I love this post office. The employees here are very kind and helpful. I pick up my packages here and they have always taken good care of me. If my packages are too heavy, they will help me to the car with them. If I'm missing something, they will help me to find it. I'm always treated with kindness and courtesy and helped to the best of their ability. I really don't see how anyone could find fault with this place. Fool me once, I'm going somewhere else. Life is too short to accommodate incompetence with my hard earned money. I used to ship through UPS until someone told me the post office was in trouble. I decided to switch carriers two months ago to USPS. This post office always has a long line when I go. Time is money. There is only one competent agent - the Asian gentleman with a moustache and glasses. He is both efficient and helpful. In two months of my bi-weekly visits to ship things, he is the only one who gives me receipts with stickers that have tracking numbers. He is also the only one who tells me when I can use a smaller box to pay less shipping. The straw that broke the camel's back? LINH - the unprofessional, unhelpful agent. I shipped packages on Saturday. I paid extra for 3 of them to ship 2 day delivery to get there before Halloween (they are time sensitive items) After leaving the post office my purse was stolen. With that, my wallet that had the tracking numbers for my packages. I realized this was a problem when my intended package recipients were emailing me they did not receive their packages. I went to the post office to ask for a duplicate receipt. TWICE. LINH REFUSED citing how difficult it is to do that. She said she'd have to do it during closed hours. She then begrudgingly gives me a phone number to her manager after telling me there is no manager on site there. The phone number was fake. Target can find a receipt for a purchase I made two years ago if I give them the credit card I paid with - yet the post office, who I am trusting to ship packages have a computer system that is so antiquated, they cannot reprint a receipt? Nordstrom can also find any purchase receipt. Literally within seconds, they can facilitate a refund or exchange after a quick lookup. Sephora has my entire purchase history available to me online. I know I paid $55 for Dr Perricone pore tightening toner in 2010. I know this because when I recently repurchased - it lead me to that previous purchase to verify the re-purchase. At my work? I can reprint ANY invoice, lab result, or visit detail from any patient chart from the first day you visited the office in about 5 seconds. Seriously. 5 seconds. To add insult to injury, USPS charges an additional $1.05 for tracking on top of the shipping fees while UPS does this for free. UPS also sends you text and e-mails of your tracking. Finally, UPS sends you text and emails when your package arrives at its destination. The post office clearly is not a viable solution for competent people let alone a small business. I refuse to pay hard earned money for incompetence, antiquated systems, and smug, unhelpful agents. I'm going back to UPS. I need competent, modern, professional people and carriers handling my weekly shipping needs. I have complete confidence if I ever lose a UPS receipt with tracking information on it - they will be more than happy to reprint a new one. I continue to feel enraged that I paid USPS to ship packages for me including the additional $1.05 tracking fee to help my package recipients gage when things will arrive and I was denied that information twice. I was denied tracking information I paid for. Wow. Stunningly stupid. So the post office is in danger of being shut down. That's too bad. It's even more unfortunate that as a tax paying homeowner, I am actively part of what keeps the post office alive. It isn't a private mom and pop business - its a Government office. Linh's systematic lack of professionalism is ridiculous when you really think about it. I am the reason she has a job. Literally. I tried to give USPS my weekly shipping business - but Linh singlehandedly made me doubt putting trust in USPS. Its a terrible way to feel when you are shipping important things. This unnecessary nightmare experience is worth one star. Enjoy it - Linh did everything possible to deserve it. The post office should just stick to what they know. This office is close to my house. So I can't complain. Always empty/few people in line compared to our main office North of here. Helpful/knowledgeable staff, courteous service, and I'm right out the door until I have to mail another eBay item to someone or other documents. Full service post office except that there is NO passport service. That's at the Manor PO station as well. Just shoot up the highway to get it done. read more

More of a USPS outpost than a full-service post office. It's conveniently close to home. However this location is prone to long lines and has relatively limited hours--it closes at 5pm sharp. They REALLY need to get a self-serve postage label printing machine, like in other post offices. Right now, everyone has to wait in the same big line whether we need to mail something, pick up a package, or buy stamps, and that's one of the reasons it takes forever. read more

Service with a great view! Came here to drop off some packages and the lady behind the counter was so helpful and answered all my questions. They are fully stocked on boxes and forms and the place is also pretty clean. I'm sure it gets busy here every now and then but the service today at least was fairly fast. read more

I love having a post office box cause somehow it makes me feel a tiny bit more protected than having to give out my actual physical address to anyone or entity. With a name as unique as mine, you would think that you can tell the difference between mine and a more common name like Bob or Mary but apparently not at this location. Why for the past two years do I receive mail for some guy who I don't know? And after informing the post office of this fact, why do I continue to get mail for him. And more recently, also for some woman I don't know. Now, I love how they have the same employees there so you feel comfortable when walking up to the counter. But they could be a little more sociable. The neighborhood is not that big they could be a little more pleasant. Smile a bit, it's not that bad!! LOL I should be moving my box again soon to a more competent office...I hope! =/ read more

If you enjoy long lines with an approximate wait of 5+ minutes about 80% of the time that you go, than congrats. I found you a post office. Today's wait? 5-7 minutes. How many people working up front? One. The loneliest number. I do, however, prefer their prices over UPS and FedEx. I've went to UPS to send packages before where they have told me it'd be around $20.00. So I make my way up the hill to the post office to compare prices. As a green card holder, I am always amazed at how sad, neglected, and dilapidated American post offices are. But I always appreciate the service you get, especially at the Roberts Road, Pacifica branch. It is always understaffed, but the employers are always friendly and patient. The white man with gray hair was very rude and not helpful! I waited in a long line to mail some packages and because I didn't have the addresses to and from placed exactly where he wanted he said don't expect it to get where you want looking like that and made some other rude remarks without any helpful suggestions or perhaps a sticker to rewrite it on and place on the package or allowing me to fix it right there with a sharpie. So now I am forced to go back home and repackage everything and find time to wait yet again! read more

The phone number does not work. Apparently they don't have a phone. That's what I was told when I called and called for over an hour and then went down there. I had a package that was to be delivered to a school, they delivered on Sunday when we were closed and I was told it would be delivered the next business day. It wasn't. After three days I went on the 800 number which is a HOT mess to try to get this straightened out. You cannot speak to a person, there isn't an option for that. So I requested a delivery the next day. It never came, nor the day after that. But I got an alert that a delivery attempt was made on a Saturday. GRRR!! The biggest problem is that no one knew where my package went. This location didn't have it, the Manor location didn't have it and everyone blamed it on Daly City (Sullivan location) that they had it. Went there and they were beyond rude and told me Pacifica had it. So here we are a week later and I don't have my package. read more

Stupid post office. Lost my package which was send by my sister. I tried calling them like 10 times, and never once pick up my calls. When i actually went to the post office because they didn't pick up my calls, the lady in the post office said i should have contacted them sooner. Wtf for real? Went over to the Manor PO and was completely frustrated with there incompetence (see my yelp on their poor performance) so I walked out. I went over to the Roberts road PO to mail my passport docs and had a completely different experience. The postal clerk was knowledgable about the process, cost, and timing.
