The customer service was poor and the staff were unfriendly. They did not provide the appropriate utensils for our meal. The food was underwhelming with small portions for the price. The sandwich bread was overly toasted and dry with very little aioli. Overall, the sandwich was very plain. I really like this local cafe. Staff is super friendly, and Michael is super helpful when I talked to him in person and over the phone when I placed a catering order. The time I went in person my coworkers and I all had their amazing coffee. My coworker ordered the breakfast sandwich that was massive and looked really good which I can't wait to try myself. My other coworker ordered the breakfast burrito and it took a long time and she even had to ask about it and it still took another 15 minutes after she asked about it. Catering was excellent, Michael even showed up early, and its helpfully office is close to downtown. My event was small for 15 people, but everyone was impressed with the sandwiches, salad and fruit platters I ordered. I get it. There's a pandemic, you are busy. It's difficult. That doesn't mean you get to cheat customers by passing off a boiled egg as a deviled egg, while charging 3 dollars for it. You could've simply cancelled that item and not charged me for it in the beginning, doordash has this feature. You could've also just apologized and been nice over the phone, but instead I got a nasty attitude and excuses. Excuses for trying to cheat customers? There are none, you just apologize and own up to your mistake. Since I ordered two eggs (3 dollars per egg) it is very obvious which one is just a plain boiled egg. If you don't have the item, don't charge me for it. When you make a mistake, apologize and own up for it.
