A bit hidden, but The Joint is a great spot for coffee in Bethlehem. It's tiny inside, so I wouldn't plan to stay here long, and it's not good for a full breakfast, but the coffee is very good. I got a bourbon-barrel aged cortado and it was excellent. Definitely could taste a bit of the smokiness from the barrel, which I loved. Staff were super friendly. I'd be a regular if I lived here. Will definitely return when back in town. read more

Iced cold brew coffee with milk was good. Their sign is hidden by trees on sidewalk so never knew they were here. Once you locate the sign you have to walk through tunnel to get to The Joint Coffee. read more

(-) I typically get an Americano or Drip but wanted to try their Honeychino because it sounded interesting. I was not a fan, it wasn't that it wasn't sweet but rather it had a harsh note at the end. It smelled like honey, that was nice! I'm also a huge fan of ginger in my food so I got their ginger chocolate chip cookie. Texture was good but all you taste is the artificial like ginger! The cookie was overpowering and not enjoyable. If I go again, I'll stick to my original order of a drip coffee or Americano. I'd like to try their chocolate chip banana cookie, hoping it's not overpowering with just banana flavor. read more

Went on Monday morning for a coffee date with my newborn and best friend! I got the chocolate croissant and a cold brew with a double shot of the bourbon barrel espresso and brown sugar flavoring and oat milk. It was DELICIOUS. The espresso was amazing. The croissant was one or the best I've ever had. The place is cute and cozy and we sat outside to enjoy the day and view the courtyard! The service was great and quick! read more

There are a few times in life when a meal is so expertly crafted and planned that it is nothing short of genius.... I always wanted to start with Yelp's example. But seriously, I just had two cortado's made to order via the app, and used Apple Pay. By the time I arrived they were ready and waiting and it was my first time here so I definitely liked the interior. It's a coffee shop with a creative edge. For instance, the name....Joint Coffee, or the "pothead" logo coffee pot head. I love it, including the t-shirts they sell. The cortado was delicious. Woke me back up for the class/training I'm attending nearby and I look forward to coming back. read more

Weave your way through the catacombs of Bethlehem and hang a left at the alleyways similar to Jack the Ripper's neighborhood and you will find a gem and paradise. I obviously jest about the trip but I was a little on edge being a visitor of Bethlehem and venturing through the path to find The Joint. The path was well lit and open but seemed a little shady at first. When I found The Joint I was really glad I did. I walked in and immediately felt the cool vide of relaxation and welcome and time almost stood still. There was no rush, no pressure to order a twenty word drink and the barista moved with fluidity and efficiency. Coffee was really, really good. I ordered a cold brew and it was smooth and rich. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area. read more

Follow the signs on the main road to find it! A hidden gem. Cozy interior with a few tables and menu written in chalk. They offer pour over, drip, international-style coffee and homemade syrups! Their own beans are also available for purchase. Coffees come in 3 sizes: 8, 12, and 16 ounces. Reasonable prices. They take their coffee seriously! A macchiato is really just an espresso shot and a bit of milk. Ordered the lavender latte. It was creamy, not too sweet and the coffee flavor still came through. Delicious!! We tried every coffee shop in downtown Bethlehem, and this was our favorite. It was a little hard to find, inside of a courtyard area with no entrance on the main road, but it's super cute inside and the courtyard is really lovely. The coffee is great and they have vegan cookies. The iced oat milk latte with peppermint tastes like peppermint ice cream. 10/10! read more

The coffee is here is some of the best! I would give it 5 stars for tasty coffee and super friendly customer service. I gave it three bc I bought a chocolate chip scone. I usually get the pistachio ones but decided to try something different. I actually didn't get to eat it until the next day. I toasted it and dug in, it was so good. It had a slight cheesy taste which I thought was interesting. As I kept eating, I realized it wasn't cheese but mold. ...ruined my morning. Update: I continue to come to this place because their drinks are SO good so I'm adding an extra star bc they're too good. Seriously, if u haven't, try this place out! Bethlehem needs more places like this! Quality coffee with excellent service. From the outside this place doesn't look like much and in fact it's down right tiny, however they've artfully managed to arrange a good deal of seating in both the front and back of the store. This place was bustling even midmorning on a weekday. Be sure to try their lattes as they are fabulous! read more

I'm always on Yelp finding those hidden gems, awesome food, amazing coffee, whatever it is I'm craving on our trips! Well, decided to check this place out because if I didn't go here it was gonna be donut shop or McD's and that stuff is basically chocolate milk. Well, I shoulda went and got chocolate milk! This coffee started off bad when they said they use cocoa powder! But I thought, suck it up, you are too far from home to complain. 1. Cocoa powder does not belong in espresso.... EVER!! 2. Shots pulled over ice are immediately shocked and therefore burnt before they hit the bottom of the cup! 3. 12 ounce cups are NOT 16 ounce cups! Listen and get it right! 4. I have had worse, but, not much!! Service wasn't horrible, but very uneducated in the coffee world. So to the owner of the Joint, I suggest you YouTube, study, travel to Blue Star Coffee Roasters in Twisp, Washington or somehow learn how to pull shots and make some great coffee! I understand I am one person, from out of state and my review is not going to affect your overall business, however, there is nothing wrong with better quality! Oh man... This is a very good neighborhood coffee stop. It's got a small, well-built menu of drinks and select food items. The baristas are friendly and capable of not a bit hipster. The quality is top-notch. Drawbacks? Wifi isn't available and cell signal stunk as it is buried in the middle of a building. That meant my desire to sit and have three or four drinks was impossible. The Joint is such a hidden gem. Their menu is fairly priced and such high quality. The staff is very kind and efficient. I always get my drinks very quickly and the quality is consistent. They also have a nice points/rewards system. The inside has a lot of character and is a great place to study, catchup with friends, etc. The location is a little hard to find your first time, but not too difficult. I am a huge fan of the joint. The space is tucked in the Sun Inn Courtyard so it is a little off of Main Street in Bethlehem. Personally, I usually get a vanilla latte with the house made vanilla syrup and I have never been disappointed. I have also gotten whole bean coffee for my house which was fantastic. read more

Super cool artsy spot tucked away in a corner. Went there during the pandemic to get some work done, and Connor, one of the baristas, offered to let me stay while he closed up the shop. I did, and though they closed at 4, Connor continued taking customers well-past that time while he broke stuff down for the day. Cool art on the walls as well and great coffee! read more

This place is freaking amazing. My wife and I drank a cappuccino here today, and it was nothing short of amazing. Amazing. Seriously. If you never thought a cappuccino could be amazing.... come here. I've been here before and it's very consistent, fast, good treats, great place to sit and use your laptop, do stuff, charging ports... play checkers. The guy behind the counter is a freakin genius chemist in my book. 5 stars. I'll drive 60 miles to come here any time. Very comfortable. So I went back with my wife the next day for breakfast and the avocado toast was delicious as expected. We took three cappuccinos (an extra one just cuz) and all consistent. Smooth, creamy. I should also ad that for cappuccinos, they were made quickly. I'm always keeping track because I know the chemistry usually takes a bit longer. Just so everyone knows I will be reviewing coffee places from now on since there's so many. I know a good coffee/cappuccino when I see one. read more

I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor. For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. The potato crsted cod was served beautifully with a lobster broth poured table-aide and was accompanied by fresh clams, shrimp, and mussels- honestly not a critique to be found. The grilled Chipotle flank steak was cooked to perfection and the hen of the woods mushroom was a showstopper. All in all I struggled to not make a reservation for every night I was in town because it is a must to go back. The decor and staff arw welcoming and as thoughtful as the meals served with mushrooms present all throughout complimenting the Bolete name. 10/10 all around.

The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.
