I am a huge Noble Eatery and Noble Bread fan. I was at a local restaurant that featured Noble Bread products a few weeks ago and it dawned on me that I needed to find a way to acquire their bread. Enter: Noble Eatery. I found Noble Eatery's Instagram and quickly learned that they offer a sandwich of the week. Every week, a different sandwich, in addition to their regular menu which includes other sandwiches, salads, pizza, and more that I'm forgetting. Of course, they also have a large selection of Noble Bread available for purchase (or admiration). Our favorite is the Wonderful White bread, but we've also loved their bagels and English muffins. I still remembered this place fondly when I visited Phoenix 5 years ago. Half a decade on, it's still everything I want in a bakery-sandwich shop. The store is located in a strip mall & could be missed if you're not looking for it on the east side of the road. Small place with about 10 tables inside & a few out front. I think you can park/ enter through the back as well. Upon entering, I was greeted quickly by someone, that was great. Love this place so much. I don't get to frequent it as often as I'd like because I am in the East Valley now. But, whenever I am in the Biltmore area, I make it a point to grab lunch and a loaf there. I love their semolina bread. And their lunches are great. I really started going there more often during Covid, they adapted really well to the take out game, and once a week I would grab their baked pasta. They are consistently good at what they do. Came for lunch with my work team. First time for all of us and all of us purchased some bread before even ordering! I got some of their English Muffins, which we love for making pizzas! I had the tuna sandwich which is way different than any I've ever had! It is made with potato, bean, parsley, a cabernet vinegar and olive oil dressing and topped with arugula. This isn't your typical tuna with a mayo base and I found it pretty good. I am not one for having my side salad on the same plate as my food but I got an extra plate and moved the salad to its own plate. And because I love chips on my sandwich for a crunch factor, I also got a bag of Miss Vickey's plain chips. Topped off my meal with ice tea and one of their oatmeal cherry chunk cookies, which is big and chunky and so delicious. Overall a great lunch and great service! read more

We walked in to the cool little café style restaurant and was immediately greeted nicely. The menu is on the wall and was very easy to read from. All of the food looks great! I got the Italian, my wife got the Pressed Beef Sandwich, and my son got the Tuna Sandwich. We all loved our meals and they were so nice and fresh! Bread is excellent as you might expect, food is super fresh, but unfortunately the flavor isn't there. I had the Turkey and Cheddar sandwich and added giardiniera. The cabbage added a nice contrast in texture but there wasn't much to the sandwich other than the saltiness of the turkey and the slightly sweet pickle. Without the giardiniera, I think I would have enjoyed the sandwich even less. I also chose to upgrade the side salad to the Caesar and the dressing leaned toward the underseasoned side. I will revisit and try something else out of the hope that I didn't get the right item, but I have to say I was a little disappointed despite the bread and quality of ingredients being great. read more

The bread is really good - but the sandwiches could use a bit more flavor. I got the Italian sandwich and I enjoyed the semolina hoagie and the giardiniera - both were delicious I just wish it had some sort of aoli or spread. My partner got the turkey sandwich - again, the bread was good but it needed something extra to make it worth the 14.00 price tag. I think they make good bread but the actual food is lacking a bit. My colleague who ordered the same thing and previously was a Chef agreed that he sandwich and presentation as underwhelming. Love their English muffins. I always buy them. Decided to try the food. I got a bowl with no tuna (I forget which one) and it had SO much dressing omg. I could not eat. I came here during lunch and wow! It was so delicious! I shared a couple of items off the menu with my coworkers. We ordered the caesar salad, italian hoagie and the wood roasted broccolini with burrata and raisins. The broccolini was my favorite. Before we left we decided to try some of their sweet treats. We shared the chocolate chip cookie, snickerdoodle and oatmeal cherry chunk. All were so wonderful. My favorite was the chocolate chip and snickerdoodle. The inside was cute and cozy. They need to have an area for costumers to pick up bread they have already paid for a day ahead online. I came in and asked employees for my to go order and was told to stand in a line of 8 people. The employee who I have seen before with a beard with no smile was very rude and made me feel like I was a child. I would not go back again. I wanted to leave my order on the counter. After I waited in line about 10minutes, he ask me my name and within seconds grabbed my online order placed it on the counter and said there you go. So rude. I am in the service industry and would never treat my costumers that way. I hope the owner pays attention to these reviews. I never write reviews, but after that treatment today, I had to say something. Hope they find a better take out system and maybe ask their employees to smile. The boyfriend took me here (30min away from us) on a little lunch date. We got the hummus plate with Chorizo, it was freaking fantastic, and huge! Then we shared an Italian sandwich, which they split for us! It was flavorful and pleasing to the palate, the salad that came with it, was okay at best. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. This company has caused me stress and anxiety since a very unfortunate incident with one of their truck drivers, employee and management. A trifecta of incompetence and lack of respect for other drivers and customers and literally blew me off like nothing happened. I live in Tucson and have never had this kind of unprofessional, frankly criminal interaction with a company from a driver to employee to management . Let me explain. In north Tucson for a while there was construction on sunrise like there always seems to be. There was an area where it went from two lanes to one lane just past Shaw. It was zippering. Everyone was in the single lane for about a quarter mile respecting each other until one of nobles bread truck came barreling down the right lane, driving twice the speed limit and cutting everyone off trying to get to the very front. I pulled out to make this truck wait like everyone else almost getting hit from the back. Remember this is supposed to be a professional driver with a CDL driving a ten ton truck and four times the size of my ford truck. This truck was so big I could not even see the driver from my passenger window. He did not like having to stop and wait. Cussing and yelling at me while making jesters including flipping me off. As I merged in he cut off another car almost hitting it to be right behind me. Coming up right to my bumper almost hitting me again. He was yelling and screaming. Using his truck as a weapon driving all over, switching lanes to keep up with me. He kept coming so close I was getting very nervous and frankly scared of his reaction. He was coming up behind me and beside me coming so close I had to swerve into an emergency area to not be hit. He continued to act like this yelling, screaming and laughing hysterically. At this point I thought he was on drugs. On point he got so close his truck touched my side mirror. Assault with a deadly weapon. At this point, I was terrified and not having any other options I grab a cup I had in my car with about a quarter cup of water in it and tried to throw the water out my window to deter this assault at this point. Just the water not the cup as I would never do something that would cause damage or an accident . I'm sure it did nothing. The water just blew back in the wind most of it hitting my own car and inside of it. (Amount of water was about a shot of water) As he got more irate he then proceeded to grab something out of his cab about the size of a brick and threw it at me trying to hit me through my window causing other cars behind me to swerve almost causing another accident . It didn't get me but it hit my car causing damage to my passenger side door. Three good sized dents. After it hit me it bounced back towards other cars causing them to swerve. This is an assault with attempt to cause bodily harm and possibly death if I got into a wreak. I immediately called 911 giving a description and license plate of the truck but we know how the response is on that. I managed to get away from him as he turn left on Campbell and I continued straight on sunrise . I told the dispatcher I wanted to complete a police report and she said the officer would contact me soon. I tried calling any number of this company but could only find the eatery at this point. When I ask to talk to the GM or the owner the person on the phone said "we are way too busy to deal with this" and literally hung up on me. I tried again and same response. When I got home I found the corporate number and left a message. A person named Jason called me back and I explained what took place. Sent him a picture of my damage and all that happened. He seemed very level headed and said he would call me back after he spoke to the driver and looked into this for me. It's been 4 months. No call back at all. I never followed through with the police report because I thought this would be handled respectfully after I spoke to this gentleman and I thought not to harm the business due to an idiot employee. I should have followed through and this is exactly why you should always involve the police even when you think it will be handled ethically. This company is more than unprofessional it apathetic and doesn't care at all how its employees act towards their customers. They have no morals or ethics at all. I writing this review which I truly didn't want to write but I still can't let this go due to having to look at my damaged car thinking about this incident almost daily. Do not support this company as I will never visit their eatery or buy their bread. The real joke is the name of their company "Noble Breads" lmao There is nothing noble about this company. read more

So, I LOVE Noble bread and frequently get it at the farmers market. I do not find myself at the eatery often, as it's not too close to me, but on this fine day the occasion arose and we ordered Noble takeout. Their online platform didn't allow much modifications and my friend was looking for something specific so I called in instead. The gentlemen on the phone was not the friendliest and made sure to note that I could have ordered online, which I do understand and is easier as I was getting food for 5, but also could have had a friendlier tone. I ordered the ham sandwich, friends got the turkey sandwiches, mixed green salad and Italian grinder. All sandwiches come with a side mixed green salad, very basic, just greens - but you can upgrade it to caesar salad. Lastly couple brownies and the hummus with nduja ( it's sort of like a chorizo sausage blend) and pickled veggies on top. It came with fresh house made pita bread. Most of the sandwiches come on their fired pita bread or hoagie. Considering they have so many delicious fresh loafs, but that's okay. Sandwich was quite tasty, fresh ingredients for sure. The brownie was also good, but a bit cakier than I prefer. The stand out for me was the hummus with nduja! I've never had anything like that combination, but it was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be ordering it again or would make a special trip for it! Order was done promptly in 20 minutes and packaged well with all the things we needed. I did noticed their menu changes, sometimes they have trio breads or maybe that was in the past or specials. In this house we definitely eat Noble bread. Artisanal bread is such a treat and if you can get your hands on a loaf you're in for a treat. At most phx farmers markets you can find their stand but you gotta go early! They sell out fast My personal favorite is their sourdough Now if you're planning on visiting know that parking is slightly limited but you can usually find a spot. People are in and out all day. Their hours are 10:30-3:00 PM & closed on weekends. So this will be exclusively a lunch spot but nevertheless a great lunch spot. I've tried nearly all their sandwiches (lol it's close to us!). I'm partial to their Italian but I also think you can't go wrong with your order. Little tip: order online and you'll save yourself the line & be able to enjoy it basically right away if you're on a time crunch during lunch! read more

I've always absolutely loved noble bread (we go out of our way on weekends to pick some up at the farmers market), so it only made sense to finally try their restaurant! I decided to order a sandwich and some chips to go for my first experience. I grabbed the turkey sandwich which comes on wood fired pide. I had no idea what pide was and I can only describe the flavor as the crust of a pizza with a little more texture but similar seasonings. It was absolutely delectable and the perfect way to serve this sandwich. The turkey is paired perfectly with cabbage, aioli, cheese, and pickled onions. Everything went so well together but the pickled onions really put this sandwich over the top. It's huge for $12 which made me feel better about spending that much on a sandwich. The chips are Vickie's brand. I would definitely try this sandwich again or one of the dishes but I think I would eat it fresh on site. read more

My coworker and I came for lunch around 11:45 am, the restaurant was busy and we got one of the last seats available. The caprese sandwich was too good to pass up - served with burrata and fresh tomatoes and greens. My friend got the turkey and avocado sandwich which she said was excellent! The caprese was delicious, I ate the whole thing! We both got a sea salt, chocolate chip cookie and they too were perfectly cooked and soft! We would highly recommend Noble Eatery - make sure you plan in advance as the dining room is small and doesn't have a ton of seating. I've been a regular customer for a few years, primarily picking up bread and baked goods at the eatery and local farmers markets, but sometimes eating in the cafe. Many of the offerings are fantastic but there are also a few misses so I'm going to go item by item here. Caprese Sandwich - Outstanding. I get roasted mushrooms added. They don't seem thrilled about providing this modification but I LOVE it. The bread on the sandwich is just delicious and I wish they sold just that for making toasted sandwiches at home. Turkey Cheddar Sandwich - The peppadew and aioli make this uniquely delcious. I couldn't eat the whole thing in one sitting for the life of me; even one half is beyond filling, so I usually don't order this unless I've got someone to split with, as half #2 doesn't save great. Imperial Sandwich loaf - At peak freshness it's a great sandwich bread or piece of toast. It gets weirdly gummy if heated in the oven buttered. Multigrain Sandwich loaf - Probably my go-to when all options are on hand. I like the oats on the outside and it's the most versatile for sandwich, grilled cheese, French toast, regular toast. Sourdough loaf (sliced) - A good sourdough. The pieces tend to be a bit large. I like it for grilled cheese, French toast, and heated in the oven with butter and dipped in soup. Wondrous White bread loaf - Bought it when it was the last loaf left. Nice and soft when fresh but super BLAND. Won't get again. Mini kona rolls - one of my favorites. I love them heated with butter or for mini sandwiches. Mini buttermilk rolls - a miss for me because the kona rolls are SO much better in texture and flavor. Plain bagels - one of the biggest misses. Too big in size for how bland and blah they are. You'd need a huge slather of cream cheese to try to make these enjoyable. Baguette - ok to good eaten day of purchase. I have crazy high baguette standards (be as good as the French or bust). Obviously superior to grocery store options. Chocolate chip sea salt cookie - A good cookie so I usually grab one. Not Phoenix's top but well worth the sugar. **Now, you have to go to the farmers market for these INDIVIDUAL pastries, but some hidden gems here (never seen in the store):** Cinnamon coffee cake - YUM so good, perfect for a coffee cake lover who doesn't want to eat a whole cake over days. Blueberry muffin - another win. It's such a good blueberry muffin and just the right size. Bonus points because I ate one before running a half marathon having never tried before (a big race no-no in the running world) and had zero stomach issues. read more
