    Roma pizza
    Kendall N.

Tried this place for the first time today for lunch. We shared the beet salad and the Roma pizza. The salad was great! Although I am not a big fan of arugula it was still excellent with the beets, avocado and goat cheese. The pizza was also excellent. The burrata was very good and the crispy prosciutto was perfect. Our server was great. She got delayed a bit to take our order so she gave us a $10 off coupon for the next time we come in. The restaurant has lots of parking in the back and it has quite a few tables. They also have seating outside which I'm sure is great in the winter.

This was our third trip here and I truly appreciate the consistency of their customer service. Today, we came in to grab lunch after church. We truly enjoyed our food. We normally get pizza and salad but today we tried new item. I had the grinder and was surprised to find it had fresh pickled veggies on it. The only thing I would change is warm bread and that's just my preference for the sandwich so I hope it's an option. My husband had the parlor burger and it looked amazing... he said it was great. Both came with delicious Parmesan fries. This is definitely a place we can become regulars at if we lived closer. I hope they open a spot in the north end of town near the 101 or the 303! Thank you for great food, fresh ingredients, and service excellence!

Phenomenal is the word I used multiple times to my server. Alyssa was superb great customer service. The atmosphere and music relaxing. I sat on the patio which was very comfortable. I went during happy hour and one of the drinks I had suggested by Alyssa called the Collin's was phenomenal. I saw the lemon ravioli and if you have any thing lemon I'm in. That dish yes Phenomenal 10 flipping stars. Calamari shrimp appetizer yes Phenomenal. The salad and dressing phenomenal. Ok I can't say anything bad and I believe they grow some of their herbs and source from local farmers. Ok Fluffy Grandma recommends. It is very chill vibe especially that flipping patio.

This place is awesome!! Highly recommend, everything here was great!! I came on a Tuesday with friends and it was pretty busy. I'm not sure if they take reservations. Since I met my friends there, they already had seats so I'm not sure how long they waited. There is a parking lot! The ambiance is moody and dark, a fire place and bar area too. I decided to try the Cab blend wine and also ordered the Autunalle pizza. It was AMAZING, I LOVED the sweet potatoe ricotta and fig. The entire pizza was just superb. The wine was great too! Definitely recommend this spot!

I absolutely love The Parlor! I go any chance I get for lunch or dinner and always bring friends. The pizza is sooo good, and the pasta never disappoints. Great chicken Caesar salad, solid wine selection, and a delicious espresso martini. They're also vegan-friendly and mindful of allergies. My friend has a nut allergy and they're always accommodating. The vibe is perfect. Moody lighting with lots of natural sun during the day. They have a full bar you can sit at, plus indoor and outdoor seating. Everything is super clean, including the bathrooms. Which I always appreciate. It can get busy and there's sometimes a wait, but it's worth it. Perfect for a casual lunch or date night. Only downside? They're closed on Mondays. Also I've never tried their desserts, they've just never called out to me. I will report back.

We came here on Sunday afternoon. There was a parking lot behind the restaurant. There was a little line and wait. They had a waiting area outside. We waited about 10 minutes. Fun fact: the outside garden is fresh produce they use in their dishes. We were seated and got our food. We shared a large margarita pizza. We also shared a burrata tomato appetizer. The food was so good. I loved the pizza and thin crust.

Was not expecting the margarita pizza to look like this but it was still yummy. The parlor burger was juicy and filling. Our server was so nice and friendly. I love the dark vibe this place has. Lots of seating inside and at the patio.

My husband and I have a knack for wandering into random pizza places without a reservation, grabbing 2 seats at the bar, and proceeding to have the best pizza of our lives (ok, I lied. This has only happened one other time...in Lancaster, PA). The Parlor exceeded expectations on many fronts. We came here after a fine day in Sedona last weekend and started with the Sloe & Steady and ...at this point I forget what hubs had, but both were unique and very good. The bar had 4-5 very rambunctious humans which was fine, but altered the vibe a little. Our bartender was awesome, friendly, prompt and helpful. I got the autunalle pizza and it was hands down one of the top 5 pizzas I've ever eaten. The flavors (the sweet potato ricotta was mind-blowing), the cook-to-perfection...I didn't want it to end! Hubs had the margherita and added pepperoni which was also fantastic. He got the slice of chocolate cake and honestly that was a pretty big disappointment. But, the homemade cream/icing was pretty ok. Should have opted for the tiramisu. Highly recommend a visit to the Parlor (but grab a reservation!)

The service by itself warranted a great score from me. Very pleasant staff. Had a side Caesar salad and added anchovies (do it!) and the Calabrian. Salad was near perfect. Pie was tasty yet soggy on the bottom for a freshly served pie. Extra points for service. Go early at opening as the room fills up fast.

Second time coming back so that tells you it's worth checking out pizzas are delicious they surprisingly have a great burger as well can't go wrong with a classic Cesar salad everything was a 10 out of ten

Would give 6 stars if I could! Start to finish, great service, great food, great vibes. Zero complaints, everything was standout. Pizza and pasta were delicious, the garden crudite board was next level with most things thoughtfully roasted and two delicious dips, could have been a full on meal in and of itself. Only regret is not ordering more pizza to go and have for later. See photos! Love the concrete block motif carried throughout, from the original facade through to block pattern stamps on the walls and receipt clipboards.

Our dinner at the Parlor was fantastic. The weather allowed us to sit in the patio and enjoy our meal. Our server was wonderful and attentive, all staff seemed very friendly. We tried the golden beet salad and loved it. It was light and full of flavor. The roasted cauliflower was yummy, enjoyed with the crispy buttery bread it came it. I would add the Calabrian chili next time. We tried the funghi and the spicy Florentine pizzas. Both were cooked to perfection with crispy crust. I am obsessed with the spicy Florentine!! It has such a great amount of flavor and I really liked the bread crumbs on it. Overall a wonderful spot for a dinner date! They do have happy hour which offers $2 off apps and pizzas (and other things I can't remember). Definitely will be back soon!!

Stopped in for dinner/happy hour before a movie on a Friday night. The place was packed but thankfully we were able to get a table inside for 2 no problem! Our server was incredibly friendly and prompt. We each got a few beers/glasses of wine off the happy hour menu. I enjoyed the Tempranillo they have on the menu. The appetizers we got were great. You have to get the noble bread to get with the burrata! The calamari was not too fried which I appreciated. I loved the pizza and the pasta we got as well. I think this is a great option in the area and wish we had tried it sooner! We will definitely be coming back.

Do they still have the special deal on Tuesdays where you get a bottle and a bowl for $35 or a Pitcher and a Pie for $25?

I'm ordering for delivery. Which pastas are gluten free?

Any pasta (except for the ravioli) can be made with the GF handmade noodle. If you are having any trouble finding the GF modification on your ordering platform, you can call the restaurant for assistance..…

Are there many gluten free menu options?

Hi Elizabeth! We make a REALLY GOOD handmade gluten free pasta. Also.. lots of salads and appetizer…

Did they nix the Yukon Gold pizza? If so, why? I don't see it on their website menu.

It was a special pizza, they change it up every few weeks.

What kind of oil is used in the fryer?

Hi! We use a good quality canola oil for our fryers. Best!…

Is this place ok for small children?

Yes. It's a pretty busy and loud restaurant, so it's okay to bring small children. They also have high chairs available and hand out small wax sticks activity kit to preoccupy the kiddos. We've brought our children many times.

    Is there gluten free?

    Yes pasta, no pizzas.

I won't add to my previous review regarding the food, as it is still just as fantastic. And while the old location had its charm (mainly that it was more intimate and a bit quieter), the new location is overall an immense improvement. First of all, it is much larger, modern, and very tastefully decorated without losing as much of the intimacy as they could keep. For instance, the decor on the walls makes you feel like you are somewhat at home, with photos of the Spinato family and other tasteful finishes. Everything is comfortable without being too casual or formal. It's definitely more open concept now, and bar-lovers will appreciate the full bar, as the old location only had a tiny one. The covered patio area is much nicer, and with an eastern exposure, it should bake in the sun less than the old place's western exposure for most of their operating hours. We were seated at a half-booth, and the restaurant was very crowded because it was their first Friday night at this location. Nonetheless, we arrived early enough to be seated without a wait. I will say that the food took a very long time to arrive--40 minutes or more--but I'm chalking that up to the crowd and growing pains at the new location. Our server recognized us, welcomed us to the new place, and was as friendly as usual, though he didn't have much time for chat-chat with how busy they were. Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.
