I used to use this post office regularly, since I work in the area. The guy that works behind the counter, Mike is always smug and condescending. This shop is way behind, technology-wise and always appears very sloppy, unorganized, and badly in need of dusting. It's also very off-putting when politics are discussed with customers, as well. Many times when I've been in the shop, I have listened to Mike disparage immigrants, and and openly share his opinion on women's rights. Really gross. Just steer clear of this USPS. read more

When I want to send a package anywhere in the world, I come here because I know Mike will share all the options and I can make the best decision about speed, price, and optimal packaging. We also have our POBox with Mike and get notified every time a package arrives. I cannot imagine going anywhere else! read more

The main guy who works here can be very rude. He misread the address wrong but printed out the stamp assuming he typed everything correctly. When I noticed his mistakes on the printer label he said "Maybe you should write more legibly." Uhh, maybe you should confirm you read and typed everything correctly then verify it with the customer to see you got it right? In my experience, all other post offices do that... Coincidentally the customer before me stormed off because she asked what a cheap option would be to save her some money and he didn't tell her one until AFTER she paid for it. He could have saved her $25. She ended up paying $50. I recommend going to a different post office if you want to be confident your important packages are going to the correct address, and not leave frustrated with poor customer service. read more

This tiny little place is AMAZING. Yes, they sometimes get busy, but the team behind the counter is always nice, moving fast and totally on top of it. I and a friend have had a postal box here for years, and I use this place for all of my postal needs and shipping. This is so much better than a regular branch! Real community service. They know the regulars, and really help me with our mail deliveries, packages, stamps, and they even have some basic supplies. I don't go anywhere else for mail services, and I thought it was time to give them a great review. They deserve 5 stars! Greatly appreciated local gem. read more

This post office is lame! Alwaya busy, always a line, always 1 person working. No modern shipping technology. No scale, no packaging , no packaging slips. Just really a joke. You cannot even mail a package without the 1 person working to help you. So stupid I don't find it convenient at all. The few times I've tried to come here I always turn around and go to Delaware. No one ever answers the phone. There's not even an auto message, it's terrible. Don't waste your time. read more

This is the only office in our neighborhood thus I always use this office. Usually the service is fine. But today I went there to drop off a return shoe which needed to be shipped that day to return to be accepted. There was an Asian man behind the counter, not the usual guy I always see. There was only one person behind me, it wasn't crowded at all. I dropped the package on the counter and said "dropping off", he took it and put on the shelf behind him. he said "all set" me: "can you please scan the label" him: "I will" me: "can you please scan it now?" him: "I will scan it after you leave" me: "I want to know if everything is OK with the label, it's valid" him: "it's valid" me: "how do you know?" him: "by looking at it" me: "how do you know it's not reused?" him: "because it'd be torn if it was reused" me: "I mean what happens if I print two copies of the label and used the first one already on a different package?" him: "Then the system won't accept it when I scan. " me: "So how will you inform me if I already left?" He took the scanner, pressed two buttons on it and scanned. It took 5 seconds for him to do so. Scanner beeped him: "See it's valid as I told you" me: "This was all I wanted, it wasn't so hard huh?" him: [Snarkily] "No it wasn't so hard" I left. I checked the tracking number after 3 hrs, there was still no sign in the USPS tracking system that the package was origin-scanned. I'll re-check it tomorrow. read more

I stumbled across this gem when my fiance and I were looking for a place to mail the last of our wedding invitations. We were going to check out the one on 25th, but they were closed on Saturday. We didn't want to go to the one downtown because I always remember the line being long and can't remember if they have a parking lot. And then we decided not to go to the one on Delaware since my boyfriend spent over 40 minutes there on another visit trying to buy stamps for the invitations. And then we discovered this cute post office located in the Crystal Springs Shopping Center, located right next to the pizza place. There was no line and the staff (1 person) was very friendly. We were able to get our invitations out without any hassle! They are also open on Saturdays until 1pm, which is later than the other post offices open on Saturdays in the area. Woo hoo! I think this will be my new go-to post office when I need to get something out. read more

Dropped off a priority mail package and same story as other yelper, I asked for a receipt and rude counter guy says we don't give receipts so now I checked tracking and it never got scanned...do yourself a favor and go to the Delaware post office, at least they're friendly and you have proof of scanning read more

They never answer the phone. I have called the 800 number and she gave me 3 other numbers all have been disconnected.

Very convenient for me when I need to pick up kids from school in San Mateo. There is plenty of parking even if you need to walk the short distance from the other shopping area lot. The staff are helpful and very nice!! read more

The service rep was very rude and condescending. I don't send certified mail ever and don't know what forms to use. He was very rude and talked down to me. Also I asked for a piece of paper (a piece of paper off of the receipt paper roll). He said go ahead and didn't tear off a piece for me as it was bothering him or an imposition on him. I would not go back there because of the poor customer service. read more
