Got right in. Service was quick and attentive. Salad and pizza were delicious and flavorful. Just the right amount of volume, not too loud, not too quiet. A place Yuppies would have loved back in the 90's!!! We will be back! read more

Been here before and loved it. Tonight, not so much. Wait staff was great, however, I was there with my family celebrating a bday. I asked for candles which never came. Not a big deal. The salad was good, the cauliflower delish, the 3 pizzas were soggy without much flavor. Tiramisu and banana dessert were good. Oh, we did get a $5 bday coupon, which was a nice touch. All in all, for a pizza restaurant, Parlor disappointed me tonight. I'll probably try again for HH. read more

Friday, June 28th, I experienced one of the most incredible meals I've ever had at The Parlor. It was my first time at the Parlor and is my favorite number 1+++ restaurant in the valley. Our wait person Katie recommended the cauliflowers Gratinata appetizer which was sooo delicious. I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese and my friend ordered the Lemon Ricotta Ravioli. They were both so fantastic. Our wait person was Katie and in a score of 1 to 5 she was a 10. I can't wait to go back. The Parlor is now my #1 recommendation to everyone I know. If you've never been there, please treat yourself to a most delicious, incredible meal!!!! My photo isn't the best but you can just imagine how fantastic it was read more

The Parlor - Pizza Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

We have been coming to The Parlor for seven years and it has always been pleasant. Last night was no different except for all the social distancing measures. They are pretty strict about masks and distancing. If that is important to you, The Parlor is a great choice during the Covid-19 era. Parking is also much easier with the lower capacities. Our friendly bartender made great cocktails for us. If you like bitters, they have one of the best selections I have ever seen. We shared the caprese for a starter and it set a high bar for the rest of the evening. The tomatoes were high quality and the burrata was creamy goodness. They added pistachios on top that added a great textural surprise. We had a salsiccia pizza after the salad. It was good but a bit darker than I prefer - see pic below. The fresh sage was a bit overwhelming as well. We finished the evening with a chocolate cake (to go) which we enjoyed later at home. All in all The Parlor is much more than a Neapolitan pizzeria. It is a great place for hand crafted cocktails and some very fresh Italian fare. read more

My boyfriend and I went here the other week and had a wonderful time. It was busy, we're sat at the kitchen/pizza bar and got to watch the kitchen hustle and bustle throughout dinner service. The Cauliflower app is a must. Onelio in the kitchen had us try the gemelli porchetta pasta (pork, pesto, Calabrian chili and parm) WOW! What a incredible dish. Melts in your mouth, savory but not overwhelming. Bravo team! You can tell that the crew there is passionate about their work. Loved it and will be back! read more

Based on previous reviews, we had high hopes. How disappointed we turned out to be. Pizza on a soggy cracker = Sadness. And they gave us a hard time for asking to customize one of their menu-based pizzas, before then relenting & agreeing to do it "just this once." Well, they were correct, it will be just the once b/c we won't be back. If you like thin-as-paper crust that hasn't been cooked enough to support the sauce & toppings it's meant to hold, and a judgy finger-wagging for ordering YOUR food the way YOU want to eat it, this could be the place for you. Maybe it was an off night, but there are too many other pizza options for us to repeat this experience any time soon. Sorry, Parlor. read more

To be honest, from the street view this restaurant looks pretty average and we were shocked to find out there was an hour wait to get seated on a Wednesday night. (We did not look up the menu, we just wanted to try something new) We were very intrigued and decided to hit happy hour today (friday.) there was only a 15 minute wait right at 5 pm, but I swear a ton of people showed up to reserve a spot right after I put my name on the list. It was such a different environment than I was expecting! Definitely a great date night spot, and super cute. It was extremely busy, as we expected. It did take a bit for our server to come over to us, so we ordered drinks and food at the same time. Our server was extremely sweet and even apologized for the wait/backup throughout the night. I chose the Cabernet blend, which was good but I don't think it was worth the $13-$14 per glass. (It was $2 off on happy hour) and then my date chose the old fashioned since they were out of Church Music IPA. The old fashioned was great according to him! And great price on happy hour! The happy hour drink menu was pretty limited in terms of cocktails. I wanted the Collins, however it was "spiced" for the holidays so more of a cinnamon-y drink, according to our server. We started with a Caesar, it was big enough to share but we did not finish it, the dressing was a bit too fishy for our liking. I also thought it was funny that it came with literally 2 croutons (not bad, just an observation.) We ordered two small pizzas and shared (pretty good for $10 each!!) We chose the pepperoni and the spicy bbq chicken. The pepperoni pizza STOLE the show. One of the best pepperoni pizzas ever. We fought over the last piece! The crust is nice and sturdy, and the pizza had so much flavor with the sauce and the basil on top. 10/10. The spicy bbq chicken was pretty good, but the pepperoni was better. The BBQ chicken was pleasantly spicy and had a good amount of chicken. I will say there was a TON of cheese- almost overwhelming the other flavors. I feel like I barely tasted the BBQ. I would probably not wait an hour on a random weeknight to come into the Parlor, but was pleased with our decision to hit a Friday night happy hour with just a 15 min wait. We'll be back and hopefully there are more options on the drinks/appetizer happy hour menu! I would have killed for some bruschetta! read more

Atmosphere here is great! The space is a lot bigger than I expected. For gluten free, the options were decent! Unfortunately, no gluten free pizza/pizza dough. There was a salad or two as well as all of the pasta that is house made gluten free upon request. There's also a gluten free dessert! Overall, pretty satisfied and could see myself coming here again. read more

Food was straight fire. This restaurant can hang with the best of em. Pizza was NY level. Gluten free pasta was actually amazing. Steak salad was perfect! Focaccia was so fresh. I do not like tiramisu but this one was exquisite. read more

My wife and I wanted to try something different than the usual. I've heard The Parlor had great Pizza. I wasn't sure what to expect on arrival, but this isn't a "Pizza Shop" it's a fine dining experience that specializes in Pizzas. The atmosphere is on point. Lots of activity yet still private. The pizza crust was excellent, not filling. My wife got the Chicken Milanese. It was kind of like a salad, but the chicken was a whole breast, not chopped up. Excellent dining, good draft beer choices, plenty of shareables. read more

Great place for pizza and pasta! Definitely recommend coming here during happy hour, which I believe is from 3-6PM. We got the Caesar salad, Pappardelle bolognese, and two types of pizzas. Caesar salad - great if it's on the happy hour menu, but not necessarily a must-have. Bolognese - ABSOLUTELY a must-have in the menu. Delicious sauce and perfectly al dente pasta. Pizzas - They are the reason I rated the restaurant 4 stars instead of 5. I guess I expected more of Neapolitan-type pizzas, with a more crispy and crunchy crust. Nonetheless, they tasted delicious, and were valued well at $10 for small pizzas during happy hour. read more

I went here on a whim with my son because we were in the neighborhood and there was a picture on yelp of a delicious-looking pasta dish. I have no idea how we were able to obtain a parking spot right upfront, because the place was full. A 20 to 25 minute wait for the two of us would not have been too bad, but the very kind host suggested we take a couple of open seats at the bar. My son was in seventh heaven! My son ordered a root beer, and the bartender poured it into a chilled glass, which made my son feel very important. He also had a cheese pizza that looked delicious. Apparently it was, because he ate half at the restaurant and the remainder the following night. I ordered the dish that I saw on Yelp - pappardelle bolognese. Honestly, I was disappointed in the first bite. The noodles were very bland. But my mind was instantly changed when I scooped up some of the sauce with my second bite. It was perfect - exactly what I was looking for! Dining out with kids is always tough, because they are ready to go the minute they finish eating. The bartender noticed, but was unable to get to us right away. So he sent a colleague to bring us the check. Great food and great service - I don't know if it's always like this, but it definitely earned 5 stars from my experience. read more

Got take-out from here while in town- a mushroom pizza and a kale and sweet potato salad with a chili vinaigrette. Both were decent. The pizza could have used more cheese and the salad more sweet potato, but the salad dressing was perfect. It looked like a pleasant place to eat with a covered porch with heat lamps as well as an attractive dining area. read more

Located right on Camelback and 19th street, parking in the back. Cute place with trendy rustic appeal very clean and shiny. Food; On this trip which I love to do, asked the Server what his favorite pizza was and went with the "spicy florentine" pizza and it was so good. I would recommend if you like a little spice in your life. Ordered a couple glasses of the sviary and it was perfect. Service; beyond friendly and was so sweet! read more

The parlor is always awesome! Great pizza combinations, seasonal changes, awesome happy hour, and friendly staff. The former beauty parlor turned into pizzeria looks great and has a great central location. Entering through the fruit trees and garden area is the perfect setup for the amazing fresh food coming to the table. From the use of local Schriener's fine sausage on the pizza, the seasonal ingredients, the homemade ranch, or the craft cocktails The Parlor is a Phoenix gem. & The patio is beautiful and perfect for small events. read more

Pizza was tasteless and cold. One of our friends asked for 1/2 and other 1/2 of toppings..would not oblige. Another asked for extra dressing..$1.00 for a tablespoon of dressing. They would not allow for separate checks. It is a nice restaurant... but won't return. read more

We love going to the Parlor! Our faves are the pizza (of course), focaccia bread and bolognese pasta.

IMO this is one of the best pizza's in Phoenix. The dough is buttery, melts in your mouth, cooked with a slight char to give it that wood fired pizza crust. The toppings are A+. The pepperoni is large and you can taste the quality, the tomatoes are yellow and red but cut just right so you get that tomato flavor since the Margherita pizza is w/o sauce. The whole milk mozzarella is fabulous. I'm glad we shared the two pizzas as I could really taste the cheese on the Margherita. The Farm salad was also excellent. Dressing was lightly coated so as not to overpower the dish. Loved the large candied pecans. Happy Hour prices are daily 3-6. This was my 3rd visit this year and won't be my last. Place was 2/3rds full at 4pm. Great decor with open patio and windows from around the bar. Very casual and comfortable feel. read more

The food at the Parlor was delicious!! We dined here on the first night of a bachelorette party weekend and were so happy with the food, service, and ambiance. Favorite dishes: Sweet potato and kale salad, roasted beet salad, spicy florentine pizza, sweet potato gnocchi, banana trifle (soooooooo good!!!) Not so favorite dishes: cavatelli porchetta (the pork in this dish was served in large chunks and was really difficult to eat with the pasta), cauliflower gratina, perfect chocolate cake (nobody liked the cherries) All in all, this is a great restaurant and we had a wonderful time! I would definitely recommend it and would love to visit again when I'm back in Phoenix :) read more

We're prolific diners, with literally hundreds of Michelin stars under our belts and have had an opportunity to dine at most of the Valley's notable restaurants. There are four restaurants that I consider the best in the Valley, Parlor, Renata's Hearth, Glai Baan and Binkley's. They all offer different experiences but are all equally amazing. Most of these are clearly not in the category of Michelin restaurants, but anyone who has done some fine dining knows that the best places don't have white tablecloths and sport stuffy maitre d's. Fine dining is an experience; Parlor is where you go to explode your head as you bite into their summer corn pizza. What sets Parlor apart is that it has the best wood-fired pizza in the entire Valley. I feel terrible for people who fly in from all over the world to check out Bianco's amazing fare, but leave without experiencing the magic of Parlor. There's nothing that compares. As a first generation Sicilian who wood-fires his own pizza and frequently makes his own bolognese, Ragu and pasta, I cannot do what Parlor does. I can do what most other restaurants can do, but not Parlor. Go there and explode your head. read more

I loved the food, the vibe and the service! I forgot to mention it was a birthday to perhaps get a free dessert.

Met friends and will definitely be back. Researched spot, read reviews and looked over menu-ordered within minutes of happy hour being over. Cauliflower-just okay (literally cheese n cauliflower), calamari n shrimp-small size and another okay, pepperoni pizza-love the large pepperoni and fungi (mushroom pizza) best ever. Guys ordered burgers again good but not anything too special. Reviews on pizza were spot on, can't believe I ate the entire small minus one piece. The water served was refreshing and cold-drank at least 5 glasses that night. Pizza=5 stars French fries-5 stars Atmosphere/bar area-5 stars Will return for sure. read more

THIS PLACE IS THEE BEST. I have gone here countless times and have tried most of what's on the menu, and let me tell you, you have to go right now! For starters, their pizza is soo good. They have some unique seasonal pizzas that are fantastic and their classic like BBQ chicken is out of this world! The spicy Florentine is also one of my favorites. They have a beautiful thin crust that has such a good texture, the sauce is so flavorful, and they have such good variety. Also, the ranch is an absolute must!!! It is house made (they don't charge for it!) and absolutely to die for. Whenever we get pizza's to-go I always get a few extras to have in the fridge. The garden salad is actually one of my favorite salads I've ever had. It is so fresh, flavorful and healthy. They also have a good happy hour if you are able to make it by 6! 10/10 you must go! read more

Food: This may have been the best pepperoni pizza I've had, and I don't even like pepperoni! The spicy sausage was also delicious.
