I did a lot of research on notaries and used several other people before finding my way to A+ Mailboxes. I wish I knew about them earlier! One of the other notaries we used worked full time at a bank so just trying to SCHEDULE with the guy was painful! With A+ Mailboxes, you can just walk in any time and there they are. No appointment needed. Over the course of a year, Superman and I have had to get passport photos, fingerprinting, photocopies, numerous documents notarized (off site as well), numerous items to UPS and FedEx... heck... I've even bought greeting cards at this store! The fact that it's a one-stop place and conveniently located downtown made things so much easier for us. We also appreciate that the owner helps us to figure out the best and most economical delivery service to use, depending on the circumstance. Sometimes it's rush, sometimes signatures are needed, sometimes it just needs to be tracked but not rushed, etc. He will even tell us if it's cheaper to mail from the post office. Who does that?! Most of all, the owners are genuinely nice and friendly people. Dylan is the kind of guy you want to have drinks with after work because he's just so chill and relaxed. I am happy (relieved!) to have A+ Mailboxes as a local resource, and I'm sure we'll be using their services for a long time to become. Highly recommended.

A great "one-stop" shop. Took my mom to have some documents printed, notarized, and faxed in less than 20 minutes. Friendly service.

The customer service here leaves a lot to be desired. I went by to drop off a box of books that i…read moresold online. I didn't have any packing tape at home and there was none out for customer usage that I could see. I already had my shipping label, so all I was missing was the tape. There was one person there, who i'm assuming was being assisted with photos, and two employees. I stood there, holding a heavy box for probably close to 10 minutes, and they never acknowledged me. Both employees looked at me and ignored me. Neither said anything about being right with me, or it would just be a minute or anything. They never said a word, just ignored me. And I stood there holding a heavy box the entire time. Then I noticed the sign about their "full service surcharge" which basically states that if one of their employees has to do something for you, you have to pay for it. Since I already had my shipping label, I was not about to pay for them to tape my box. So I scanned my label and dropped my box in their chute. Next thing I know, i'm about to get into my car, and one of the employees comes out and starts yelling at me because my box wasn't taped. His exact words were that it was all over the place. He told me that I had to wait for them. I responded that I did wait for 10 minutes, and they ignored me. He just kept yelling at me that next time I can't do that. So here's the thing. I am sorry that my box made a mess, but the thing is that I doubt that happened. The box was packed pretty tight, and it did not drop that far. So while a couple of books probably fell off the top, it wouldn't have gone all over the place. Basically, there should have been tape out for the self service they push so hard, like every other shipping store in the area. Otherwise, don't threaten to charge a fee for shipping a box and don't ignore your customers. I did not appreciate being yelled at and humiliated in public over their lack of customer service. Next time I sell books online, i'll go to the FedEx store in Millbrae.
