The Dirty Work in a mug!
Rick L.

I had 2 fantastic experiences at Nowhere Coffee on a recent visit to Allentown. I'm not against the major coffee chain but it's nice to find a nice, local alternative, and it's especially nice when the entire experience of ordering, being, and eating and drinking there is fantastic. They've got all the coffee drinks you can imagine including some quite indulgent specialties including "The Dirty Work" and the "A Little Bit of Everything" both of which combine all kinds of things into delicious, bold, and satisfying coffee drinks. (Pro-tip - if you're drinking-in get your beverage in a ceramic mug which is more satisfying to drink out of then the default paper cups you might get to go.) The staff was super nice and accommodating when ordering. They know their product well and were helpful in guiding me on what to get based on questions I asked. I also love all the food options, especially as a vegetarian. I enjoyed The "Grateful Egg and Spinach" quiche-like tart situation one morning and the blueberry bread the next. The croissants are outasite! The regular had a mildly sweet coating on it which added to the whole indulgent experience, and the chocolate...let's just say you can get spiritually lost in its delicious divinity. It's a sweet spot to sit in while eating and drinking...cool decore and more seating in the back if you want a different kind of space in the front. I'll definitely be back to Nowhere the next time I'm in Allentown!

They have such FUN and UNIQUE HOUSEMADE flavors!!!!! None of that torboni or whatever it's called garbage. She is luxe and RICH!!!! AND!!!! AND!!!!! THEY HAVE VEGAN COLDFOAM. THATS ACTUALLY DELICIOUS. I'm so sad this is 2 hours from me and we were only passing though ): if this was near me I would be a regular. 10/10 would be back again.

I have been here twice since I had to be in the area for work. I am so glad to find a local coffee shop near by. The place is in an odd area but the stand alone building gets packed during prime hours. The last time I went it was full! It seems like a good community and well known to the area. The one thing I like about this place is the options. They have so many flavor combinations that are unique and make you want to come back to try something else. The last latte I got called "Turm Back Time" was turmeric cinnamon syrup made in house! It was delicious. Warming spices, the right amount of sweetness not to overpower the espresso and perfect blend of flavors. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely return.

Cold brew

Wow the cold foam cold brew. This was awesome and it's only a stones throw from my moms. Specials are named after female Pop artists songs. They should lean into that more. They give you a lot of cream cheese. The everything bagels were good and unlike everywhere in philly they aren't sold out. Very comfortable inside. Sitting next to the windows and drinking coffee on a weekend morning would be pretty relaxing. You can add shots of CBD to any drink. First time I've seen that. Am I sheltered? Though I think adding a calming agent to a caffeinated drink seems like it would just cancel out one another. It's still pretty cool as an offering. Anyway, I was impressed.

One of the best coffee shops in the Lehigh Valley! Love their lattes and baked goods! The counter staff is always friendly and welcoming. Comfy and cozy atmosphere and nice chairs too!

Little pricy, little out of the way, not super friendly barista. The staff overall is nice but the one who took our order was not. Parking was fine but some were designated for other businesses only. Easy enough to find a spot otherwise. The interior is dark and refined. There are unisex and family restrooms for all! Also lots of different seat types -- couches, bar stools, metal chairs, and wooden benches. There are two different seating areas, one in the front with lots of windows and a view of Giant, and one in back that is darker and by the bathrooms. The let it bee cold brew and the turm back time latte were both great! The lemon bar was also exceptional. Like the other review said, since this is a specialty shop and small company, expect to pay more than chain coffee shops. Prices: Cold brew was $6.75, lemon bar was $6, and the turmeric latte was $5.75. We'd come back as a special treat, but maybe not for every day. Nice overall!

Very much enjoyed breakfast here. Cute seating in the back especially. Latte and chia pudding were great. Egg sandwich was ok-had a strange flavor to me-not certain of the seasoning they used.

Do you want to go nowhere? This is the only time I would say absolutely! Good coffee , great pastries. I love the ambiance. Plenty of comfortable seating. Great spot to catch up with a friend.

Great place. Oddly unenjoyable owner. Beyond insulting. Taken aback by communication skills.

Wonderful coffee and service. I had the lavender latte and it was amazing. The barista even made a design in the foam.

Some things were good, others were disappointing. I couldn't decide between the breakfast tacos and the G145 egg sandwich, so I got both. This was the first time I ever ordered breakfast tacos so I'm glad they were delicious! They were piled high with chorizo, scrambled eggs, tater tots, cheddar jack cheese, pico, and sour cream. The G145 egg sandwich consists of two eggs, bacon, & American cheese on a brioche bun. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the roll was soft and flavorful. My dad ordered a strip steak and eggs. He said, "it was okay, it's kind of tough". A medium rare steak should never be tough. My mom ordered two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and toast. She enjoyed the eggs and toast, but said the potatoes were awful. I had some with my sandwich and I have to agree with her. They were bland and dry. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good, but the service was substandard. Our server was super unattentive. Eating and socializing behind the bar was more of a priority than checking on her tables. I was still generous enough to tip 20%. Pickup and delivery are both available. Missy the owner was wonderful to chat with and I appreciate that she didn't laugh at me too hard when I told her I want to put on plays in her place. The food is great too!! So Baked is a small bakery located on Main St in Emmaus, they focus on dessert side of baking, mostly cookies, bars, scones and things like that. Everything is made in the shop. They also have gluten free items as well. You can even get a salad or Iced Coffee if you want to. The baked goods were good, nice and fresh. The lime coconut bar was great, the orange cranberry scone was very good, but I was let down by the peanut butter cookie sandwich, the filling was lacking flavor. The Iced coffee was also good, I like that the ice cubes were made with coffee. The service was good, she was friendly and answered our questions and gave us recommendations. The inside looks basic but gets the job done. This place is also cheaper than I expected with the boom in gourmet cookie places charging $5 a cookie, this place is a steal at less than half that for some stuff. Overall a very good local bakery to stop in when ever your looking for a sweet treat.

With its airy outside patio and spacious interior, we loved the vibe. We were warmly greeted by our server Paige and were seated. Our spicy margaritas had just the right amount of kick! We were off to a great start... We dined on chili and a dish called El Fresco. The El Fresco are marinated seasoned chicken chunks served on a bed of sliced mozzarella and tomatoes. It was so savory and satisfying. The Honey could not stop saying how good the chili was!! I was lucky enough to get a spoonful (or two) before it was all gone! You will not go wrong with either one of these dishes. Paige was nice enough to answer my questions about the Brunch menu and history of the restaurant. She directed me to the wall where an article about the owner Marta was hanging. We then had the pleasure of meeting her when she came by the table to check on us. We're so happy we stopped in. The food and service were top notched. When we're in the area again, we're definitely returning. If we lived in the area I could see us becoming regulars here. I suggest you pay them a visit...if you're local to the area or out of towners, you won't be disappointed!! Thank me later.

This was beyond amazing. I was welcome to the max and butters and felt immediately comfortable and at home. MATT, the bartender greeted me warmly and provided a menu. Martha, who I didn't know was the owner and chef, so you watching the TV isn't asked me if there's anything specific I wanted. She quickly changed the channel that all the TVs to sports. I was blown away by that. The restaurant itself has lots of kitsch and the decor requires you to pay attention and really make some detailed observations. I sat at the bar and it was a quiet night with just me, Matt , and Martha. Another woman named Lindsay joined us, and she was a local. I've never been anywhere where I felt so welcome. I ordered a black cherry cider and a tomato mozzarella salad with shrimp. It was all excellent. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Martha is an amazing chef and restaurateur who knows her stuff and knows how to create a space that welcomes guests. It was one of the best experiences I've had eating out while working. It makes me want to come back to Allentown just to patronize this restaurant.
