"HOLY BEEP!" That was f*cking delicious!!!!!! As a Yelp Elite member always on the hunt for great eats, I was excited to check out The Melt, the new burger spot in Tempe. Wow, it did not disappoint--this place is legit delicious! I went with the Swiss & Shroom MeltBurger (mushroom burger) and customized it by swapping the Swiss for pepper jack cheese, adding ranch, and drizzling on that spicy buffalo sauce. Holy cow, it was a home run! The burger literally melted in my mouth, super juicy and packed with flavor--one of the juiciest burgers I've ever had. The angus-wagyu blend shines through, and the toppings took it to another level. The ordering process was super simple and modern--I loved the big touchscreen kiosks that made customizing easy and quick. No hassle at all. They have some unique soda flavors I've never tried before, which was a fun surprise and paired perfectly with the meal. Bonus points: the bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained, which always matters to me. This jumps straight to my #2 burger spot overall (Shake Shack is still king in my book, but The Melt is giving it a serious run for its money with that melty, juicy goodness). I'll definitely be back soon--highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Tempe. You won't regret it! 5 stars all the way.

I got the swiss n shroom burger and it was amazing! I dipped it in their ranch and it was even better! The service was great and the man working there was so sweet and gave us free cookies. There's lots of seating outside, perfect for big groups. Definitely coming back PS. they validate parking!

Food was hot and fresh! Melted cheese on all the things. Burger was a good size. I mistakenly got the double expecting something much smaller. WRONG! That burger was huge! The Mac and cheese was good. My favorite was the cane sugar soda. So good!

the place is spacious and there's kiosk to order from, the employees were so kind, we went after midnight and it took about 10 mins to get our food but it was fresh and everything tasted great with high quality ingredients, i love how there's 3 impossible burger options to choose from for my boyfriend who doesn't eat meat, the cheese fries and mac and cheese were so yummy, needless to say ill for sure be coming back soon, this location closes at 2 am which is a huge plus for me since im a night owl

The three cheese classic melt is made with sharp cheddar, muenster & fontina. The sandwich bread is French bread. It is cheesy and full of flavor. It helps me feel satisfied and full. The melt burger has cheddar, jalapeño--pickle mix, and Melt sauce. I didn't think I could taste much of the Melt sauce to make it different from other hamburgers. I could taste more of the jalapeño and pickle mix. The staff was very friendly. Did a take out order over the phone. The restaurant is located on the corner of an intersection so it makes it easy to find. They have large glass windows so you can easily see inside. The Wall is basically two large panes of glass. This makes the restaurant seem more open and a larger space.

Cheddar Bacon Ranch Fries smothered in cheddar sauce, with crispy bacon and ranch sauce, is a solid choice, all condiments work well together. The warm Chocolate Chip Cookies are a winner The signage is a little confusing outside, there is a vertical sign on the corner, but the store front sign says " World's Meltiest Burger" This is a solid place for a burger

I've been to the Melt in Scottsdale and it was pretty good so I tried the one in Tempe. This is one of those places you order on a screen, then you take a pager and go grab your food from the counter when your pager goes off, and then clear your own table by taking everything tot the garbage when you're done. I never had to talk to a single person, but the machine still asks for a tip on the meal. This time I went with a spicy mission grilled chicken sandwich, but I should have stuck with the burgers. My chicken was tough and chewy and really salty. The fries were still pretty good though.

Fast casual restaurant in Tempe near the ASU stadiums where you order at a kiosk and they call your number when your food is ready. The burgers at The Melt are great. The original chicken sandwich I got this time was over salted and was very dry and rubbery. Next time I'll just get a burger. But The Melt is in a great up and coming area and will do well.

I was starving after work, and really wanted to try this place, as it's a few stores down from a great ice cream place. I think the ordering concept here is freaking amazing!! Used the kiosk, there's a tv showing how many orders are before yours and showing whose orders are ready. Minimal face time with people, especially if you've just about had it for the day lol. The strawberry lemonade I got was quite good, and the fries were alright. I guess I forgot to take a picture of my burger, but I got the one with bacon and bbq in it, and it was freaking awesome!! The bbq was really good. I actually wish they had that for sell. It wasn't too acidic, and was a perfect addition to the burger. Very clean and respectable place. Definitely recommend this location!

Great burgers, I got the mushroom swiss burger and it was really good, a little greasy but overall lots of flavor very juicy. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich which was pretty good, it wasn't anything crazy though. We also got this snickerdoodle shake which was really really good actually. Inside is nice, we came few days after opening and it was pretty quiet (we also went on a sunday at like 4pm). You order off a tablet and they bring out your food for you. Very casual but fun place for a nicer burger than fast food. A little over priced in my opinion, but nonetheless the food was good

Decided to try this new (to Arizona) place on a whim. So glad we did! There were several locations in California, and the reviews are great. And who doesn't live delicious, melty cheese! The menu has lots of cheesey things--burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, Mac and cheese, chicken sandwiches, fries, shakes, and, of course, tomato soup to go with the grilled cheese. You order at the counter and are given a pager to let you know when you're order is ready. The gentleman (Nicholas, I think) at the counter was so friendly and helpfull. The dining room is pleasant, with exposed brick and both regular and high top tables. We ordered *Two Melt Burgers. You can dress it as you like--add lettuce, tomatoes, onion, jalapenos, and sauce. *Sicilian Chicken Sandwich--grilled chipped chicken, provelone, fontina, and grilled mushrooms on spicy garlic bread *Queso de Mayo--avocado, fresh jalapenos, smoked bacon, and pepper jack cheese on grilled artisan French bread *Garlic Parmesan Fries Everything was sooo good and so cheesy. The price wasn't bad, either. This could definitely become a regular thing for us!

Holy Moses lawd above I have seen the light and it's garlicky and cheesy. I was in the mood for comfort food tonight and not in the mood to go anywhere, so I did what I do as a millennial and searched good ol doordash for ideas. I came across The Melt and I've gotta say... I'm pretty sure this is the best thing I've tasted in YEARS. First, the sandwich: I ordered The Italian and added steak. The menu says the bread is "spicy garlic" and whoo boy, they are not kidding. The bread was absolutely *PACKED* with flavor. The steak was tender and thinly shaved, and the mushrooms were out. of. this. world. And the cheese blend? Chefs kiss. Next, the garlic Parmesan fries: just yes. All the yes. The fries were flavorful and crispy. I did need to add salt, but that is no biggie. As a picky fry eater, I was impressed. Finally, dessert: their snicker doodle malt. Think of your happiest childhood memory, and imagine being able to experience it again. That's what this malt was like. Just pure bliss. Absolutely hands down 100/10. Will I be back? Hell yes.

Had been eyeing this place as I worked in the area. Today I happen to see folks inside not looking like workers, and folks with bags coming out. So I went over and stepped inside. Was greeted by a nice lady who let me know if was a friends and family day (soft open). I apologized and just mentioned my excitement to try this place when it opened. She let me know its no problem at all just step on over and they will take care of it for you today. No charge, Our staff is still in training, please enjoy! Thanked her and got in line. While waiting I checked out the menu. Was impressed with the wide selection of "Cheese" items. From a Patty melts to Melty Mac! Took me a what seamed like a while to decide between the BBQ Bacon Burger or the Patty Melt. Soon as I heard her say sir I can help you, I picked. While I waited for my number I noticed everyone (staff) was moving with purpose. Getting a togo bag, helping with the lemonade, guiding them where to order, ect. And smiling, like they where enjoying it. That makes me happy, knowing they are kicking butt and liking what they are doing. We were in town visiting from Chicago, IL ... the best food town in the world. A neighbor recommended The Melt. She said they had good burgers. We decided to try it. The burgers weren't bad, but they weren't good. Just average. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them again. My wife had the patty melt. It was decent. But it wasn't even served on rye bread, which is customary. I do t believe there were grilled onions on it either. I had the spicy mission burger. I wasn't a fan. Very average. It would've been better with pickled jalapeños, not raw ones. You ordered at the counter and your buzzer went off when your food was ready (heated up). This place is amazing, and that's saying a lot considering I never write reviews. The ingredients are GREAT! Everything just looks healthy, you can see from my picture the food was shining with real color. The food was simply REAL. Real food! Not processed at all just simply real and I respect and love that so much. The service was great the staff is very helpful and just funny they smile and laugh and are genuinely nice. Happy people! The ambiance was good it's not a restaurant like you have a waiter but after you order they do come up to check on you which is very nice. Happy people and Real food! Eating one of their burgers is like Tinkerbell: every time a customer purchases a burger there, a cardiologist buys a new Mercedes. Their food is that good. Sinfully good. In Tempe for an early morning appointment, I didn't have time to eat something before leaving Whistlestop... and by the time I was out of my appointment, I was ready for a cup of joe and something to eat. My need for caffeine satisfied, I looked for what sounded like a great restaurant and spied The Melt. What good fortune! First of all, I don't know what it is about their shakes, but Inwas just going to drink water when I smelled someone's shake being made. Yes, smelled it. It didn't take much convincing and I ordered a strawberry shake As good as the shake was, my Meltburger was kinda like seeing Star Wars for the first time: explosions of taste, this and that, culinary chaos (in a good way), fireworks going off in my mouth. My stomach growled its approval, causing alarmed mothers to grab their kids. Attacking that huge burger was like the Normandy invasion... not at all pretty, an assault for the books. History in the making. To be fair, I was a complete gentleman, quietly eating my repast, but on the inside, it was like flying down the alley to hit the exhaust port of the Death Star... sheer excitement. Yes, it was that good. No, excellent. Oh hell, it was probably the best burger I've had -- certainly the best I've had in a very long time. Superlative. You owe it to yourself to come here and try their food. And their shakes. Come hungry... very hungry. Good service. Outrageously, seriously delicious food. read more

Got takeout before and it was pretty good! I got the Queso de mayo and a cup of tomato soup! It was so good! This time I definitely regretted not sticking to the good stuff. My boyfriend got the melt burger. He really likes it! Personally for me it's alright, tastes like a burger u make at home. This time I got the Caesar salad with grilled cheese croutons. The croutons are actually NOT little grilled cheese. They're just regular croutons with very little hard caramelized cheese on top. Salad is very mediocre. Lettuce, parm, croutons. I also got a side of the Mac and cheese. ALSO very mediocre. Tastes like microwave Mac and cheese. We added jalapeños thinking they would be cooked in the cheese and they were just placed on top. Pretty disappointed. Milkshakes are good tho! If u decide to come, I definitely ONLY recommend the grilled cheese and drinks. read more

Had my first experience in San Diego. It was heavenly. The meat was perfect, with the right amount of juiciness and crisp with a beautiful taste that will take your problems away. The employees are delightful and very welcoming, and the establishment is amazing, the theme in the restaurant is perfect for the concept of Melt. This place... this place ..... where do I start... over the years my desire to eat burgers had dwindled I was just over it. We stumbled upon this place because north italia had a wait list of 1 hour. All I can say is GOD is good! The food was amazing ! Shout out to my boy Cameron who suggested the steak and cheese and the spicy mission burger and we are now raving fans !! The food is so good and to our surprise it wasn't heavy. The garlic fries were fire too. We ended our meal with a Snickerdoodle shake and that was absolute perfection. My main rule about coming here so that I get peak "yumminess" is to only eat it there. The food texture is just better when eaten right away. Fried foods don't stand the take out test IMO.
