I had an excellent experience at this UPS Store yesterday. I needed color copies printed of a board meeting presentation, and the staff here was great to work with. I called the store, got their email address, and emailed the presentation to them. I then called to confirm receipt. They were able to have my printouts ready for pick up in less than 45 minutes, which I really appreciated. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Thank you for your support, UPS Store Burlingame! read more

This is the best business to use for shipping, Amazon returns, notary services, post box services... I have used almost every other business in the area and have found Shruti and her staff to be the most helpful and knowledgable. I have never had a complaint or problem and have always left very satisfied with their customer service! read more

Customer service from Loly is top tier. She is fast and very sweet working herself and getting stuff done helping more then one customer at a time, like the best of women do! Love meeting other friendly women that make your day easier just because. She didn't owe me anything and helped me out with my returns getting back to SHEIN to make my day go easier. God blesses women like Loly and I probably won't go to any other UPS to drop off returns. Thanks again Loly give this girlie a raise! read more

I came here Friday afternoon to ship a package. I had no label so I was planning to pay when I got to UPS. I have shipped to this location before and usually ship ground as it is only a state away. The person who helped me was not so friendly she was a trainee per her name badge. I gave her my information to access my UPS account knowing the address I was shipping to should be on file. I gave her my small box that weighed less than 1 lb. The shipping was charge was double from what I usually pay. I paid with apprehension but nonetheless my package still needs to get to its destination. I spoke with rep on the phone about shipping charges and since this location is a franchise they may charge whatever price they would like. I also confirmed on the website of the price of the package and it was a different price from online and in person. I went back to the UPS store to go over the charges for FedEx ground the two people who were there were little to no help. I just wanted to ensure the price I paid was accurate and shipping FedEx ground (the cheapest option). I also asked what time pickup is and they state is varies everyday just disappointed in the customer service experience and discrepancies in charges. I wouldn't recommend going to this store. The one in Milbrae is much better! read more

Earlier this year, I needed to ship my Canon DSLR camera to Canon USA's West Coast service center in Costa Mesa for warranty repairs. I brought in my camera, paid a substantial fee for packaging and shipping, and the UPS Store did the rest of the work. I preferred to let the experts pack my camera, rather than try to do it myself and then have Canon blame me for in-transit damage for not packing it properly. The technician in Costa Mesa diagnosed a defective camera shutter, then shipped the camera to their East Coast service center in Newport News to have the shutter replaced under warranty. My DSLR camera was subsequently repaired and shipped back from Virginia, and is fully operational again. So I am very happy with this store. I will definitely consider them when I need to ship things in the future. read more

Above-and-beyond service from Shruti at the Burlingame UPS Store! Shruti at the Burlingame UPS Store on Howard Avenue deserves special recognition. She went above and beyond to help me when I accidentally labeled my package incorrectly and was about to lose $60. When I called in a panic, she personally searched through all the outgoing boxes, found mine, and corrected it on the spot, even though the store was packed with customers. Thanks to her, my package went out properly, and I didn't lose a cent. This level of care and dedication is what makes this location so special. The entire team provides exceptional service and is always willing to help, not just in the store but throughout the neighborhood. They're truly part of the Burlingame community, professional, kind, and community-minded. Five stars, without question. read more

Dont go here, you could lose your expensive package. And will not get any help/ accountability from this store This is to reply to the staff's response: Hi Shruti, Your response doesn't reflect what actually happened. I stayed calm the entire time, cause i needed your help but i had to eventually tell you there was no reason for you to get upset when I was explaining what happened. I lost my receipt yes but instead of offering help, you did not offer any assistance like to check the drop-off log or review the security footage, even though it had only been two weeks since I dropped off my package on October 13. You were so quick to dismiss me You the staff, also admitted that your drivers don't always do a good job scanning packages, yet blamed me for not keeping the receipt. When I called you out and said you didn't need to get mad, I saw your demeanor shift from dismissive to embarrassed because there were customers and staff there. Why are you denying what really happened? Or actually lying about what happened? If your store "has never lost a package," then why admit that your drivers often fail to scan them? That contradiction says a lot about this store and you as an employee or worse the owner of this store. I didn't come in angry; I came in asking for help. But was given an awful experience. As a manager in a customer-facing business, you should know better than to raise your voice or dismiss a customer asking for basic assistance. I hope this encourages you for more accountability and professionalism moving forward. Initial Review: I dropped off an Amazon return at this UPS Store on October 13, 2025, and the staff accepted my package but never performed the acceptance scan. When I realized the tracking never updated, I went back to the store and spoke with the manager, Shruti. She was rude, dismissive, and raised her voice instead of helping. She refused to check the drop-off log and claimed the security camera "doesn't go that far," even though it had only been two weeks since I dropped off the package. What made it worse is that she admitted their drivers don't always do a good job scanning packages, yet still blamed me for not having the receipt. That's completely unacceptable for someone working in customer service. She should know better than to treat a paying customer like that or talk over someone who's clearly just trying to find a missing package. Because of this store's negligence, UPS has no record of my return, and I've had to file investigations with both UPS and Amazon while involving my bank to protect myself from being charged. If you use this location, do not leave without a receipt and make sure they scan the package in front of you. Also, avoid dropping off boxes that show logos or names of retailers that might contain expensive items, since it increases the risk of theft or mishandling. This store needs serious retraining on professionalism and accountability. Go to a different UPS location where customers are treated with respect and basic competence. read more

incredible customer service ! so helpful and patient with all customers. very conscientious of customer's waiting time and always willing to go the Extra mile for clients. always welcoming and kind to all! A very happy customer, T read more

One of the worst customer experiences imaginable. Although the UPS store ostensibly offers shredding of documents, you need to know a) that there is no shredding on site and b) more importantly, the bins in which you put your documents to be shredded are invariably full, which means 1) they aren't getting them emptied frequently enough. Biggest turn-off is the owner. Would you honor a 15% off coupon? So you have it with you, if no, I won't. Clearly conveys the message that: you can do business with me, or not. I don't care. There are other UPS stores in Millbrae and at least 2 in San Mateo. No one should subject themselves to this horrible customer experience. read more

Shruti the manager helped me with a large corporate IT equipment return and was super patient, empathetic and comprehensive despite a long line. Great service and thank you! 5 stars read more

Thank you for your reply, Shruti. I'd like to clarify that my concern wasn't just about timing or staffing--it was about fair and consistent pricing. Your response implies that pricing is flexible and negotiable depending on the customer's reaction, which raises concerns. Everyone deserves transparent, reasonable pricing up front--not the sense that prices might change based on who's asking or how they respond. It's not acceptable for any business to acknowledge pricing concerns and then frame a customer's decision to walk away as the issue. That's not how fair service works. I hope you'll take this feedback seriously and consider a clearer, more standardized approach to pricing that doesn't leave customers feeling like they're being gouged or expected to negotiate basic services. read more

I needed help returning a defective speaker and the staff was extremely professional, patient, friendly, and efficient. It was a busy time (2 hours till closing and before the new year) and I was so impressed with how the staff managed the surge in customers. And they serviced everyone with an authentic smile. What a way to end 2025. Congratulations to the staff, and Happy New Year! read more

very slow, unprofessional and uncaring mean staff. When I entered the store there was one man helping a customer who had several big boxes and there was nobody else. The man should've called person to come out from the back but he didn't, (later she came out by herself) made me assume that he was the only one working. One other lady came out from the back but went back in and she did it at least twice but appeared clocked-out and ready to leave. She should've notified a person in the back that a customer was waiting. Also, when I entered the store, the bell-sound should've notified everybody that a customer has entered and the person needed to come out of the backroom, but nobody did. The 2nd working-person came out only to vacuum the floor. When I told her that I had been waiting for 10 minutes, she said: "you should have been waiting in line (behind the lady) and not at the counter, so we'd know you need to be served", that was a very bad excuse. What difference would it have made either way? The man behind the counter knew I had just walked in and had not been served and didn't call anybody out, the working-lady never came out to see whether I was in line or behind the available counter and the 2nd clocked-out lady going back and forth knew that with you sitting in the backroom, there would've been nobody else to serve me. The 2nd associate was the elderly man who does not help customers and only prepare packages for the ups pick up. If he did serve customers, then shame on him too because he saw me waiting several times. And this was not their first time trying to delay and frustrate me. read more

Great staff at this office . Congenial, efficient, employees. I highly recommend this UPS

Thee most incompetent workers ever. Also they try an upsell you on all their shipping saying UPS ground isn't safe. Horrible.

Great to have a locally owned and operated UPS store in the neighborhood. Great service and convenient options. I have used them for printing and passport photos, but they offer so much more! read more

I have been going to this UPS for years and have always thought it to be the nicest of people working there and also the quickest in/out more so than any other drop off, even other UPS stores are not as great as the one here on Howard. We had a package that had a high insured value which was not handled well by the UPS app. We talked to 15 (yes) UPS folks on the various UPS help lines. 13 of the 15 were completely ignorant of the "high-value" process and the other 2 gave us incorrect and incomplete inputs. Another UPS Store said the only explanation was that we had erred in our use of the app. So we walked into Shruti's UPS Store with little hope that we would be more successful. Ten minutes later our package was on overnight delivery with $25,000 of insurance. Expertise and diligence make a difference. This is the place to go. read more

The Owner Shruti is rude and not helpful at all. I had to move away due to the Pandemic and I was using this location as my Business Address. When I call to ask for mail she always says in a very arrogant voice. "I'm sorry I have people in front of me." My thoughts are "then hire more people". I am paying for the Mailbox and she treats me like I am a second class citizen. She and her staff are unprofessional. She doesn't seem to care. I had to cost me 1000's of dollars in penalties. read more

Fast service, location and parking great! Very helpful and makes the chore go soooo fast! Save this location for your Holiday needs!

Really great team of people running this place. Professional, fast, and very helpful. Shruti in particular is awesome :)

Everytime I come here, there is always a group of staff who are extremely friendly, and always welcoming me with a smile and helpful service. Shruti is the manager, together she has a group of staff who are very nice. The place is busy as there are many people coming in and out having mailing service. I am a part-time artist and need to scan my painting from time to time. And the staff is always there to help me resolve issues, and help me get the right paper and right settings. The office is conveniently located and has been my favorite UPS store to go to. read more

I've had varying degrees of service from this location, so I wasn't expecting much when I returned to attempt to retrieve a package that I had mailed this morning, through no fault of UPS. Lucky me -- Ted was my person this afternoon. At first he said that it most likely had already gone out, but the UPS driver was still there loading packages. Ted asked me to step aside for a moment because there was a long line. When he was free, he went to the truck and worked some magic with the driver (Yuki) and he returned soon with my package. I won't go into why it was so important to get the package back, but I have to say, Ted made my day! He is a great example to his co-workers of fantastic customer service and surprising and delighting a customer. Yuki was very kind too. read more
