I'm not a huge fan of cafes because I think it's overpriced for simple sandwiches you can make at home. My bf ordered a TLC BLT and it came out how I was expecting it would... very... plain and overpriced. I ordered their seasonal black beans and sweet potato burrito. I couldn't even finish it because it was so bland. The cheese inside also wasn't fully melted. Sauce paired with it would have been nice. read more

Come for: Fresh smoothies and clean ingredients for the whole menu. Great spot for chatting or doing laptop work. They have a nice seating area to the left hallway of the register that we didn't realize till we were about to leave. Food: we got the chicken burrito bowl and seasonal spring citrus bowl. Fairly certain that the food is mostly microwave ready cooked, but the chicken in the burrito bowl was extremely succulent, and the bowls were filling. Drinks: The Matcha Magic smoothie was overpowered a bit by the banana, but banana is a strong flavor to begin with. The iced lavender latte is more coffee forward, so if you're looking for something sweeter, consider asking for extra lavender syrup. I believe they're more well known for their sandwiches, so we will be back to try the sandwiches as well as some other top drinks. read more

I really like it here. I think the smoothies are delicious and their food as well. Flavor is there. The only reason I gave 4 stars because the wait is always ao long. They don't have enough staff and the bathrooms aren't the cleanest, I think the inside needs a full revamp, cleaning, etc. The plants are dying and dying outside. I want to know that the place looks clean and well taken care of on the inside and outside of a place where I purchase items to eat. The staff is always working effortlessly. I would love to give this place more but unfortunately while we were eating there was a large cockroach on the floor. I dont known if it came in from outside or if there's a deeper problem. Either way, there was some cleanliness issues and the roach just put me over the top. I sadly cannot recommend this place. read more

The service was quick and attentive. The ambiance was honestly very calming and nice. Overall it is very pricey. I ordered 2 juices, 1 burrito and 1 tomato soup. The total for all that was a little over $50. Now would I go again, yes because it was delicious. I would but just be wary that it is pricey. read more

Food: Tasty sandwich, but felt I paid a lot for a sandwich that was on the smaller side. Service: Friendly staff, service can be slow, but possibly because I ordered fresh pressed juice. We stopped in for a quick bite and ordered the Chicken Pesto Caprese, Matcha Latte with Strawberry, and Endless Summer fresh pressed juice (pineapple, cucumber, lemon, and mint). The sandwich was very tasty, but it was on the smaller side and wasn't very filling. The Endless Summer pressed juice was pretty bland and tasted mostly like cucumber juice. I was hoping to taste a good balance of the pineapple juice, but could hardly taste it. Not sure if it's dependent on who is making it? If you're into healthy choices, you may enjoy this restaurant. Cute hipster health cafe near the train station in Amtrak the staff was friendly and it wasn't too busy on a Sunday midday when campus wasn't in session. The food is very pricey (break burrito ~$15 ish) so expect to spend $50 or more for a small bites and beverage for two people. We tried the breakfast burrito which was underwhelming on many levels. I appreciate restaurants taking risks in taking traditional dishes and elevating them with new or unique ingredients but the addition of cabbage and chipotle mayo were big misses on this selection. The flavor was flat and for being at a price point closer to $20 I would've expected a lot more. It is more of a healthy hipster twist to breakfast burrito instead of potato's, chorizo, bell peppers and eggs I was expecting. I would suggest the kitchen to avoid changing the contents of the burrito and focus perhaps on unique salsa's to dress it up instead. Unlikely to return but if I would it would solely be for the juices or coffee instead of main kitchen offerings. read more

To be honest, I have never tried this place before and was curious about the location. Upon entering, there was a single person working behind the counter. On first look of the store, it was cluttered and messy. The counter was filled with signage, A frames, and posters everywhere. The Green Queen was the right choice, slightly sweet, not overpowered by ginger, my stomach was intrigued. That Chickpea and Avocado sandwich made me so happy, beautifully toasted sourdough bread, and thank you for not over salting those perfectly ripe California avocados! This was my third time at this café, and it was the worst. I hate to write bad reviews because I don't want to hurt someone's business but this was the most disappointing breakfast I've ever had out. The order came and it was the wrong order, the toast was cold. My chai latte was lukewarm and when they tried to fix the order, it was still wrong for my friend who made her food sensitivities very clear to the woman taking her order. Vegan success for Vegan-January "Veganuary" 2026! Sunday visit late lunch early dinner - large vegan menu with a diverse selection from soups, salads, entrées, wraps, and drinks. We ordered one vegan spinach wrap, it was large in size full of fresh healthy nutritious ingredients. Filling and satisfying. Also ordered Thai rainbow salad, I pleasing presentation, called crisp fresh ingredients on top of a warm bed of nutritious quinoa. Slightly spicy peanut dressing, warmed me up on a cold day. Total came for two entrées to about $30. Lots of open available indoor seating, clean and comfortable. Pleasant service no weight. Easy free parking. Definitely a double thumbs up and highly recommend to anyone seeking a heart healthy cardio, healthy meal in a relaxed, no stress environment. The salad was ready when they said it would be and service was friendly. The strawberries were fresh and tasted ripe. The nuts gave the salad some extra variety and the dressing was light. Maybe we were there at an off day. We ordered and found a place to sit and waited. After 30 minutes we inquired about our food and found out that the did not "process our order". Once we found out we fell thru the cracks then we waiting. Not too long my burrito was delivered in a too go and was very hot with frill marks on the outside. My husband did not have his and a while longer his came our with a repeat of my order and this time the burrito was tepid in texture and not grilled and she just left it at the table even though it was a duplicate. I guess while I went to get more water another table received a duplication to their order. The food was OK. Nothing that I would come back for again. Stopped by here after arriving at the Davis Amtrak station since it was around a 3 minute walk. I ordered the tomato basil soup, a club sandwich, and the seasonal specialty berry smoothie bowl. I spent a total of $37 and sat outside to wait for my order. They all came out one at a time, the club sandwich coming first. It was cut into fourths and was so neat! I loved it, definitely super filling and the sourdough bread was delicious. The berry smoothie bowl was a little too warm for my liking, I would've preferred if it was icier. The tomato basil soup was rich and delicious, I never would've been able to guess that it was a vegan option! The texture was so creamy. Overall, I would come here again but it was a tad pricey. Service was good, the food came out quickly but I hoped it would because we were the only customers at the time. I came back to this place for a smoothie bowl, and I'm so disappointed that the menu is not transparent in its pricing. I wanted to make my own smoothie bowl, which allows me to select 5 ingredients, but apparently some ingredients are premium so it's an additional charge that was not listed on the menu. I questioned the additional charge on the organic spinach only to be told that it's an extra fee. The staff worker there was sympathetic but wasn't able to help resolve the issue. I got a Hannah Banana smoothie because strawberries, bananas, and oats sounded delicious. Judging from the color of it though, I should've known it wouldn't be flavorful. Not terrible, but not the balance of fruits and oats I expected. I've had smoothies with oats in it before, but this one was very heavy on the oats, making it a bit bland. I also wished they used a bit more ice to make it colder, since we had a heat wave this week. Next, the breakfast burrito was pretty decent. I've never had a soy/chorizo burrito with slaw before, but Davis is pretty yt and it wasn't a bad combo! This is one of the best cafes that I've visited during the pandemic! They have great outdoor seating, which still feels much safer than indoor dining right now. It includes 2 picnic tables with bench seating and a few 2-person round tables. The inside of the cafe is small and cutely decorated. I was surprised by how large their menu was-- but I absolutely loved their mushroom, cheese, and egg panini. So crunchy and fresh! Would highly recommend getting it. I also got a latte, which had a great coffee flavor that wasn't over powered by almond milk. This place is so good! Best chai latte I've ever had, they make it in house. Several of their dressings and sauces are made in house and they have a binder that lists all their ingredients. This made it so easy for me to pick something that fit with my many dietary restrictions. Service was excellent a very, very sweet, helpful young lady and the ambience was very relaxing as well.
