I called the store, got their email address, and emailed the presentation to them. I then called to confirm receipt. Earlier this year, I needed to ship my Canon DSLR camera to Canon USA's West Coast service center in Costa Mesa for warranty repairs. I brought in my camera, paid a substantial fee for packaging and shipping, and the UPS Store did the rest of the work. I preferred to let the experts pack my camera, rather than try to do it myself and then have Canon blame me for in-transit damage for not packing it properly. The technician in Costa Mesa diagnosed a defective camera shutter, then shipped the camera to their East Coast service center in Newport News to have the shutter replaced under warranty. My DSLR camera was subsequently repaired and shipped back from Virginia, and is fully operational again. So I am very happy with this store. I will definitely consider them when I need to ship things in the future. read more

And will not get any help/ accountability from this store This is to reply to the staff's response: Hi Shruti, Your response doesn't reflect what actually happened. I stayed calm the entire time, cause i needed your help but i had to eventually tell you there was no reason for you to get upset when I was explaining what happened. I lost my receipt yes but instead of offering help, you did not offer any assistance like to check the drop-off log or review the security footage, even though it had only been two weeks since I dropped off my package on October 13. You were so quick to dismiss me You the staff, also admitted that your drivers don't always do a good job scanning packages, yet blamed me for not keeping the receipt. When I called you out and said you didn't need to get mad, I saw your demeanor shift from dismissive to embarrassed because there were customers and staff there. Why are you denying what really happened? Or actually lying about what happened? If your store "has never lost a package," then why admit that your drivers often fail to scan them? That contradiction says a lot about this store and you as an employee or worse the owner of this store. I didn't come in angry; I came in asking for help. But was given an awful experience. As a manager in a customer-facing business, you should know better than to raise your voice or dismiss a customer asking for basic assistance. Initial Review: I dropped off an Amazon return at this UPS Store on October 13, 2025, and the staff accepted my package but never performed the acceptance scan. When I realized the tracking never updated, I went back to the store and spoke with the manager, Shruti. She was rude, dismissive, and raised her voice instead of helping. She refused to check the drop-off log and claimed the security camera "doesn't go that far," even though it had only been two weeks since I dropped off the package. I came here Friday afternoon to ship a package. I had no label so I was planning to pay when I got to UPS. I have shipped to this location before and usually ship ground as it is only a state away. The person who helped me was not so friendly she was a trainee per her name badge. I gave her my information to access my UPS account knowing the address I was shipping to should be on file. I gave her my small box that weighed less than 1 lb. The shipping was charge was double from what I usually pay. I paid with apprehension but nonetheless my package still needs to get to its destination. I spoke with rep on the phone about shipping charges and since this location is a franchise they may charge whatever price they would like. I also confirmed on the website of the price of the package and it was a different price from online and in person. I went back to the UPS store to go over the charges for FedEx ground the two people who were there were little to no help. I just wanted to ensure the price I paid was accurate and shipping FedEx ground (the cheapest option). I also asked what time pickup is and they state is varies everyday just disappointed in the customer service experience and discrepancies in charges. I wouldn't recommend going to this store. The one in Milbrae is much better! read more

One of the worst customer experiences imaginable. Although the UPS store ostensibly offers shredding of documents, you need to know a) that there is no shredding on site and b) more importantly, the bins in which you put your documents to be shredded are invariably full, which means 1) they aren't getting them emptied frequently enough. Biggest turn-off is the owner. Would you honor a 15% off coupon? So you have it with you, if no, I won't. Clearly conveys the message that: you can do business with me, or not. I don't care. There are other UPS stores in Millbrae and at least 2 in San Mateo. No one should subject themselves to this horrible customer experience. read more

very slow, unprofessional and uncaring mean staff. When I entered the store there was one man helping a customer who had several big boxes and there was nobody else. The man should've called person to come out from the back but he didn't, (later she came out by herself) made me assume that he was the only one working. One other lady came out from the back but went back in and she did it at least twice but appeared clocked-out and ready to leave. She should've notified a person in the back that a customer was waiting. Also, when I entered the store, the bell-sound should've notified everybody that a customer has entered and the person needed to come out of the backroom, but nobody did. The 2nd working-person came out only to vacuum the floor. When I told her that I had been waiting for 10 minutes, she said: "you should have been waiting in line (behind the lady) and not at the counter, so we'd know you need to be served", that was a very bad excuse. What difference would it have made either way? The man behind the counter knew I had just walked in and had not been served and didn't call anybody out, the working-lady never came out to see whether I was in line or behind the available counter and the 2nd clocked-out lady going back and forth knew that with you sitting in the backroom, there would've been nobody else to serve me. The 2nd associate was the elderly man who does not help customers and only prepare packages for the ups pick up. If he did serve customers, then shame on him too because he saw me waiting several times. And this was not their first time trying to delay and frustrate me. read more

We had a package that had a high insured value which was not handled well by the UPS app. We talked to 15 (yes) UPS folks on the various UPS help lines. 13 of the 15 were completely ignorant of the "high-value" process and the other 2 gave us incorrect and incomplete inputs. Another UPS Store said the only explanation was that we had erred in our use of the app. So we walked into Shruti's UPS Store with little hope that we would be more successful. Ten minutes later our package was on overnight delivery with $25,000 of insurance. Expertise and diligence make a difference. This is the place to go. read more

The Owner Shruti is rude and not helpful at all. I had to move away due to the Pandemic and I was using this location as my Business Address. When I call to ask for mail she always says in a very arrogant voice. "I'm sorry I have people in front of me." My thoughts are "then hire more people". I am paying for the Mailbox and she treats me like I am a second class citizen. She and her staff are unprofessional. She doesn't seem to care. I've had varying degrees of service from this location, so I wasn't expecting much when I returned to attempt to retrieve a package that I had mailed this morning, through no fault of UPS. Lucky me -- Ted was my person this afternoon. At first he said that it most likely had already gone out, but the UPS driver was still there loading packages. Ted asked me to step aside for a moment because there was a long line. When he was free, he went to the truck and worked some magic with the driver (Yuki) and he returned soon with my package. I won't go into why it was so important to get the package back, but I have to say, Ted made my day! He is a great example to his co-workers of fantastic customer service and surprising and delighting a customer. Yuki was very kind too. read more

Ok i have to share this, UPS burlingame team is awesome with special shout out to TED!! i sent my passport out with them on Sunday and got to know on Monday morning i need to travel for a personal emergency. I panicked and ran straight to store, Ted was so understanding and went out of the way to track down the passport and help me. Big big thank you Ted and the whole team :) great customer service.
