My wife and I decided to drop by after our date at the zoo. The staff is very welcoming and the ambiance is modern and classy. We order two dishes: the spicy seafood linguini and salsiccia pizza. Spicy seafood linguini (4/5): sauce is nice and the linguini had great texture. The seafood added nice flavor combined with an extra kick from the red pepper flakes. Good but not amazing for the price ($29). Salsiccia pizza (5/5): amazing, this is a must get. All the toppings and flavors mixed perfectly together. This was definitely our favorite and it was worth it ($19). The Parlor is a very cool looking, upscale restaurant on Camelback just west of 20th st. The atmosphere is upscale, comfortable and not loud like some restaurants. They're known for pizza but I was in the mood for the linguini and salad. Both were great..the spinach salad tasted great with the chunks of fresh avocado and cheeses. The linguini was a small but still very large with plump shrimp and squid swimming in broth. Service by bartender Jamie and Manager Levi was first class. I got a seat right away at the bar. I live not too far from here and always heard about it! The flavors on this menu are amazing and the quality of food is awesome. It's a bit tough for parking and location is a bit difficult to see unless you have gps or really paying attention. The sign helps :) service is always good you can go right up to the bar, self seat if there is any room or done in. It's gonna great feel inside. I have just found my new favorite restaurant. I had this place on my list for years. I finally got the chance to stop by and it did not disappoint. First off our waiter Alyssa was so kind and recommended everything we ordered. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend ordering the Spicy Florentine, it is their award winning pizza. It paired amazingly with their Az red blend wine. For the pasta I fell in love with the Pesto chitarra. It was light but still so flavorful. The restaurant itself is so modern and had dim lighting. Ever since I saw the awards this place got, I knew I had to give it a try. We got a couple pizzas and the basil pesto pasta. The pesto was so fragrant, fresh, and slightly herbaceous. The pizzas here are more akin to the margherita style of pizza with a more tender dough and wetter ingredients. While I am more of a fan of NY style, the pizza was fantastic and so tasty. I made a last minute reservation the same day through open table, as we wanted to eat immediately, so we showed up at our reservation time, at 5:15pm, and were greeted enthusiastically and seated immediately. We took a couple of minutes to order, deciding on the watermelon salad, and three small pizzas each. The salad was light and refreshing, while the pizzas were each cooked perfectly - probably the best of Phoenix's pizza offerings, and good enough to rival New York pizza. Our waiter was helpful and gave great suggestions. We got here just in time to order a drink and appetizers under the Happy Hour Menu(4-6pm). What a great deal on a decent selection! I was starving after a hike and this was the perfect place to go! We got the funghi and the autumnale pizza. The crust was super crispy and well cooked. If you like mushrooms, then this is really the pizza for you. There were so many mushrooms on it. The autumnale was unique and the squash added some nice sweetness to the salty pizza. The funghi is a close runner up - it's loaded with the most flavorful roasted mushrooms. I've also tried the margherita but it's not quite on par with the others (it's just a little plain by comparison). Really amazing salads as well, I usually go for the roasted beet and goat cheese. My preferred order from here is a salad to pair with a couple slices of pizza then have pizza leftover to take home. One time I also split a scoop of chocolate gelato with my dad and it was wonderful. read more

The ambience in this restaurant was top notch. The decor was dimly lit with perfect lighting. Absolutely no wait time even thought the restaurant looked really busy. We ordered butternut squash ravioli (the pictures on the Yelp looked tempting that I had to try) and autunnale pizza. The ravioli was delicious and light. The pizza tasted amazing, the fig jam and toasted almonds and arugula was a great combination that I would have never imagined to go well on a pizza. Even the most overlooked part of the pizza, the crust was delicious. The drink was refreshing and basil had a strong flavor, but that's how I like my drinks to be. I am not a crust girl, but I go to town on this crust. It's crisp on the outside but airy and fluffy on the inside. My husband ordered a side of ranch with his pizza ( muggle), but in this instance, I actually get it, the ranch is bomb AF! They make it in house so it's not your standard ranch.
